Our yard wasn’t properly graded which caused flooding in our basement multiple times within the first two months. They crashed a bobcat into our house and took a long time and multiple requests to fix the damage. They didn’t put enough dirt down and sodded over straight rock in some areas... the list goes on. Apparently Lennar is too big of a company to take pride in doing the the job right.

The Quality of House is great, but when it is thrown together in minimal time it loses it's Luster. We're continuously finding major/minor defects. Crooked walls, creaking floors that seem as if not completely nailed down, sink stopper that won't stay connected... In the yard multiply holes and ridges from unsuitable rolling of the grass, regularly finding pieces of metal and rocks under the non growing grass. Responsiveness to issues maybe prompt, but a better or additional title would be "Accomplishment of Issues in a Timely Manner". The spokesperson is always available, but as the middle voice has no authority to getting anything done. Just an opportunity to separate, pause and create an allusion of things could possibly being accomplished. Love the floor plans and how they have change the elevations to where they don't look so cookie cutter. Like how the price you pay is what you get. All upgrades are up front and there was no other hiden fees or charges.

I can't say enough how nice a community that Lennar has made in Princeton, TX. The value of the home and the home itself has been so impressive. We are so happy that we bought a Lennar home.

Lennar has been a pretty good company to work with. I happened to stumble upon their property and found that I liked what I saw, almost instantly. While the quality of the workmanship was alright - much more geared towards rapid building and "cookie-cutter" style townhomes, meeting with the construction manager and hearing about their passion for "getting things right" was helpful. I was able to walk through and point out everything that might have been damaged or not to my satisfaction for a new property. As I have lived here for the past months, any issues that have popped up, Lennar Customer Care has been prompt to reply to me and get any services I might need lined up. I am rather pleased with how well it has worked out. My only real.... less than positive experienced was when I was preparing to place an offer down on the property I moved into. I was introduced to Lennar's "preferred partners" they would like you to use, and my realtor advised me to explore what was out there. Ultimately, I chose to go with a different lender and title company than who Lennar usually works with, and the preferred partners were persistent, to say the least, about trying to obtain my business. At times, it was very annoying to have them constantly calling or emailing trying to solicit my business when I had already entered into a contract with a different company. ... More

Instead of being an exciting process, it was a headache due to lack of professionalism and business ethics. I had to get my attorneys involved that cost my an arm and a leg. I do not recommend doing business with Lennar. And everyone in my condo went through similar experiences and have the worst reviews about their experience too. Reading reviews on their social media will give you a better flavor of how unethical they are.

Overall good service and friendly

This our first home purchase and we were kind of nervous cause we heard stories about the process on buying a home. Lennar made the whole home buying process simple and stress free. They kept us informed the whole way. Even after we purchased home David one of the best members of Lennar, checked up on us to see how we were doing. To me that speaks volumes about David and the Lennar team. We will definitely be buying again and we are positive that we will going with Lennar when that time comes.

Great process until follow ups. Follow up work is terrible. Great sales and financial group. The building manager is a super nice guy but the contractors used do poor work and are filled with excuses.

I have reported Lennar that my street is missing lighting at night. They have not resolve it since them. It is Lennar responsibility to provide those at Windermere StoreyLake

We closed on our home on March 27 and still have outstanding ticket items that have not been rectified. When we contact lennar reps it’s a constant blame game. For our home we have atleast 10 outstanding ticket items that have not been fixed on of them from our original punch list before we closed. I would NEVER build with lennar again and would NEVER refer to friends and family due to the headaches you have caused us.

Quality is not good in and out side

We are having a problem with the door. A part needs to be replaced. We had another’s visit but the part was not brought out. Still waiting. We were supposed to receive a text when they were coming. Didn’t receive a text. They came when we had to take daughter to class.

We are very pleased with our Lennar home. The house is great so far. However, the community center is FAR too small for the number of homes. There will be about 400 homes but only space for a party of about 10-15 people. Lennar was too cheap to build a bigger, better center. We have also had many issues with the grass and land outside. The sod and front bushes were placed on rocks and are dying already (after only a couple months), but lennar doesn’t include the yard in their warranty.

Lennar has changed the beginning of recreation building 3 times. The also can't control the contractors who block driveways, blast music all day and toss garbage on lawns daily.

Nice size house and design for the price, but the craftsmanship can be a whole lot better.

Overall we are happy with our home. We were extremely disappointed that the HVAC unit is right outside our master bedroom window, it constantly wakes us up every single night and I am not pleased at all with that. We were never told it would be there, on the model it was on the side of the house by the garage and we assumed it would be there on this house. We've had numerous issues with the carpet, and an independent inspector came out recently and said the company failed to properly seal the seams at the transition, causing constant fraying. Kevin Boardman has been great in responding to our issues, but I really wish we didn't have so many. ... More

I hope they will sell to good investors and good real estate companies who have a great track record.

We run out of hot water every time we shower.
