We had a super easy experience buying our condo with Lennar. From our realtors Debbie and Donna to our excellent Lennar support staff we were very pleased with the price and experience. The Lennar team was extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. The place was absolutely perfect when we closed. Cuddos to Lennar and the great people who work there. Happy to be coming to Florida the best state in the union.

Promises were not kept. Loan process was great. Walk through not so great.

This was an extremely easy experience. The house was pre-planned and more than 50% complete so involvement was little to none...we just watched it get completed. Walk throughs were simplistic and was accomplished with minimal effort. Overall, great experience.

Prices are low; workmanship is okay.

Love the house, but the problem is.. my warranty deed says one city, but I have to put a different city for shipping purposes. Some companies dont acknowledge/pull up the physical address at all in their systems. Should have been told this in the beginning. Paying one city's taxes bit having g to put another one for daily life. Makes no sense

You would think paying almost $400,000 for a house it’d come dang near perfect but not the case at all. MULTIPLE major and minor issues, many that were listed off to be fixed before our move in date that were not. Bubbles in the drywall (ceilings and walls), crooked outlets, windows, door knobs, doors not latching, towel bar falling out of drywall, all hot water was running out of the cold side and vice versa, bathtub leak in spare bathroom, chips in the tile. Very poor quality. Not to mention the amount of trash we have blow into our yard daily due to the careless workers not being able to use a trash can or trash bag. When requesting minor issues to be corrected, builder almost like sees it as an inconvenience and we should let it slide. Absolutely not. ... More

I asked questions along the way and was told let me find out and I will get back to you. {Never happened} one guy told me it's not like we have a check making machine here. Didn't care for that answer now they tell us it could be a year before we start getting our mail here at Mize Meadows

Great experience and very helpful and thoughtful

Our experience with buying a house from Lennar was not great. They missed the final walkthrough entirely. Closing had to be delayed. Mortgage with Lennar was terrible. They never returned our calls. Overall really bad.

The buying experience was great along with the mortgage loan process. The onsite home inspection representative was very good and responsive, helped with problems I had with the house. Painting was not done professionally walls are rough in places, paint was one receptacle covers and spattered all over the vinyl plank floors in all the room. I really like the layout, windows, doors, counters, shower, sinks, appliances, vinyl plank, carpet and tile are all good quality and installed well. The house is insulated well, sealed and quiet. The yard is the perfect size and landscaped nicely. Overall I really like the place, my rating would be perfect if it was not for the paint and cleanup even though I had some other issues with the counter cabinet door and some scratches in the vinyl plank that were promptly fixed. One suggestion is to give people moving in a time slot to program their garage door openers, my door was being opened when I was not home by a neighbor opening theirs. ... More

Great experience and very professional team and quick move to new home really happy buying home with Lennar and in future my other family and friends will be Al’s buy home with Lennar

The Lennar Track document process is completely broken. I lost large amounts of my life with the IT Helpdesk trying to make it work. So much so that I memorized the tedious process required to allow me access. Multiple times I requested that no more documents be placed there and it was done anyway. Everyone is very nice but, they don’t listen. The excessive number of emails was inconceivable. There could easily have been a consolidation of these to less than half a dozen containing a number of tasks in one. Overall, Lennar’s processes make an otherwise straightforward series of tasks into a nightmare of bureaucracy. ... More

I had read some negative reviews about Lennar, however everything was done right with this division I felt

There were some issues with the house even before going in that weren't fixed and it's sad that you have to submit a warranty request to get them fixed and that can take up to 1 - 2 weeks. They should definitely be more in depth of how to change out lights and other things that you normally wouldn't think to ask. It would also be great if you were a new and first time homeowner to have a contact person with questions as far as HOAs how to submit a service warranty just general things instead of reaching out to people who no longer want to work with you because you've already purchased the home. The things I don't like about this home are minor or things other people like. I HATE the master bath toilet in a closet. The second toilet is positioned next to the counter so you are pressed against the roll of paper. I also don't like single bowl sinks. Throughout the house there are wall outlets everywhere, great. And only two in the three car garage. Did Lennar run out of outlets?

we have had multiple issues with our home, all of them have been addressed by Lennar. Some of the pain points were extremely shoddy work behind the sink in the powder room, the ring bell not being wired at all, missing light covers in the living room. The attention to detail is why a house is a luxury home. The worst part of this - in one and a half month - having to see a pile of garbage and dirt out of our window right on the main entrance to the homes. If you plan to call something luxury set the premise from the get go - the landscape should go in before the sale and it should be pristine. There is no reason for anyone to look at construction debris from our window and from the road. I have had conversations with people visiting and the state of the roads, landscape and the little details that make a house a luxury home are all we spoke about. The other issue is with the HoA - we paid for the amenities and had to wait for a month and half to even get fobs to the gym. Also there needs to be another one. Can’t have 750 homes and only one gym. It isn’t big enough to accommodate even half the families and it’s a townhouse community. Lastly the USPS - how and why in Gods name would you have a home with no address. This all should be sorted out pre construction - I can’t switch any of my addresses since USPS doesn’t recognize the address even on their own website. The people who work at Lennar are wonderful - shout out to Joanna, David and Peggy and to the people who are in service - Rick was awesome. It’s a good company but needs to really look at the details before calling it a luxury home. ... More

Everything was great throughout the buying process. Once you close, the attentiveness and assistance stops. Even trying to contact the closing department and get a callback or response is practically impossible. In addition to that, at times there are construction workers violating City of Laurel city ordinances by conducting construction before the hours that are in the ordinance.

Styrofoam used on exterior … appliances installed way too tight pulling away at cabinets…

My experience with Lennar has been awful. I was given misinformation from my Lennar mortgage representative on several occasions making the process a nightmare. Then I was promised that a list of items would be completed by the builder prior to my virtual walk-through. They were not, but promised to be done prior to closing. It's now been six weeks since I closed and I'm still waiting for many things to be fixed. I'm frustrated and very unhappy with Lennar.

Sales in this area are terrible - if you are looking go to Anna or McKinney as they have responsive sales people, not here. After closing when I took possession I arrived to find my house unlocked, the door scraped and a stain on the carpet. I contacted my salesperson and she replied "ok". Items I was assured were completed indeed were not. I could continue but you get the picture. The closing experience was great! My loam officer was incredible and made it easy.

Do not close on your home unless you have all items complete and finished to your liking.

This is my second home purchased from Lennar in four years. In both instances a water pipe was punctured multiple times when the microwave snd kitchen cabinets were installed. Both times my kitchen had water damage and I had to wait a month to have the repairs done. New kitchen- torn apart for a month- twice. My garage door opener still loses power. Not repaired. Two months in. Quality is poor. The price is lower than other counties but the quality control needs improvement.
