I am enjoying my new lennar home, I have had great experiences so far.

The team I worked with was Shannon, Whitney and Sam and they have been outstanding in every way through the process, from lot selection, best floor plan to maximize the selected lot. Then moving to the setting up the construction process and the outstanding communication with Whitney to keep up to date on progress and key dates. Sam for ensuring the build was executed with expert craftmanship with the materials provided. The experience has been Outstanding Thank you all for the excellent experience!

When shopping for the house Koral was great, she was friendly, and took her time to make sure we weren't rushed, she took us to multiple neighborhoods and houses to make sure we found what we thought was going to be the right house. Abraham and Erica made our mortgage process seamless and painless, they were very responsive to any questions we had and were always on top of reaching out when they needed something from us. Everything was looking up until the day of closing we were never given a time to actually close on the house, we called to the Lennar title office multiple times leading up to the day of closing and it was difficult to get in contact with anyone, when we did get someone on the phone we couldn't get a straight answer, when we finally got an answer it was that we would be closing first thing in the morning to ensure we can pick up the keys since the pickup times are strictly set for 11:00am and 4:00pm. The day of closing we had not received anything for closing and reached back out to the title office and again it was very difficult to get in contact with anyone and when we did we were constantly told that we needed to talk to one specific person who was very difficult to get in contact with. We were eventually told that they were still working on all of our documents when we were told previously that everything was ready to go. We missed the 11:00am pick up time for the keys and were hopeful to get everything finished in time for the 4:00pm pick up time. As time approached 4:00pm with no update we reached out to Koral and to Abraham who are not involved with title but were great helps again in getting things on track with the title office, when we expressed our concerns that we wouldn't be closing in time to pick up our keys Koral coordinated for someone to stay late in order to ensure we could pick up the keys. When we finally got the closing documents there mistakes that had to be corrected which only further delayed our closing. We got the information for the virtual closing with the notary around 4:30 that day, once we finished up we got the okay to pick up the keys and head to our new house. Walking into the house we were greeted with a slew of things not cleaned up, there was dirt all over the floor, paint splatter, adhesive residue, and dirty hand prints all throughout the house, and the house was riddled with bugs. During our blue tape walkthrough we noted that there was missing weather-stripping on the doors and we were surprised to see it was still missing when we moved in, we also found out that our living room only had power when the back porch light was on, we had a leak under the master bathroom sink, and water damage to the cabinet, one of the circuit breakers kept flashing its arc fault indicator, and it turns out it was due to one of the wires on one to the GFCI outlets not being secured, we had to open the knockout for the drain house for our washer in the box in the laundry room since it was still closed. We had asked for a copy of the third party inspection report but all we got was a one page document saying the house passed. I don't see how with all of these issues it passed. When submitting warranty claims for these items some were addressed quickly and professionally, while others not even close. The leak under the sink was addressed quickly and was told that the cabinet would be repaired after the leak was fixed. Chris was the one handling this particular claim and he was scarce to reply, I would reach out for updates about the cabinet, he would give dates and times when he would be by to look at it. Those times would come and go with no communication from him, I would reach out and see if he wanted to reschedule and wouldn't hear anything. The only way it seemed I could get him to respond was by submitting new claims for the issue. After a little more than 4 weeks the cabinet was finally addressed. And the "repair" was just to cover up the damage on the lower shelf of the cabinet by laying a thin piece over the top, ignoring the damage to the left wall of the cabinet. When I expressed my concerns about the so called "repair" and how there was the potential for mold underneath the cabinet due to the leak being so bad that it came out from underneath the cabinet. Chris told me that my concerns don't exist. My wife is allergic to mold and we have a baby on the way and not addressing the risk of mold poses a health risk. When our sod was laid in the yard it was absolutely riddled with weeds and other invasive plants. The yard is so uneven and bumpy after it was graded for the sod, and the landscapers laid the sod in a way that our gate was stuck open and had to be trimmed to close. I came home one afternoon to find that half of the fence on the right side of the house fell down shortly after moving in. I wouldn't recommend these houses to anyone after what we've experienced in the 2 months we've lived here, the quality is bad, there's no pride in the work, no integrity to do things right, all the work that's contracted out seems like its done as cheaply and as quickly as possible, and then when issues are brought up they are ignored and you're hung out to dry. This home was supposed to be the place where my wife and I stated a family together but it has just become a nightmare. ... More

I paid 250k for a 1600 sq ft 4 bedroom house with the tiniest backyard I've ever seen. I'm a first time home buyer and after the first 2 months here I can now confidentially list numerous things that were done shoddily. 1. EVERY door frame in the house is just the tiniest but bigger than it should be. I've needed to put door strike plate expanders on every door that I actually want to keep closed since they left about 1 millimeter of contact between the latch bolt and the strike plate. Shaking the door aggressively could open it up without even turning the handles. 2. The back door is literally cut crooked. The spine of the door is attached to a literal crooked doorframe that stick out more on the middle than the top of bottom and since day 1, the back door doesn't close or open right and takes a bunch of force to do either. 3. Moulding caulk across the entire house was done shoddily. Now I see why I had all those pest control people literally harassing me the first month. It's because they know that the moulding isn't actually sealed and just has holes and missed spots for insects to literally enter the house. Your carpeted bedroom. The back door, the kids room, the kitchen, it's everywhere. 4. They never sealed the bottom of the cabinets. Within one week I had an animals get stuck in the crawlspace they left uncovered in the cabinets. They literally just left it unfinished and little animals can crawl in there.... And there is no way to force them out without breaking about the entire cabinet system. 5. NONE of the cabinets or drawers in this house has handles on them. None..... I didn't realize it during the rush to buy, that they wouldn't be installing even basic things like that. I bought a house that already has issues that need to be fixed and the inspector didn't notice ANY of this. That's not to mean the inspector didn't also have things that needed to be worked on, but those were almost inconsequential superficial things that almost seemed to exist to distract me. I've also needed to buy an additional AC unit for the master bedroom, because even with a new house and new unit, the master bedroom, the one that's the main bedroom in the house, is ten degrees warmer than the rest of the house at all times. ... he buying experience with Lennar was about what you’d expect from a large corporate builder: professional on the surface, but you get the sense you’re just a number. Every negotiation felt like pulling teeth, and the promises made were larger than the follow-through. Some details were glossed over or even misleading — especially regarding HOA expectations. As an example of being treated like a number, I needed landscaping documents within 20 days of closing and couldn’t get ahold of my salesperson at all. I had to find a workaround on my own, and based on that, I would not recommend working with her. The build team, however, was a completely different experience. They did a thorough walkthrough with us, and our rep had already flagged many issues before we even arrived. Most were resolved before move-in, and the rest were handled quickly afterward. Special thanks to Patrick — he’s been a rockstar. He responds fast, communicates clearly, and even accepts text messages to help with issues. That said, there are a few disappointments in the construction and landscaping choices. The siding used is very thin, which seems to be an unfortunate trend with large builders cutting costs. Landscaping has also been spotty — several of our plants died quickly, and I’ve noticed similar issues around the neighborhood. There is a warranty covering one replacement, so I’ll reserve judgment until I see how that process goes. Overall: Once we were past the sales office, the experience improved dramatically. The build team and post-close support have been excellent, and despite the frustrations, we’re happy with our home and excited about the community. ... More

Exemplary employees at every level

We had a very good experience in our home purchase! Our salesperson, Tom Ferrigamo was awesome and still continues to be available after the purchase. The title company was very convenient and made the process stress free.

This is our third brand new home and we’ve been consistently disappointed with the quality of the Lennar home. Cheap carpet, no handles on any cabinets, dirty when we moved in, cabinets hung so high that the top shelves are unreachable (we’ve never had cabinets that were placed so oddly high), extremely loud furnace in the middle of the home. Zero stars. Disappointed buyer.

Unbelievable to move into a new build in Florida. It's a dream come true for our family.

I got to experience the building of the house. There are issues I experienced during my build. First issue would be the siding being installed as though they were shingles and not staggered like it should have been. Second would be the flooring being installed the same way! There was a stair step pattern. Flooring should've been sporadically staggered. Neither the siding nor the flooring was corrected. Third issue would've been kitchen countertop installed properly, but then a few days later was cracked. Andy resolved that issue and had the countertop replaced. Fourth issue would've been kitchen cabinet gouged while being installed. Andy also resolved that problem as well. Replacing the cabinet entirely. Fifth issue was watching the trim guy beat trim so hard over doorway cracking it and leaving it. Then painters come behind him and try to cover it up with filler and painting over it. And Andy also resolved that by having the entire trim over the door replaced. Sixth issue would be someone gouged the flooring in the bathroom. Issue was corrected. The seventh issue would have been pipe going to the furnace that was in line of walking directly into as you going through the doorway. Issue was resolved pipe was turned away. I also walked through several other homes being built, and the issue was in those homes as well. The worst part of the experience would have been the painters. I'm not sure which is worse the trim guy or the painters. There are runs all throughout the trim in the house. Overall, if it had not been for Andy and Brent these contractors just do whatever they want and leave it. 90% if not more are non-speaking English. I downsized from Dave Sego quality built custom home to Lennar. This was very painful to watch throughout. I would say these are nice starter homes for young couples. But if you are wanting quality, I would say do your homework first. I am happy with how responsive the Lennar team was during the purchase. They kept things moving forward and kept me informed constantly during the process.

We only met the construction manager after we closed, and did a brief walk around, I believe that he did address the issues our individual inspector noted during the build process. Dominique Peck, Sales Consultant, was excellent. She was always very responsive to our many questions. Jackie Dearmond, Concierge, was quite responsive to our questions and in providing necessary information needed all the way to our closing date.

Everybody at Lennar helped us all the time. They went above and beyond to make sure that we have everything we need.

Overall the home is great. I have been pleased with all the customer service I have received. The appliances are standard which is fine they do the job

I know there are several builders here in Florida but my heart went with Lennar. I saw several homes while looking but when I saw this community and walked in my house I knew in my heat it was the one for me. The process from start to finish was unbelievable each person from Anna to my amazing loan officer Jon was by far the most professional and experienced people to work with. I don’t think you can work with a better company with no hassles they respond quickly and clarify each detail needed to get the home buying process done. I would buy from Lennar again and again there’re professional and the homes are strong and of excellent quality.l And my dog loves how big it is to run around. ... More

We were doing a 1031 exchange which amounted to 80% of the value of our condo but we were asked for so many documents that was just way too time consuming to submit, especially getting records for 8 different businesses. We were obviously qualified but they kept on asking for more and on the 11th hour we decided to pay the balance in cash. Fortunately, we had the funds, but what about others that are being harassed because the decision maker sitting behind the desk does not have any common sense at all?.

The process was easy. All the people were very nice. Overall the house is good. Quikly built. Some issue and a lot of things not included which is what krpt the price down.

home is fine, quality is pretty good. Not putting in toilet paper holders, towel racks, seems cheap. They should do that. When you spend $500,000 on a property , this should be in. Issue with the floor in the kitchen and with my bathroom floor by the shower as well. Waiting for them to get back to me to fix. I have been waiting.

The aboslute worst Mortgae experience in my 76 years. I have owned and applied for mortgages on 9 homes. This company does not know what they are doing. Buyer beware... I have an 844 credit score, and hundreds of thousands in liquid assets and the Mortgage "agents" made the process extremely time consuming and painful...Asking for the same documentation MULTIPLE TIMES...Potential buyers seek your mortgage elsewhere!!!~

Dominique was amazing! She helped us through the process of purchasing our home. Our celebration review was excellent as well with Lennar(can’t not recall the gentleman’s name but he was great!)

María was great. The communication throughout the entire process was the best. She always replied in a timely manner. Even after the sale she continues to answer any question I have. She is very knowledgeable and professional I love this new community very bicycle and walking friendly with nice sidewalks new pool coming soon. Thank you Maria

I recently purchased a home with Lennar, and overall my experience was pretty lukewarm. Despite being the buyer, there was little flexibility on the timeline, even when I had legitimate scheduling conflicts that prevented me from attending key events. I was able to move one of the events, but afterward, my homebuyer concierge, Lohana, completely stopped responding to my questions and concerns, which was frustrating and left me feeling unsupported during an important process. As for the home itself, the quality and workmanship were about what I expected from Lennar, which unfortunately means subpar. Nothing went terribly wrong, but nothing really stood out as excellent either. Overall, the process felt more transactional than customer-focused. If you’re considering buying with Lennar, just be prepared for a rigid process and average build quality. ... More

The experience was seamless, from my initial meeting with Rebecca to my constant communication with John and Heather, I couldn't have asked for a better team of people to walk me through this experience!

Overall we are happy with our new home.

Overall quality of the home is acceptable. However, the landscaping crew did absolutely nothing to grade the yard evenly before laying grass. Yard is filled with dips, ditches and high spots or concrete chunks. Multiple ankle and knee twists/sprains have already occurred in 3 weeks. Lennar partnered with an HoA that partnered with and internet provider that forces the Internet provider upon the entire 4000 home subdivision. Sales person was good. Mortgage representative was fantastic. Warranty review specialist was fine. Construction manager was good.
