Good follow up from buider

This is a great starter home for me and I was delivered what i expected. The home construction could be a little better as i faced issues in my first week at my new home but i was really impressed with the service as they were able to get it fixed pretty soon. I would definitely recommend Lennar to any new home buyers.

My new home is wonderful-it’s the perfect size and has an open floor plan, garage, fireplace, bright white kitchen and wood floors -the non-negotiables in my search for a new home. My only disappointment was that items received by owners who purchased just months before me were removed from my “package”. Most of those were present in the model home, but I was aware of the take backs prior to my purchase. There are no options available which raised my cost (after closing) such as hardwood throughout, closet organizers, upgraded appliances, and rear patio. Buying the home was easy and quick. Some issues but they are being taken care of.

My experience every time I visited the community offices to know the models and the community was always phenomenal, Jamie was very nice and knowledgeable. My experience with Lennar mortgage was average, communication was an issue. When I received the home, Alex was fantastic, kind, empathetic and knowledgeable.

Buying from Lennar has been a positive experience. The design is modern, functional and lots of space. If I was to suggest any improvement it will be the following: better quality appliance package, go the extra mile and finish the garage, change paint supplier and last offer the option of installing blinds.

Lennar home buying overall experience was great with minus one star. Positive: excellent, trustworthy sales team; weekly photo/video updates were very helpful; smooth communication with construction team (prior to closing only); easy and clear closing process; good material for the price. Negative: several outstanding issues (due to supply chain issues, eg windows, window screens, bathroom mirrors) are still not resolved 6 weeks after the closing (still not know when they are fixed); without reminder from the buyer, no proactive communication from construction team After the closing. The experince was good everybody was helpful

Cheryl was a wonderful agent to work with and kept the flow of information with updates current and made the purchasing experience easy. The Lennar staff tries their best to respond in a timely fashion however some of their suppliers are not as responsive.

Buying experience was good but we had few issues in the buying process. Provided different appliances to each individuals. Few got the updated ones. Responsiveness to issues in the house is slow

So far a good experience, have some issues that I am being assisted. No upgrades available.

We absolutely love our new home and Lennar made the homebuying experience smooth and easy. However, we have had more issues than we would have liked in our first few months in the home. Our hot water heater did not work when we moved in, which left us with no hot water for approx. a week until the issue was resolved. The water lines connecting into our washing machine were also switched - another week or so to get that fixed. Now we are having an issue with our dishwasher and so far have not made any progress toward resolution despite multiple phones calls and requests. Hoping that the issues stop soon and we can enjoy our home, but it has been stressful thus far and we haven't received a lot of support in getting things resolved timely. ... More

Low quality building materials have presented numerous issues that could not be addressed until the home was lived in. I’m not confident in the longevity of the items used. Ease of closing and the responsive team are the only two reasons this isn’t a 1-2 star rating.

Overall good as of now but I think quality wise we have to compromise

Good Builder to work with. Some issues with the home at signing but they are fairly timely with there response to issues. Be warned the interim HOA board set up prior to being handed over to the community are terrible, non-responsive and flexible with the needs of the initial homeowners who move in during during development construction phase.

Unhappy with grading and finishing yard work

For the price you pay, the quality of the work and materials used are very poor. While their ticket opening system is very easy to use, getting the issues addressed is a whole other matter. Service is extremely slow...if at all. Inspect your house very carefully before you sign anything.

The only issues I had with the complete experience was with the mortgage people and their under writers. The mortgage staff were not that responsive and could have cost me a lot extra money by not paying attention to the market and how the interest rate was going up. I would hope that their job was to help people get the best rate and to watch what was happening and advise the buyer to lock in sooner then they did. The sales team and all the construction managers who work on the site have been excellent and are a pleasure to work with.

I have had a lot of problems with this new house and feel i was overcharged compared to my neighbors. The finish work is not good, and appliances are very cheap.

1. Stone on front of home had to be replaced- poor workmanship. 2. Horrendous spackling job in the garage, stairway and storage room. 3. Key to the home does not work in the lock of the door to the house through the garage. 7 weeks later and we still do not have the proper key, which is on order. 4. Stain on front cement porch -still no solution for removal. 5. LENNAR mortgage process was a nightmare. It should be streamlined- instead it is very time- consuming and difficult to navigate. There are too many people involved. There should be one contact person for the whole process to track progress and avoid requests for duplicate information. ... More
