We bought the home in March 2021 and have flooring and wall paint issues at many places in the home. We filed work orders and when it's time for work orders to expire, management asked me to re open work orders with new expiry date. We are fine if you want more time but it has been 2 months now nobody is processing work orders. At least give the full 1 year support guys. Wifi is not working above 2nd floors at all. Bathroom Shower rod fell off. Wooden flooring came out. Paint is getting chipped off. Living room washroom door lock is not working. Lights panels on the ceiling coming off. ...

Weird customer service experience with Lennar. Seems like they are rushing through closings and leaving too many outstanding items to be fixed after I moved in. House is nice and I’m happy I bought it but Lennar as a company has not impressed me at all.. quite the opposite.

We have no cable like we were promised they never ran wires in the wall. They were not truthful to us one showing us through the house . Wi-Fi is very weak. Hard to speak on your cell phone because of that problem that they refuse to address.

Lennar will make you feel great upon buying your home and they’ll offer a one year warranty on any defect. Initially, Lennar will be responsive to warranty requests. However, it comes with a catch. You’ll quickly realize the warranty is offered because Lennar is aware of the poor workmanship and materials that go in to their homes. After a couple months, customer care will abandon you as they move on to other new homes. As of today, we have a dead tree and shrubs in the front yard that Lennar planted and has not addressed. We have weeds, straw, and plastic netting in the backyard that I ...

Waterside Lennar Delaware Unit in Bensalem

Homebuying process was simple if somewhat rushed. The biggest issue is the lack of noise abatement between our home and the home below us. We can hear every footstep from the unit below us. This is unacceptable and Lennar does not seem to care since we now own it.

Great House, Rough Process

The house itself is in great condition now; unfortunately, our experience both before and after closing, including the overall quality/cleanliness of the house at turnover, was quite poor. Specifically, we were made offers by Sales staff that were not honored, were treated rudely and pressured by Mortgage under staff, had a tremendously difficult time with Construction's completion of final punch prior to closing, and were met with extremely poor communication and follow up regarding outstanding items after closing. Thankfully, once the issues were elevated within Lennar, all outstanding ...

ONLY Recommend for good build quality and post work request support. Starting with sales person placed at on-site offices. They don't disclose things before hand clearly. No clear communication on what you WILL GET in your home vs what you WILL NOT. In our multiple conversations, never disclosed what should we get as per your booked home.

We unfortunately have had on-going issues such as a main shower water leak and a secondary bathroom exhaust fan leak that have yet to fixed - almost two months now since we moved in! We will not shower in the main bathroom because of the large amount of water that will leak onto the floor after showering. All together we have had about 15 service requests, many of which have been fixed. However, some have not been to date. The quality of work/attention to detail is not apparent in many parts of our house. In fact, our front porch had to be resurfaced due to staining throughout the whole ...

I've been in my home of just about 6 weeks and just got the keys to my mailbox 2 weeks ago after much effort on my part. My grass is dying along the edge and more brown/ gray spots are developing. Poor Construction Management, Follow-up, and Resolution

We previously build a new construction home with another builder a few years ago so we were familiar with the overall process heading in. Our Lennar sales experience was good, but when it came to the construction team it was a different story. The primary construction manager that we were assigned, house issues / items aside, was very rude and unprofessional. This was very disappointing - especially considering customers are spending $800k. The quality of the material is okay, but the craftsmanship and installation is poor and careless. Felt like we had to fight, argue, and prove a point to ...

Once the agreement was signed it has been nothing but a hassle with Lennar. Homes are delivered with a “it’s good enough” standard. Communication is close to nonexistent and it’s a tough and long process to get them to do anything. I guess they are hoping people would give up and deal with things. Lennar is all about the quick turnover and sales. Not quality and customer service. Won’t recommend or buy a Lennar home ever again.

Not flexible to any design changes. Every house is built to existing plans which cannot be changed anywhere. You must ask which plan has most of the features you want and go with it realizing you are missing a couple of features you want. Poor aspects of design and workmanship can be easily identified. The finishing of the baseboards, window sills, and doors were so bad we made them do over. The repainting the trim was worse than the original so we ended up sanding everything down and we repainted ourselves. All door casings were so close to the door frames that the tongue of the door latch ...

The overall buying process was relatively simple. The complexity comes when the workmanship and quality comes into play. Lack of attention to detail - not a lot of pride in workmanship. Outstanding issues from Settlement are taking months to get resolved. I'm hearing the same thing from other home owners as well. If you are able, I'd recommend not completing settlement until the issues are resolved unless you want workers in and out of your house for months.

Lennar responded:

The purchase and mortgage process was quick, efficient, and Scott walked us through the mortgage process step by step. The walk through was organized, but a lot of "blue tape” areas were listed. Unfortunately, at the closing most of these blue tape areas were not addressed. We were led to believe they would be fixed while we signed our closing documents. Three months later, blue tape items are still not addressed. Living in the house, we have noticed there are a lot of deficiencies with the quality and finishing of construction. It has been a long and ongoing struggle to work with Lennar to ...

Sales Team was great, transparent and enthusiastic through out the purchase process. However, construction team (Kyle) was pathetic and unprofessional. Issues from first walk through are still open even after 4.5 months from closing! Hundreds of follow-ups needed to get issues fixed whatever are fixed till date. The home buying process was a good experience aside for the misinformation on certain processes. My biggest issue is the quality of the build itself. The attention to detail and overall workmanship is terrible. All the issues pointed out at the walk through were not taken care of by the time signing came along. At signing I was told this would be handled and no one ever came back to fix anything. The floors started splitting and the excuse I get is that it’s the change in temperature. There are many areas in the dry wall where holes and gashes were left along with the cabinets in the ...
