We purchased a townhome from Lennar. We're very pleased with the quality of the construction, the professionalism of every staff person we have come in contact with, and their attentiveness to ensure that everything and every detail is covered and we're pleased. Their communication is pure excellence.

Our buying process went smoothly. Although, some areas of building process was poorly constructed and overlooked. Currently dealing with a warranty service request issue that shouldn't have been an issue in a brand new house.

For what they charge for the homes, materials used should be first grad lumber.. Measurements from the beginning should be exact. When complaints are made excuses should never be made on why things are not as they should be . Lennar only wants to make money, not build excellent homes.

As a Customer, I was totally reliant on Lennar and ***** which I'm very grateful for. Because I was in NY trying to get my home and that time go on the Market. The timelines was extremely important on both sides. And in the end it worked out.

First thing was over a $5 dollar part, as not both cat 6 are operational, only need a small extension which I found on amazon for a pack of 3 for $5. Second was when I left closing the person gave me a nice and neat folder and went over the utilities that I have 3 days to take over, one of which was the trash. I called and setup which was a listed on the sheet that was provided by during closing. Come to find out that it was the wrong company, which I had to inquire about, and now I have to pay, and everyone at Lennar and Butler are pointing the fingers at each other, I am caught up in the middle, with the last contact information I got was "Talk to our ***** dept., you can find the information yourself". ... Need more agents. We had an appointment at 11am and we're ready to a down payment but the only one in the office was one agent. There was two couples ahead us and more walking in. The agent who was ours sent us on our way to review the houses again as he was by himself. Came back 90 minutes later only to be seated in an office to wait. At 4pm we were still waiting for our agent only to observe the second agent arrive with another couple and an outside agent. Shortly there after our agent came in to inform us that if we were looking at two particular house they were off the market as the second, late agent had just taken their down payment. Needless to say I was not happy as one of these homes we were looking to buy. At 415pm our agent got an earful from me. In the end we were sent back out to look at other homes and were assured he would make some calls and give us the best deal possible. Well we did and picked out a home that was much more expensive and in a better location. The agent held true to his word and got us a great price and then asked us to make an offer on that price. First off I've purchased three homes from Lennar in the past three years with two of them in the same development! First home was in phase 1 and our current home is in phase 7. Material quality has taken a nose drive especially with their cabinets and thickness of the quartz in the bathrooms. Our sales guy, Karl, did an excellent job. Construction managers here are over worked with each one covering at times over 30 homes. Lennar responds to must issues quickly to schedule trades out to fix issues. Typical with any non custom builder, they are cutting quality for cheaper materials and since Lennar is considered a production builder they are always looking for something cheaper in increase their margins. ... I love the house and the LVP, gourmet kitchen and large master bathroom.

The builder was very responsive. My loan package through Lennar wasn’t provided in a timely manner. The 3-4 hour delay impacted my buying experience. Within 1 month, I also had to make a warranty claim for a Sod repair.

The purchasing of our home was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my whole life,something that should have been enjoyable was absolutely terrible.Our builders were our only happinesses throughout the whole process.

This is my first new home experience. The Lennar salesman was so helpful with the process of buying my home. Once I purchased the home the builder and the customer care consultant made time to explain the general information on the home. Going through the home to make sure everything went smoothly. Any concerns were addressed immediately. What a wonderful company to work with.

The ladies who helped me all the way through the process of buying my home are wonderful working women who have a great understanding of what to do. You could call them at anytime or if they weren’t available at that time, they’d called you back. They worked with me until the end and were available to continue to answer any questions I had after the closing. Ladies again I want to thank you for all your services with helping me through this process. Your guidances are greatly appreciated.

Lennar has the best floor plans of all builders that we saw in the area. Watching our 3rd Lennar home to completion very pleased with the process.

I don't know where to begin. Start to finish this has been the worst experience I have had in building/buying a home. We were left in the dark pretty much the entire process. All the people with this company do is put out fires. If you aren't relentless in calling and pressing for answers you will be forgotten. They are too busy to build any home, or give any customer experience of any quality. They will have to resend you documents to sign over and over because of simple mistakes like correct address or house number. This resending of documents lasted till we were sitting at the closing table as they made a mistake and attorney had to correct them. I didn't even know what my monthly payment was until I sat down to sign the closing docs. Then you have the builders who will make you all kinds of promises they have no way or intention of ever keeping. They will put you off and say just file a warranty claim after closing they will take care of it. NO they won't. They will be quick and courteous each and every time they deny your claim. In my case I had my new construction home inspected by a 3rd party before closing, he found 3 major 6 medium and 7 minor issues on a home Lennar had supposedly inspected and signed off as ready to go. Understand that it's not the people who work for Lennar that are the issue, it's the overall business itself and they are stuck trying to survive in it. ... More

The overall experience was great, however your sales person Paul did not follow through on any promises. After 4 emails, several calls and texts I finally gave up. Horrible customer service.
