Purchasing a new home from Lennar was a very easy experience. My new home is beautiful. Once I moved into my new house, I found so many problems. I have had light fixtures falling out on the ceiling, the paint on the doors coming off, a cabinet door falling off, and many other problems. I do have to give Lennar credit for addressing these problems. If you have a problem, you report it to Lennar through a website. It is like filling out a ticket for your problem. The purchasing process of buying my home was smooth and easy. Working with the loan processors proved to be remarkably easy, even with the VA involved). Had to close remotely (12 May 22). House keys "got lost" between the closing coordinator and Butler & College. Closing coordinator (Erika) proved to be a waste of time. Alot of finger pointing between Erika and Butler & College. Closing/Escrow Manager (Brittney) joins conversation and appears helpful. Statements surmised to resolve situation in 3 days (email dated 17 May22). In the initial part of the experience, Julie was great and helpful. We were able to select the floor plan and model we wanted in a time frame that worked for us. In the middle/financing part, we became exhausted. We completed the loan application by the first of the year, and the house was originally set to close the last of February. The loan team waited until February to start reaching out about missing documents and application discrepancies. Love the house, but when I requested a pretty serious heating issue be addressed, there was no sense of urgency, to the point where the issue is still not resolved and it's been almost 2 months. Also noticed a crack in the tile the day we closed in December and the Crack has not been fixed. Had we not put tape over it, someone else besides me would've gotten cut .

The project manager and after close the warranty manager for my home have been extremely helpful at resolving any issues. There's a lot of new technology and they've taken the time to walk me through everything and even followed up to make sure everything was still functioning as excpeted.

The work I asked to have corrected on my house was not done. It was painted over and that was how they corrected it. Please don't schedule final inspection 2vhours before closing.

Get your own real estate agent, don’t just use the provided Lennar agent. Our agent was able to ask questions and provide information that we never would have thought of. Lennar is like any big business, they’re looking out for themselves. The Lennar agent didn’t even come to our closing. We l’ve had plumbing issues due to a pipe that was damaged prior to our purchase and 2 out of 3 of Lennar’s warranty people haven’t all been great to work with. It just depends on who you get. The houses are nice, as is our neighborhood, but you need to make sure your stay on top of things.

Generally good. There was a lot of attention leading up to the purchase but after that not so much. The workmanship and attention to detail is ok. The team could do better with quality control. Lots of little details missed. For instance there are pencil marks on nearly every corner and on the floor where trim work meets. A drawer front in the kitchen was damaged and JD said he would replace it- that has been nearly 2 months ago, shower glass has flaws that should have been pickup by the build team and replaced. Again I feel it has been all about getting the house closed.

Listen, Lennar gets a lot of crap, but honestly it just is what it is. They crank out homes and source the most affordable materials they can within code for your State, County, City and then they offer you a home at some of the best price per square foot you’re going to find. When you pay bottom dollar for your home, you can’t expect everything to be top dollar quality. You just have to accept what you’re buying when you buy it and do everything you can to make sure your home is inspected a couple of times within your 12 month warranty. At our pre closing walk thru, we met with the construction manager and listed a number of things that needed attention. On the day of closing, we were told our construction manger had quit and a new man was on the job. There was a pile of debris still in the driveway and the yard was full of trash. The punch list hadn't been completed or addressed properly. By the time we arrived with the movers, the debris in the driveway was gone but the yard was still a mess. We have had issues. Our foundation has sink spots so they are having to pull up our floor and pour concrete. Drywall work is also done poorly. I haven’t been too happy with how poorly some of the work was done. We had our own inspection done and are still waiting on some of the items to be fixed. We closed late Feb.

We have asked multiple times for help fixing our yard and have been ignored constantly. When we closed on our home we were told that if our yard needed to be re-sodded then they would take care of it since it was January when they laid it initially. Since then, we have asked for help and have not heard from anyone. They told my husband that the task was “too labor intensive” for them to do, so my husband ripped out the old sod himself to help speed up the process. unfortunately not all the holes needed to hang the hurricane shutters were not drilled. wirering for "smart house" didn't match what AT&T require wirering for microwave oven was not connected concrete mix used in garage and front porch crumbles easily

Overall, it was an OK. Experience would’ve liked to a couple of more home choices and to have a screened in patio, which I see they are doing on all the homes that they are building now and the ones that were previously built. I talked to several people, and they all have screened only a couple had to put them in themselves And the street specially in South Carolina with all the bugs

Purchased our brand new Lennar home 2 months ago. Our new home is beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for until….. After being in the home for a week we noticed the A/C was having issues keeping The house cool. After several warranty calls/visits the issue is still not resolved.
