The floorplan is excellent and has everything I need. The quality of workmanship is okay but not exceptional. They have responded very well with any of my concerns or issues.

well the quality of home is good but NOT great hat carries Lennar and signifies name. also responsiveness towards issues report after moving is pathetic .

The Lennar sales rep that we had gave off "manager's son" vibes. He was never at work so we never met him and every time we called he was doing some not work related activity during work hours. He got extremely frustrated with us when we took a few extra hours to review the one-sided sales contract and then took as long as he please because he was "driving horses down to Georgia." No sensitivity to the fact that we had concerns and were first-time homebuyers. Every time he called our phone, I got nerves in my stomach because he always felt like the villain in our story. The inspection was a joke. The gentleman was very nice and patient throughout the walkthrough but he made a lot of promises and kept none. When we did the final walkthrough, the house basically looked exactly as it did before the initial walkthrough. He had a lot of excuses and a lot of "you could get that stain out if you sand it down" type suggestions. We were left with the unfortunate situation that a lot of buyers are left with where you either delay closing and your movers and all the other plans you have, or you accept the house even with all it's faults. I have heard of cabinets falling off the walls of neighbors and every contractor we have had come try to fix a gap in our screened-in porch says they can't do anything about it. So we have constant bugs in our screened-in porch. Also, every single rubbing up against the wall will leave mark much more profound than it should. The paint is SUPER low quality and it shows. They also have no intention of updating their closing documents. For example, they gave us a sheet that said they would be giving us a one-time paint and drywall coupon that we could cash in within the first year to take care of nail-pops and other things like that. When I reached out to the maintenance team to inquire about the coupon I did not receive yet, they said they were no longer honoring that coupon. Super disappointing and sketchy. They also do super sketchy things when it comes to HOA employment to try to keep control from the owners as long as possible. Buying from Lennar will never leave a good taste in your mouth. They are a large builder and you are just a speck on their earnings report and you will like such. I know sometimes you fall in love with a house and you just have to make moves but having gone through the experience, I recommend watches the video warnings online about Lennar and heeding them. Found a house almost ready to move in. Able to finalize and close in two weeks.

After a year and a half in real estate limbo, I found Horizon! From contract to closing was a hectic month, but was smoothly orchestrated by the Lennar team. Most appreciative for al who had a part in ths journey!

Purchasing a home was easy and on time. Sales staff were very nice. Construction Manager was very knowledgeable and answered questions quickly

The home buyer process is great. The workmanship is not up to par. We just had to SAND and repaint the entire interior of the house. Scraping glue and tile mastic off the bath floors. I put in a request last week about the lawn, nothing but weeds, standing water problems in between the houses, erosion at the corner of the slab and no AC flow in the MBR closet. And, I haven’t had anyone contact me about those issues.

Good experience. I just wish there was more communication on status of process. Need better quality control of homes. Felt the need to inspect every week to make sure there weren't oversights. Without a third party inspection many issues would have occurred.

Our home buying experience was not stressful. We did a complete walk through a couple of weeks before closing and then a final check the morning before we closed. Any items that needed to be addressed after closing were handled in a very timely manner.

Quality of the home is great. Open floor plan with tons of windows for natural light. The high quality countertops and floorplan design is ideal for any new home buyer.

My experience has been overall positive and I’m happy with my home. I’ve had other builder experiences with past homes and Lennar has been above those. They strive to ensure you’re happy and I was impressed with my closing to an extent. They made some minor adjustments day of closing to my cabinet that was too low for my fridge. Several jobs were not completed in which I was promised completion after closing for which no one came back. For the most part, I’m satisfied with my purchase and going with Lennar as I’ve found the craftsmanship for my neighborhood was above others in the area. I purchased in Carnes Crossroads in Summerville, SC and the neighborhood stands out as one of the top locations for the area. My realtor did a great job helping me keep the contractor on schedule and ensuring most items were completed prior to closing. My recommendation would be not to fall to the peer pressure of closing with items left to do. They will drop you like a bad habit once you close so be ready for that. ... More

Very pleased with our house purchase from Lennar. The buying process was easy and straightforward. They don't let you customize anything really, but that's a good thing for me. There were several items brought up during the final walkthrough that were not fixed as requested (even though the construction manager tried to convince otherwise), but they have been worked on after the closing. Overall, I would recommend Lennar for others looking to buy a new construction.

Overall the homebuying was ok. The final walkthrough was a bit unorganized as there were some things that were not quality work and expected much more from buying a new build. I’ve had several other issues that I’ve had to submit warranty claims. They are responsive but it seems to be challenging to get the work done. Buyers just beware that it is not an overly smooth process.

There are several things that I feel like could have made our experience in building with Lennar so much better and wouldn’t in my opinion have been all that hard to accommodate. For instance we weren’t allowed to change anything about the options in the house and they hadn’t even broke ground yet. We asked to be given color options for the exterior color and was denied even a set option of colors, we were denied being able to add a few outlets in the pantry, we were denied option of what type of paint(instead of using the garbage flat paint). The reason was they already had everything set so no changes could be met. But when they changed the hallway closet to be much smaller than the closet in the model well they could tell me why it was different(which took away about 3 feet of depth in the hallway closet). Our sod was dead when we moved in but I will give them praise because they did make that right and with a pretty quick turnaround time. But we also have common are and an easement that I have been trying to get fixed for some time now with no luck. We do love our house but there are things that could have made the experience much much better. ... More

My husband and I had been sharing our concerns to the building team and even the Lennar Realtor . Closing date several items were still not complete and the house was not even power washed. the upstairs porch was dirty. Until now they kept saying they are coming to address this issues and had not been here yet. We closed in April

The first home we were purchasing there was a mistake on the paperwork and they wouldn’t do anything about it. So we lost the house and they were nice enough to transfer our money to the new home but they failed to tell us that the property was not level and only that it was a little larger and that they would not do anything about it. Then when we had the first walk through we told them about some items and they told us they would have them fixed by the time the final inspection was complete but they lied about it and told us they had them fixed and or replaced but they lied to us again. Know that we are in the house and we have some issues they said they would fix them and they made an appointment but no one showed up and they were checking on them. ... More

We have had a few problems with baseboards and floors but they have come to fix everything very quickly and professionally

I am sorry but this house was put together way too quick where the quality of the work was less than professional. To have my Construction Supervisor ignore my realtor and myself with question speaks volumes after the closing. I have had great luck with the warranty representative helping me remedy the issues I have encountered in the house along with workers who are part of the repairs. I have been here over a month and still getting my list of issues taken care of.

We are very happy with our last home purchase. Our salesperson Karl, our Customer Service rep Isaiah who is absolutely the best and Missy our home construction contact were very communicative, attentive and resolved problems. The quality of the home is ok, homes sat for a while awaiting inspection due to the heavy building in the area. It's a stick home and you have very little or no options, you get what you get that is on that plot. Great open design and very accomodating for 55 over. They have a tremendous amount of activities and clubs and can't wait for the amenity center to be built. In today's environment the homes are priced competitively and they give you a nice product but we have had better experiences with building up north. 1. Door strike on front door is missing. 2. Baseboard trim gaping from the wall in many places. 3. Incorrect emergency contact number. 4. Stairwell had to be repainted 5 times (orange peel and runs) at our insistence 5. At final walk through windows we’re still grimy. 6. Ant infestation in house. 7. Furnace vent crooked above roofline. 8. Wood exposed around outside of former windows. 9. Concrete poured down valve box to fire hydrant.
