The quality of workmanship exhibited by the "trades" who worked on our home was NOT of a level I expected from a company like Lennar. There did not appear to be adequate/consistent on site supervision/control by the subcontractors utilized in the construction process. While there was a Lennar representative tasked with overseeing the various phases of construction; it appears he had little or no authority to enforce the correction of any discrepancies identified during his site inspections. Our closing was delayed by over a week due to the lack of attention on the part of a sub to a MAJOR ...

Would like to have seen better material in the trim work and carpeting and better quality with the drywall. Also, they're is 0 flexibility when you come into an on process home.

During our home buying process we were met with nothing but difficulties in communication. My wife was due to deliver our first child and we needed the closing date moved to a later date. Every request was denied. Only after reminding the sales team of federal protections around medical conditions did they move the date….. one week back. During the walk-through, we found many issues with Sheetrock finish work, and even one wall was 4 inches out of plumb. The work quality on the construction displays the lack of care from the builders. After one full month of being in the home we have found ...

Looks great but finish isn’t good

House looks great. Quality lacks in many aspects from poor electrical wiring, poor workmanship for ejecutivas outlets, poor workmanship for nailing especially in garage, painting lacks quality, and so on. Then to get things fixed you wait for several weeks, if they get fixed at all. You also get offered things in the community that never happen. Just don’t believe what Lennar states.

We do love our new home. However, the communication during the build process was less than ideal. And, when closing day came, we never received a proper walk through or warranty explanation. The Contractors were here and the Lead was here but they were too busy trying to finish the house that they forgot to actually speak to us. We still have a few outstanding issues. Our current "Director of Construction" has been by the house to see what he can do to finish up. Hopefully this works... I do have an issue with the driveway and the area between the garage and the house. - The ...

The house is very nice and overall has good craftsmanship, that said, I think it is over priced. The buying process was very painful and the sales staff disappear as soon as you are under contract. Good luck getting any issues addressed after closing.

Poor quality of materials and workmanship

Quality of materials and workmanship is subpar. There seems little quality control at all stages of the building process. The subcontractors did a poor job and no one called them on it or made them fix it before closing. The closing punch list disappeared after closing day. For example…..Driveway (cement) is two toned because they cracked it and just patched it. Our walkway (cement) is all spotted because they poured it in heavy rain. Now Lennar says it’s not under warranty immediately after closing. We ran two months behind schedule. That is consistent throughout our neighborhood. Other ...

If you want a quick build with tons of issues and half butt work? Go with Lennar! Fit and finish is embarrassingly bad. Having Lennar fix the grout in the master because the workers stained it with moody shoes. At first they weren’t going to fix but thank God for the amazing people in warrenty. That’s about all that’s good with Lennar is their warranty department. Guess they needed a good one with all the issues they have. Walls aren’t straight, base boards are wavy and/or chipped with paint just put over top, paint everywhere on everything. Looks like a Jackson Pollock painting until I had ...

Alot of things went wrong during the move in process like no mail boxes were established for almost a month and once our mailboxes were assigned the only communication was made on facebook? this is a retirement community and many do not have social media accts the work in the house is sloppy due to timeframes set forth

Experience with sales was great. Our construction manager below average. Home wasn’t ready for our New Home Orientation with 4 painters working and sanding dust everywhere made finding issues next to impossible. Our experience with Customer Care so far has been poor.

The loan officers and sales representatives were very helpful. The second construction manager, Chris, DID NOT follow through on the items he promised would be fixed and they still are not fixed. This puts unnecessary stress on the buyer.

Bad bad bad. Issues with cement and grading of property. I can’t even walk between my house and neighbors. I lost a sneaker in the mud and lawn mower gets stuck. This was brought up at the last walkthrough and said it would be addressed. Never was and now it might cost me thousands to make right. I have 8 kids that are all adults and home buying. I have told them all to look elsewhere

The overall quality of the workmanship and warranty repairs are a joke. Dealing with the constant repairs and all too familiar "no call no shows" are a full time job. I've lost count of the number of repair tickets I submitted and I've burned through all of my vacation time rescheduling appointments because it is almost guaranteed that there's going to be a no show. I regret this purchase and I will never purchase another Lennar.

Let’s start off with the good. Jennifer in the sales team, was great to work with. Everything else has not been a good experience. The craftsmanship of the house is not of the quality you would expect from Lennar or any home builder. There are so many issues with the home. Once we submit a ticket the team try and take the easy way out of fixing the problem and then it looks worse than it did originally. The team have to fix it numerous times and it fix is not of the quality you would want for a brand new home. Another issue is the lack of responsiveness to getting open tickets done. We have ...

The builders were great, the mortgage people were great but the initial sales rep, Andy, was a pain to work with making the overall experience terrible. I had to run down answers to my questions on the status of my house/lot several times and when questioning what the hold up was I was only ever told no updates. For a first time home buying experience it was pretty terrible.
