Couldn’t be happier with our neighbors but be very careful and cautious when dealing with Lennar. Have your “I’d” dotted and “t’s” crosses with EVERYTHING!! Make sure to get it in writing because they will change their stories in everything that they verbalize to you

Lennar used pressure sales techniques - it was clear very early on in the process that it was about moving product for them - they cared very little about whether the buyer was having a positive experience. they approached each piece of the buying process as " do it now or we will just replace you with the next buyer" at one point they sent over a 45 pg document at 11;30pm on a Sunday night and expected it signed by 9am the next morning - classless, ruthless & purely profit motivated

We have been in our home for 6 months now and it still is not complete. We should not have closed but we trusted that they would complete items on the list in a timely manner. I would run far, far away from Lennar.

The "Lennar Experience" is an absolute joke. I knew what I was getting into with a cookie cutter new build but I was not expecting the process and employees to be the worst part of the whole experience. If I could do it again I would run away. Our CM, Tate, was an absolute disaster and was more worried telling me about some facebook group that complains about him then actually fixing problems we pointed out at 3 different walk throughs. Only person that was phenomenal was the loan officer, Amy, her response to all questions and all concerns were answered promptly as far as construction and sales. Their attention and response was absolutely horrifying and I would never purchase a home from Leonard again, nor would I recommend anyone to my family or my s purchase from Lennar

If you want a Brand new house that you have to fix, buy a Lennar Home. Outside of the lack of craftsmanship throughout the home and garage, there was very little oversight on the contractors during the building process. We would be told that certain things were being done on the home and then find out that nothing had been worked on in weeks. Our home sat for 12 weeks during the inspection process and was failing inspection due to the issues that were there from the initial inspection. So not sure where to start. Bought house with down payment, Lennar waited 3 months to start building, we went through 3 Construction managers, the 3rd one quit 2 weeks after we closed. Craftmanship is awful!! walls are wavy, paint is extremely cheap. Calking throughout home is bad. DO NOT BUY LENNAR HOMES. When we did our walk through we found issues, they told us that these issues would not hold off closing, I asked for all issues to be taken care of prior to closing. Poor workmanship, over-promised and under-delivered. Needs to slow down the build process and monitor progress at all stages. Quality issues range from driveway, framing, drywall, paint, flooring, electrical, and air conditioning.

This was the absolute worst homebuying experience my husband and I have ever had. Please make note that this was the experience with Lennar mortgage. And does not reflect Lennar office and sales I counted 75 email communications from eight different people during the whole course of our mortgage experience. I’ll never buy a lennar home again

We purchased a home a few months ago. With some items not finished, but we could longer be in rental so we’re in a bad situation after our house sat for about 3-4 months with minimal to no work done. We closed 3 months late. We still are living in a house with unfinished items and poor quality workmanship. Then we are constantly flat out lied to through out the entire build process and now trying to get warranty issues addressed. My tubs all have rust rings in them and had them at time of closing. Lennar build quality is substandard

My previous review was removed by the site owner and it didn't even provide specific detail. If you'd like a first time quality (not 4th time quality) and a well built home, look for another builder. I would never buy from Lennar again nor recommend them to anyone.

The entire process has been a headache purchasing this home. Issues that arose with my inspector were not properly fixed before closing and is still something I am fighting Lennar with. They are quick to respond to issues but then “complete” them in the portal when it truly has not been fixed. I’m spending close to half a million dollars on this home and I’m getting work that is worse than my 250k DR Horton home. I was lied about being able to back out of the deal if I didn’t feel comfortable, Lennar representatives threatened me with legal action and withholding my deposit if I backed out of a home that was of terrible quality and the worst workmanship I’ve ever seen in a new build.
