Horrific Not Worth the Price

Horrific! Nothing about Lennar says professionalism. Poor craftsmanship and poor customer service. Our new home has more issues than a fifty year old home. We basically had to do our CM’s job because he didn’t. Even the closing was a joke! What should have been a happy day was a cluster mess our house was filthy when we closed and we had over a 100 punch list items and not minor issues. We couldn’t even move in the first week we closed because our CM kept promising things would be done prior to closing - lies all lies some issues had been outstanding since pre drywall and he waited until the ...

Shockingly Poor Workmanship + Lazy and Unprofessional Customer Service

This was and continues to be a bad experience. The construction quality is embarasingly bad. The customer services is unprofessional and helpful. Lennar "takes the money and runs".

We were given the opportunity to "punchlist" the home and many of the items were either unaddressed or the tape marks remained after we moved in. The craftsmanship was really poor, as well as the quality of materials. The project superintendent talked down to all of us on the buyer side, including arguing over a clear code violation until it had to be escalated above his head. It was very clear that the priority was speed to market and margin over any sort of pride in their work or customer satisfaction.

They Do Not Care

Has been almost two months and I still have issues not fixed with little communication. Finishing touches around the house were terrible. House was not cleaned prior to closing. Overall nightmare trying to actually make this house a home.

Avoid Lennar. The house is still a construction zone 5 months after closing and follow up has been terrible. I will never buy another Lennar home.

Horrible Closing Experience (Lennar Mortgage) and unfinished house.

After being closed for 5 months, one of our bathrooms still is not functional. The diverter valve which controls the flow of water between the tub and shower head was installed upside down which causes water to flow from both the shower head and tub faucet simultaneously. Weather stripping is still missing on the rear door (it was never installed). The list goes on and on. I would never recommend Lennar as a builder and would certainly never recommend using their mortgage service.

They are not trustworthy. They tell you they will finish items and then do not. They want to take your money and then leave you hanging.

I had Lennar build me a home in Liberty Village Goose Creek, SC 5/2020 and what a terrible unprofessional experience it has been. Do not allow them to con you into closing when there is outstanding work or issues that remain. They will tell you they guarantee they will fix your issues, and that problems are tracked by the Charleston office, and then blow you off as they did us after closing. Look them up in Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. Their work in Florida is even worse than SC. Definitely go with another builder. Wow?! Can’t even leave a bad review.... I’ve tried multiple times. They don’t want to hear anything that may be negative. I guess that’s how you get voted number 1.... delete and discard any bad press. Do Not Buy from Lennar!!!!
