From the beginning everything has been great from Eric and Kimberly working as a sales and loan team, they made sure everything was in line and easy to navigate. The house itself was built well, there are still some creaking in the floors upstairs I need to submit a ticket on, there's been several little small things from trim around the kitchen island breaking loose which I just gorilla glued them back as it's just as easy for me to fix little things like that. There's a few spots in the walls we're screws are visible that weren't before, possibly from just living in the place because they were not there in the walk through, again ill submit a ticket on those as well or just let them be as it's hit or miss noticing them, it's shadows and lighting effects. My biggest complaint has been the yard and grass, the sod was laid with no water and died, the replacement sod was cheap and thin, it was rushed, the yard is undeveloped because of it and water puddles between homes and it's swampy after a rain. No rain and it drys out in a day or two. So it does drain just poorly. I've just been sowing grass seed myself trying to get a lawn started with the dead sod with thin centipede grass. It's green but thin, the neighbors around me have nice lush yards, but myself and the 2 neighbors beside me have dead spots and sod lines were our sod was done to quickly before there was water and replaced with cheap sod. Still Lennar built a sold home, it's just little things that come with being a home owner. If you expect perfection then you shouldn't be buying a home because even the Rich Folk have a Maintenance Team when they buy a New Home. As I said, besides the little things that are bothersome but not hindering, we love the home and the community, Our neighbors are kind and friendly, People in the Neighborhood are always walking and waving, saying Hello as they pass. We are still in a construction area but it doesn't affect the life of the Community as People are active in the community, you see cookouts, exercising, food trucks pkus the pool and playground are busy with fun and laughter. Lack of communication on her part was ridiculous! Started buying process 8/24 and was not informed about a project manager until home was 6 weeks from being COMPLETE! No one called me for any inspections (drywall) of which I wanted to be included in. The only way I found out anything was that I went to the house EVERY weekend since August and made a list of questions and had to contact her for answers which took days for any response. My new neighbors informed me about a project manager and weekly emails of updates on the house of which I NEVER got. Paying this price for a home should include someone who cares about keeping the buyer informed. Jenny made a handsome paycheck on the sale of my house and it wasn't deserved. ... More

I bough without a realtor, and just me and the sales office. Karl was immensely helpful in his knowledge, responsiveness and chasing down answers for me. I used a private inspector who as you would expect found things during construction, and they were addressed promptly with personal high-touch interaction with Matthew and JD, my construction managers. Now, this was not my first rodeo, but even if it were, these folks did a very nice job.

The builder delivered within the specific time frame. Our complaints were handled in efficient manner. We are. Very pleased with our house and design as well as their prices fit the middle income bracket. Our goreman was super nice and attentive. We will highly recommend Lennar to other friends.

Great place to live ,nice neighbors & great neighborhood

had a great experience buying my home! Everything moved so fast and smoothly — from contract to closing. The team was professional and kept me informed every step of the way. The home orientation was really helpful and made me feel confident about moving in. I’m so happy with how everything turned out!

Finance process was very frustrating

Seems like they cut corners to hurry up job. No linen closet that was on plans. House wasnt clean when we moved in. Floors dirty garage not cleaned. Garage door step covered in mud. This is my 5th house and worst land scape job i have ever seen. Cut corners dead grass. Things just cheaply done. Problem with missing cables. Called lennar and they say not our problem. How could they do an inspection and not catch these things.

We were informed every step of the way with up to date emails, and photos of the build. We feel very fortunate. This is our second Lennar home in South Carolina and we are extremely pleased!

Signed on the dotted line, lined up our own mortgage lender and attorney...poof...there went the customer service for Lennar's Sales Team member, Lori. No longer answered emails, didn't tell us how to get vital information regarding our home (mailbox keys, HOA info/login, etc). As soon as you use anyone but their title, mortgage or lawyers, you're dead to them & good luck. Make sure you do an independent inspection of your home prior to move in. Lennar will tell you they have an "independent" inspection but don't believe them. We found 3 code violations and multiple issues with our house, including water damage after their inspection was already completed. Post inspection and since moving in, we've found whole sheets of drywall that weren't properly nailed in place, unsealed tile, uneven and missing flooring/carpet, uneven doorways and doors that don't close properly/are cut incorrectly. The list goes on daily. The only saving grace thus far has been the warranty department. We've had two positive experiences with having major things fixed & if it wasn't for that, I would regret buying this house entirely. Expect to replace pretty much anything builder grade within the first year or so and you'll be much more in tune with the reality of a Lennar home. ... More

I'm sure others have covered all the typical pros & cons of the home itself. The one area I find highly frustrating is moving into a new home and it backs to a future phase that has been postponed. That land which many new homeowners view everyday since it's right in their back yard has piles of trash and debris 2 stories or higher. It also has mountains of dirt at least 3 stories high. There's more but I'll digress. My understanding is that it will be a year or more before anything is done with this mess. Lennar needs to address this in Horizon's at Summers Corner even if it's just removing the trash & huge steel containers and then leveling out the dirt. Anything would be an improvement to make this eyesore less painful to us new homeowners. ... More

Working with Lennar overall was positive. However, you have to understand what you are getting which is a quality spec home at a good price. You get what you get. They mass produce houses and you will have the occasional issue. Also certain things may or may not be included.

We love the floor plan. Was disappointed in 2 x 4 vs 2 x 6 studs. The build should have more insulation included. No major issues at this 3 months in. Closing was seamless. We hope to live here for many years.

My loan officer was great, he was their every step of the way. After the sale John reached out and checked on me. Jessy was good during the walk thru but became unresponsive after the sale was final. I did not like the fact that the house I had a contract on was still been used for site tours. No walkway in the front of the house, you must walk in the grass rain or shine to get to your front door No gutters on the house bummer. The grass was installed in the winter you have more dirt than grass present day I have all weeds. I was given a water hose for irrigation. We are in 2025, and you did not offer a smart home package ? No walking path from garage to the house, inside garage unfinished. Closing was a really bad experience; construction was going on I could not hear the attorney I have to keep asking questions as he keep repeating himself. I love the house however I fell in love the first time I walked into the model, the stairwell and the big Island take the show. Ammie the sales professional did her job by getting me interested in the house welcoming me taking me on tours connecting me with John and then she was off to the next one. I was moving from and did not have a lot of time to house hunt, Lennar was the only company that hah inventory. This is my fourth Lennar home. This experience was easier than the last but still a bit difficult. Rushing to have people close is not a good experience. Workmanship is so so. You get what you pay for.

Missy, our Lennar sales agent, has been absolutely fantastic. Her support throughout the home-buying process—and even after the purchase—has been exceptional. She’s been nothing short of 100%, A+ in working with her. That said, there were challenges outside of Missy’s control that have been disappointing in working with Lennar CS. We've encountered some issues with the quality of the construction. For instance, the vent fans (stove and bathroom) in the house seem to be a common problem, as confirmed by conversations with neighbors. They make a very loud clanking noise even with the slightest wind. Unfortunately, when we requested Lennar to investigate and resolve this, our request was denied. We’ll need to explore other solutions since the noise is often unbearable, especially when trying to sleep or work. Additionally, the exterior walls are notably thin. In one of the bedrooms, I can hear neighbors through the exterior wall as though they were only a few feet away. Also have experienced nails protruding through the carpet that is not normal (not carpet strips to hold the carpet in place) - the request to have looked at was also denied. The windows have some gunk or even damage to them - scuff marks. Lennar did agree to send out professional window cleaners to see if anything can be done. Also had a downstairs bathroom sink that has a preexisting big 'ole chip broken at the drain. They are sending someone to take a look at it also. Overall, everyone has been pleasant face-to-face, but struggling to get some help on areas that you wouldn't think would be an issue in an expensive home. Appliances work great though. ... More

The work I asked to have corrected on my house was not done. It was painted over and that was how they corrected it. Please don't schedule final inspection 2vhours before closing.

Lennar was very dishonest when it came to me having my own realtor. I was told I was filling out a form to receive updates on new home availability and later found out it locked me in with the sales office as my realtor. The project manager was great but is given limited information. Love the neighborhood but would not recommend Lennar, unless you come with a buyers agent.

This journey was amazing. I met Holly first and she showed me the availability of homes that met the criteria we discussed. She returned every phone call within minutes and was prompt for every appointment. She was very knowledgeable, and customer oriented. She was the best. Once I signed the contract on a home, I visited the site often. Brian was the main go to guy for me. When I had questions, he had answers! He was customer oriented, knowledgeable, and ahead of the project every time. He always ask me to make a list if I saw anything that needed attention to details with the construction. I made the list, but he always had every detail on my list corrected before I would see him the following day! I also was greeted by John and/or Darrell on some days as they were looking over the workmanship of the multiple laborers completing their task. They were informative, answered questions I had, and also made sure the craftsmanship was perfect as can be! They also shared suggestions and possibilities to me to make the house and property remain in perfect condition. I also looked forward to seeing Ed and Scott on my visits. They also inspected the workmanship and would oversee that any imperfection corrected. To team was meticulous! I do not know how to make it any clearer. I was part owner of a custom home construction company at one time and I know how hard this crew works to please the customer. They were all experts in their field and focused on the customers expectations. I never passed thru the neighborhood without them waving and making the effort to be sure everything was going well! Everyone from the sales office to Customer Care made the buying process easy and stress free. It's been many years since we bought a new home and the Lennar team was wonderful.

Like used car salesman, they fast talk you to look over and past their work. The cm had no integrity and did not stand by his word. The Sheetrock was poorly done throughout the entire house and even after a month of work still not right.

From the sales associate to the loan officer everything went smoothly and met my expectations.

We searched for a community and company to buy with for 4 years in the Summerville area. Worth the way and best decision would could have ever made. Lanar made the experience and process very comfortable and pleasant. We thank the Lanar family for helping us through the process like family.
