Everyone tended to our concerns and address them

The entire process has been a headache purchasing this home. Issues that arose with my inspector were not properly fixed before closing and is still something I am fighting Lennar with. They are quick to respond to issues but then “complete” them in the portal when it truly has not been fixed. I’m spending close to half a million dollars on this home and I’m getting work that is worse than my 250k DR Horton home. The employees are quick to bash DR Horton however none of these simple issues were a problem them - nor was it an issue from DRH getting support to get them fixed. You can very easily tell Lennar no longer cares about quality - it’s all about how fast they can throw up a house with the cheapest trades involved. Will never recommend a Lennar home nor will I purchase another - several other homeowners have expressed some concerns, new and existing owners. Lennar is quickly going to be involved in more class action lawsuits than they already are if they continue to choose the cheapest options and have complete disregard for the future and existing homeowners. ... Everyone at Lennar was terrific. Tina our new home consultant, Reagan our mortgage loan officer and Lou our construction manager were all outstanding and friendly people. They all made the buying of our new home successful, making the whole home buying experience a smooth process. THANK YOU to all involved.

I had a couple small home issues. There warranty dept. responded quickly. Very impressed.

This team is most accommodating. Things were all done in a timely manner also they kept me updated. I am enjoying the lake view; this house is beautifully built. I wish I had another Lenin Closet.

During our home buying process we were met with nothing but difficulties in communication. My wife was due to deliver our first child and we needed the closing date moved to a later date. Every request was denied. Only after reminding the sales team of federal protections around medical conditions did they move the date….. one week back. During the walk-through, we found many issues with Sheetrock finish work, and even one wall was 4 inches out of plumb. The work quality on the construction displays the lack of care from the builders. After one full month of being in the home we have found more than a dozen nail pops that we have been told they will not repair. We’ve had a plumbing failure that took a week to repair. We a number of floor squeaks that have been assessed but no one has come to make repairs. Customer service comes second to making a profit. Poor, poor, poor customer service. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. The only reason we did not back out of the purchase was because we were old have lost our deposit. ... More

Seems like sales was not interested in our needs; just getting homes off the books. If we were told that they were having a sales event in July, we would have waited. We wanted the Waverly & got the largest home we could afford, the Osprey. We didn't know some of the larger homes may have a bonus room upstairs; didn't know that the there were more homes available other than the models. Would have liked to have brought our pool table, but sold because no room in Osprey. Sales person said when we do a Reverse to Purchase, would only have to put down half as much...LIE...ended up having to put down more. Wasn't told that A/C unit would be in back & outside our bedroom; the models show on the side. Back-flo is right next to it. With the small yards this takes away from our outdoor space. With Capital Gains, we can't move for 2 years. Seems like Lennar doesn't care about the homeowner's quality of life Very disappointed. We have neighbors that feel the same way. ... More

I have not been in my home long enough to know how great the warranty service will be, but if they are as responsive as the items we found during the walk thru, then they will be Johnny-on-the-spot. From meeting the on-site realtor to closing, all of my questions were answered and concerns eased. Thank you Lennar Team which includes the personable and knowledgeable Lennar Mortgage loan officer.

As this was my first home I had many questions and concerns. All my questions and concerns were handled in a prompt and concerned way.

Workmanship on the home is marginal. I keep saying "is it cost/time effective to do it correct the first time?" that to keep coming back to repair the issue. Also, we've had experiences with warranty matters when we've been told the trade is scheduled to come out, they don't show or communicate.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone went out of there way made you feel very comfortable. A shout out to Karl Z great help always there when you needed questions answered. Also Ian the site manager was very helpful. I have friends looking into this location. I highly recommend Lennar home builders.

The open floor plans are great , but there is no consideration of any power outlets on the floor for table lights or anything else for the couch in the middle of floor. All outlets are along the wall so if you have electric couch features you’ll need to run a line across the floor. Other wise there is plenty of bright lighting led lights in the ceilings all over. They seem to use good materials for the most part. Not sure how great the craftsmanship is due to the amount of homes they are building so fast. Attention to quality could be better. Issues are passable, but could easily have looked better if a little concern and an extra minute might have been taken. Overall a nice floor plan and a pretty good package for the money. Lennar has it down to a well thought out plan when it comes to mass building houses since they’ve been doing it so long. A little frustrating trying to get some issues ironed out when the construction manager told you one thing and a month later nothing has been done and you can’t get a hold of him anymore. With a bit more effort you may have to track someone down at the office to hopefully address the issue. All this is probably typical of new home buying, too bad it is. Still to say, it’s a good product and a pretty good deal. I would recommend anyone to take the opportunity to look at Lennar homes as an option when buying a home. ... More

Listen, Lennar gets a lot of crap, but honestly it just is what it is. They crank out homes and source the most affordable materials they can within code for your State, County, City and then they offer you a home at some of the best price per square foot you’re going to find. When you pay bottom dollar for your home, you can’t expect everything to be top dollar quality. You just have to accept what you’re buying when you buy it and do everything you can to make sure your home is inspected a couple of times within your 12 month warranty. I’ve bought two Lennar homes and haven’t regretted either purchase. Customer service has been kind to me, because I’ve been kind to them. Everything I’ve addressed with Lennar has been taken seriously and they’ve come out to look at the issues promptly. Hope this helps. ... More

So far everything has been great. There were some minor issues but most of those have been resolved. There are a few issues that we will address once we get to the 10-month time frame to make sure there is nothing else that comes up. The only major issue we have had is our HVAC is making a loud noise when it cycles off. Paula at Lennar Warrenty is working on this issue with the HVAC company and the manufacturer. Ian our construction manager was great. He was very involved and kept us infromed with the progress of our build as well as addressing any issues we asked about. in general, house is ok. service is ok. but just ok. Lennar can do it even better to become great. but you cannot expect that. because of Lennar build massive houses at the same time and want control cost as much as they can according to Lennar. the warranty team is good. always have quick response. most warranty issue are very minor things which they can avoid before house close if they want, you have to escalate and prove it according to the process steps over and over again which make you feel a little bit annoyed.

The process was easy and straightforward. The home was delivered in good shape and as promised. We wish there were drawers in the bathrooms but understand the cost saving of them not being there. I disliked the lack of communication between signing the contract and closing. The lender at Lennar Mortgage was very difficult to get in touch with but kind when we did speak with him. Overall it has been a good experience.

We have had a smooth experience from day 1. From our final walk through to our actual move-in date, anything we needed to be addressed by Lennar has been completed. They listened to us.

We had an awesome experience with every aspect of Lennar!

Foremost it is a lovely home, however, there is way too much paper work that creates a lot of confusion. Constantly going back and forth no one can retain all of the information. Moving in I did not have time to seal the granite so just spilling water on the counter makes it darker in spots. It should have been sealed before we moved in.

I will highly advise any new buyer to get their own finance, Lennar finance department is a joke!! We almost walked towards the end because they couldn’t get on the same page between their own company! Building department is ok, I definitely suggest visiting your property during construction as much possible! We bought from out of town and I wish I would’ve been able to walk the property at least biweekly, could’ve save a lot of headaches and problems I now have to deal with, bad tile cuts and grout, lots of drywall issues and a lot of trim not finished properly among other things!

The process was seamless and schedule well.

First I would like homebuyers to know that if they intend to use a realtor, whether they have one or not, make that clear when you walk in the office door. And Shannon was very short and unresponsive until AFTER the purchase. Second, I would not recommend Field for your mortgage loan processing. Very slow to respond and had to be constantly reminded about changes. Didn’t have final estimate until 5pm the day before closing which caused a delay with my bank. Third, I’m not happy with the landscape management but neither are other homeowners. Haven’t had any issues yet that have not been addressed in a timely manner.
