We purchased a home in the village with a closing date of sept 15. Ashley was our sales person and was absolutely wonderful! The house had many issue on closing date that was supposed to be repaired before closing. We did a walk through the day of closing, with an extensive list.....2 weeks later nothing repaired, scheduled or communicated. I sent another email requesting communication. The warranty team followed up. Ken, Isaiah, and Hillary came by for another list. FINALLY, we have forward traction! The transition from Cal Atlantic to Lennar was very unorganized. They installed the HVAC system before the roof was on. They had the wrong prints for our home and installed walls where they did not belong. They did not insulate behind the bump out walls until I caught it ...right before drywall. They got mud all over our upgraded carpet on 8 different occasions and had to replace the carpet. The wood floors were also scratched up in several areas because they did not cover them. I could go on....

The quality of the homes here are poor at best. Materials used are basic trac home quality. The tradesman have little to no skill set, and the superintendents are lacking people skills as well as professional development.

The process was easy and straightforward. The home was delivered in good shape and as promised. We wish there were drawers in the bathrooms but understand the cost saving of them not being there. I disliked the lack of communication between signing the contract and closing. The lender at Lennar Mortgage was very difficult to get in touch with but kind when we did speak with him. Overall it has been a good experience.

This was my first home buying experience and it was awesome! Everyone was very patient with me, informative and responded quickly. Chip, in my book was the most amazing! He went above and beyond on many occasions to make sure I was good and happy. He made me feel very valued by choosing lennar.

In today’s home market, I feel more comfortable knowing that Lennar has made an effort to repair any areas of oversight during the build process. Also, with the 1yeat home guarantee I’m protected.

This is my fifth home I have had built. The overall experience was one of the best that I have had. My site project manager was very responsible to my emails and issues, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, the house had less issues at closing than previous homes. I was not a fan of not being able to make selections for options as in previous homes, that was always a selling point for me in buying my own home. This was an investment property, so I was able to move past that, but still didnt like the exterior color of the home. Also, the large walk-in master shower really should have a shower door, not the expectation of a shower rod as that would have flooding issues. I had to invest in a shower door post move-in. The sod that was put down also sat at the end of the road for a week or more and was mostly dead when I took ownership of the home and the yards on the entire street look very poor because of this. ... The home was well done and in the time originally specified. The home buying consultant went above and beyond in every way. Can't say enough good things about her. Construction manager was very responsive to a couple of issues we noticed on closing day. Coming to SC from Ca. we were delighted with the home and it's price. Overall we are pleased with the home.

Very pleased overall. The selection and construction process were smooth. The communication with the sales consultant and construction manager was excellent. We were even able to meet with them additionally beyond the scheduled times. Any concerns and questions were answered promptly. The only items that required any follow up were minor issues related to the subcontractors not ensuring their details were completed before moving to the next job site. This required multiple service requests to correct the issues.

Great price on a quality home..Lennar mortgage caused some anxiety along with closing surprises and a little heavy handed on the closing..Lennar real estate agents were not very helpful..The house is built with quality materials.. overall I am satisfied

Both my real-estate representative (Pam) and construction representative (Brian) were excellent to deal with. 5 stars each. They were knowledgeable and very attentative to my needs throughout the home buying process.

Purchase and closing went pretty smoothly. The home was a great value for the square footage and features included. Overall, the build was good but there were some minor annoyances (trim separating from wall, doors closed while the pain was wet, exceptional amount of cleaning needed prior to move-in) that prevents me from giving 5 stars. Overall, I would recommend this builder.

Overall, very satisfied. My only complaint would be the interior painting, specifically the trim. Workmanship is not what I would expect based on the cost of our home.

Giving the Builder any concerns or questions is key to a pleasant experience

I read a lot of reviews online about the horrors some people experienced with Lennar so I was a little concerned when purchasing my home in Carnes Crossroads in SC as they were the only builder. The whole mortgage process was very smooth and easy and we were informed and communicated with often. The build was also completed to our satisfaction with few items needing attention which were resolved quickly. Overall it was a good experience.

There were delays in finishing the home, tied to the local government and permits being issued. What was troubling was that Lennar communicated a time frame that was not reliable. What was originally a late September closing turned out to be a late November. My recommendation to Lennar is to provide a time range for closing/completion, not a tentative date.

Foremost it is a lovely home, however, there is way too much paper work that creates a lot of confusion. Constantly going back and forth no one can retain all of the information. Moving in I did not have time to seal the granite so just spilling water on the counter makes it darker in spots. It should have been sealed before we moved in.

Trouble getting mailbox and keys

Going through Lennar’s financing was a long process I think it was because we went VA but still the amount of items the underwriter kept asking for was ridiculous we actually didn’t know we were set to close until 12 before we closed! We have great credit to so I’d hate to see how it would be if you don’t! Eunice was really helpful and nice! The house is beautiful but there are some things that they’ve cut corners on for sure! We are overall happy but there are things that could be improved on!
