They tell you things that are not true. When you move in the grout and seal for your wood baseboards pulling out from the wall and theTile in my shower the grout has holes in it my wood floor had spots on it that were left by whoever put it down my sink was scratched badly both sides and they tried to say I did it. They finally fixed it. My garage door broke after about a couple of weeks and no one would come fix it. I am 72 and.my son couldn't.be home so i called the garage door CV company and a super nice man drove an hour at.no charge to come fix it late at night. All my doors were cut ...

The house design and sales agent were great. That is where it ends. At best the craftsmanship is poor. Lack of attention to detail is on full display. When you are paying near 500K for a home, one deserves more than shoddy work. Lennar is not responsive to requests for service and fabricates excuses why they are not liable.

i had issues with lennar mortgage... but once lennars real estate agent found out he immediatly started the process to fix the wrongs.. David was extroridnarly effective an helpfull. from that point on i would give Lennar 10 stars if i could.. once the closeing finished we were completly overwhelmed with the quality, professionalism, and compasion Lennar showed l.. i would recommend them 100%.. The lennar mortgage company well i had issues with them, maybe you wont so you can try then them make your opinion...

Not having permits for water was uncalled for. Blaming everyone else made it worse. We wanted minor changes we were offered to pay for and sign a contract for(moving outside spigots and additional shelving in closet- both prior to their installation- and told no. Communications were “we don’t know” on every aspect. Now that almost all houses are sold there is mud in the streets, unfinished sidewalks, major common areas just mud, trash on the bridge at the entrance, etc. not impressed with Lennar.

Loan officer fail

Since I don’t have an any good words about the loan officer(s) that were assigned to me. I will say the managers and underwriting team ans well ans the crew who did walk the through and inspection ,especially the onsite rep who was phenomenal. They made this experience so much better than after the shamockery with loan officers and this played a part in the score and success of a close.

The salesman that we had was horrible. It was nearly impossible too get in touch with him. It's too much too write but the people that we dealt with at the end were wonderful.

Communication from the mortgage branch was spotty, didn't know I was approved for a loan until just a few days before closing, after more than five months of back and forth. Pleased with the home itself other than the landscaping, sod was put down in a haphazard manner, large gaps still prevalent, a rough ride for any type of mower--very disappointing

Elson was awesome from start to finish. Andrea and Andre needs customer service training. Cheyenne was great. Overall the experience was decent. The process was smooth although I was a nervous wreck.

Lennar uses limited flexibility in options/changes approach to hold schedules tightly. That's good thing as you know it up front. On the downside, our house required significant effort to make it livable due to Lennar cost cutting : no towel racks, inadequate closet hardware, no light fixtures, etc. We had several minor quality issues, all of which were quickly fixed with the help of the Lennar customer support rep. And the "smart" home features are really nice!

Move in was delayed due to not passing inspection for foundation. Was delayed 2 months and due to scrambling to move the date back up after we were told it would be a 3 months delay we was forced to pay a per diem fee while we waited for the appraisal, since they moved the move in date up on us last minute

I purchased a new construction D. R. Horton property in June 2018. I decided to upgrade to a larger home and purchased a Lennar home in November 2019. The longer I live in the Lennar home I realized D. R. Horton is a better quality builder. The Lennar quality is just not there. The drywall is so thin you can't hang a lightweight picture without reinforcement. The wood flooring has several chips in places my family and I could not have damaged it. For example behind the toilet in the half bath. The ceiling still shows major flaws, corners of walls, not really corners have curves. The lawn is ...

The process was difficult due to being out of state. Accommodations were made to allow for signing because of our situation in MICHIGAN because of my shoulder surgery and having to live in separate housing to accommodate my recovery and have a place for our dogs. Overall we got it done and everyone was accommodating. As for the house, we were very disappointed with the finishes in the home. Due to my surgery, I was not able to attend the walk thru, my son attended instead. Painting quality was poor. Home purchase was straightforward but issues occurred which required multiple follow-ups. A solid house however design features were not changeable to customize house to buyer. Lennar is not good at communicating. There was no contact that wasn’t initiated by me, even when there are problems with the build or closing. And even when I did hear from them, they frequently didn’t provide all the information needed/required. I am happy with the house but feel like many of my grey hairs can be tied directly to trying to get Lennar to tell me what was going on with the house.

I am experiencing some poor craftsmanship on the house. Some of the items that were completed for the punch list were done poorly. After the side walk was removed the yard was not graded very well and had several leaks in the irrigation system. I am having difficulties with the HVAC cooling the house properly. I have hundreds of small flies that get in at night and they cannot seem to know where they are coming in. The person that came in with the window and door company was worthless. All of the door locks have issues constantly. Yu have to slam the door to get one to work and then try to get the other one to latch after that. It's a constant irritation! If things need to be level, this will drive you crazy. There are multiple areas that just aren't level, the bathroom countertop slants down and if you put anything down that has a chance to roll, it will roll off. Clearly the trim paint used in the model is MUCH different than what you get. The master bathroom fan constantly sounds like you have dripping water coming down. They have been good about responding to issues, ...
