Terrible overall experience

The builders completely missed our change request order, had we not found it ourselves by driving by, it would have not been caught u til too late. This happened twice during the build. And don’t even think about trying to use their financing company, most unprofessional and joke of a lending company

Will let my friends know to stay away from Lennar

The microwave was not installed for our inspector to check it. They installed it last minute and left 2 screws out and unaligned. They didn’t let us blue tape the house and A LOT of the issues we asked to be fixed just weren’t. The construction manager worked by himself to fix those and we had to come back the same day to approve it. Overall, the quality of the home is not good. The construction manager is extremely passive aggressive. During the choosing the exterior colors, the sales representative said the white siding was not available anymore and we had to go with the lien color. ...

Bad experience with the construction manager

Construction manager Patrick Diiorio has been rude, disrespectful and unresponsive when asked about status or had any concerns. He would respond only at his will and did not bother to even respond at times. He has to learn how to speak with customers, nobody is doing anybody any favors. A lot of the things could’ve been easily resolved with better communication

Poor experience. House built poorly. Still finding garbage everywhere they put the sod down over garbage I had to pull roof shingles out from underneath my lawn. Very disappointed.

Horrible repair and maintenance

1) Lawn was horrible at the time of closing. After 1 that I was told that it was layed months back without any property maintainanice. Due to this I have pay the expenses to replace it. 2) Restroom and others have issues 3) newly installed fridge needs repair Overall not happy of getting a brand new house and get these issues frequently

I was told I had to rewrite this because my first review was too strong. Our home buying experience was less than satisfying. Our salesperson, once the papers were signed, disappeared. Many emails and text messages were ignored. Not very comforting. We even recommended that a friend buy in the neighborhood. They did. Do you think it may have been nice if our salesperson reached out to us and said thank you for the referral. Of course not. We will move again for sure. But if this salesperson has anything to do with our next development, we will move on.

Really bad overall

Too many issue overlooked. I don’t really know why they have a construction manager if that person is not going to supervise. Here is the list of some of the issues we had the first 2-4 weeks after closing. Gas leak, broken septic tank, electrical issues, Dishwasher was broken during installation (it leaks) really poor drywall finish where you see all joints, poor workmanship for all finishes. Honestly this does NOT feel like a new home. It’s been a headache from day one. In my opinion Lennar is like a fast food restaurant. I will never recommend lennar!!!!!

Not a realizable builder to construct your dream home. Lennar is not responsive and still there are preclosig items pending even after 5 months of closing .

Very unprofessional and inexperienced construction managers with zero value addition or supervision. Subcontractors are all free to do or not to do what they want or not want.

The closing process was very stressful and communication between Lennar and the attorney was disastrous. Old documents were mailed, documents were signed after the fact, and signing day was not pleasant. Please do better, Lennar.

My experience was very bad. It started with the first walk-through. I identify some stuff. The second walk-through identified some stuff. It is now been 45 days in the items that I identified to be fixed is still not fixed. Follow up from all of the above is very, very poor. I asked for a price adjustment paid 15,000 more for the same home that sold across the street. overall a very bad experience.

We had a great experience with Lennar up until the end. But 2 days before close they sent us an updated survey showing that 60% of our lot was unusable due to easements and buffers. It turns out that had been planned prior to us ever going under contract but was never disclosed. They essentially backed us into closing by waiting until we’d already sold our other home to tell us this. They didn’t sod half of our yard and left construction debris in it. Lennar - Craftsmanship is below par and have a lot flaws.

Craftsmanship is below par and have a lot flaws. Mentioned it to dirt walk through and took a long time to fix it. Took off many times and was stood up by concrete 4 times without a notice and I have to follow up a lot of times. Until now it’s not fixed. Been lied during building process and overlooked it . Been lied again and might follow up with Lennar corporate to get it resolve. Upset with the company and couple employees. Jerry and Brandon are the one been helpful

I had a horrible experience . The sale of my home depended on my purchase of this home. I needed one more day but lennar didn’t care. They would not give me one more day. They told me they would turn around and sell it for more than I was buying it for. The paint is awful it’s a flat pain shows all the marks. In the bathroom caulk is missing around the floors. I fell that the home was built so fast that paying attention to details are missed. My grass now that’s another issue. I have holes in the back yard where grass is missing. I was told that someone would come roll it but never happened. ...

The day of move in/closing, my wife ran the dishwasher to clean some new dishes purchased. About 15 min into the cycle we smell something burning, open the dishwasher to find the sprayer was improperly installed, fell over and caught fire on the heating element. We immediately sent in the warranty claim, to which we were told this is through the applicable manufacturer. After 3 weeks without resolution Lennar finally stepped up and replaced the dishwasher. Now we are about 6 months in the home, I have hardwood floors splitting down the center of planks. I brought in the flooring manufacturer ...

Find another builder! Buying a home from Lennar has been one the most stressful things I've ever experienced. If I had it to do over, I would not use a builder as large as Lennar. I would do my homework and I'd use a smaller company with a good reputation. My home closed in early March 2021, it's mid-May and I still don't have a working dishwasher. That is just one of a number of things that have made for an unpleasant experience.
