Had a terrible communication with loan process and now having a terrible time getting issues under warranty taken care of.

We used all Lamar’s preferred everything. Lender, lawyer, inspector, etc. we had to work with lennars sales manager Justin as our sales rep Phill was terrible at following thru and following up. They really led on the feeling that they were doing us a favor, we weren’t treated as a valuable customer. Phill was very inconsistent in things he’d say. We didn’t have an opportunity to choose anything in the new build of which he blamed us for not reminding him that we needed to choose & we missed our opportunity.BECAUSE WE DIDNT TELL HIM TO DO HIS JOB-his words. We purchased the home understanding there was no HOA. A month after we closed we received a letter/documents for a newly established team, not “hoa”, but a team and fee that will need to be paid yearly for our community. Minimal communication in the status of the home, the loan, and documents needed literally beyond the closing appointment. The lender was verifying employment info 30 min before our closing appointment. The entire time prior, our realtor had been following up and pushing our loan officer to complete tasks. Our closing appointment was pushed back 2x in the same day because their finance team had not completed their job. After the prolonged closing appointment (it was scheduled for 1pm, then 230pm) we finally got the keys at 530pm. We loaded up our excited and anxious kids to bring them to their new home for the first time. The entire packet they provided us with, keys and door codes was wrong and they left the garage openers in the home. We weren’t able to get into the house by any means. We reached out to ALL teams, even those who couldn’t do anything to help. Out of the entire team of people, all of one person responded. The receptionist. She got ahold of the builder who drove an hour out of his way mid dinner to let us into our home.We’ve been here two months now. Not one single person on the team has reached out to apologize or even acknowledge this issue. Our builder; Dillon, and his team were AMAZING and are literally the only reason we felt confident in moving forward with our purchase. We have family now relocating here as well-we absolutely 10000% will never work with Lennar again. They have zero principal and zero integrity. ... More

Our “realtor” never responded to our inquiries timely and pushed us to use Lennar lending after we communicated at least 10 times were going with Navy Fed. We gave the lender and chance and he was extremely disrespectful to my wife after she said she was not going with Lennar. Build quality is good and the building manager was good at fixing the issues we provided. Everyone seemed money hungry and if any decision we made would make someone lose money they would get obviously irritable. Would not recommend Lennar after that experience.

Houses are ok but the buying process with the builder and their relator is terrible. At a minimum if you want one of their homes get your own relatpr don't use theirs.

The process started out good, but we should have seen the red flags when the Lennar real estate agent Marnie ignored our agent during the process. She also confirmed to us that we would receive a sprinkler system as we stood in the model home which had them. We found out right before closing that they were not included!!! The celebration walk wasn't anything close to being a celebration. When I asked about the hole in the side of the tub that the Lennar manager, Chris tried not to acknowledge, the response was, "oh, we can get that fixed!" After moving in, we were made aware by our neighbors that we did not get the spotlight that the other houses did. We also noticed that the trimming that was supposed to be on the house was not there! No mirror was provided for the powder room.During one of our random checks on the progress we found an empty beer bottle in our bathroom drawers... I could go on and on, but I'm not. Clearly the workmanship was poor! Thanks to representative that was assigned to us for any issues after the building process, Colby! He's the best they have! He's responsive, quick, and addresses our concerns the first time! If it wasn't for him Lennar world have 1 star and that would be due to the fact that I had rate it! ... More
