I am very happy to have found an affordable new home and appreciate Lennar making it possible for me to buy! Not happy about how appliance package was handled, when they provided a refrigerator that was too big for the space.

There was a site manager, everyone was calling him TK. He made me sign the pre-check list completion before the closing and verbally confirmed one of the issue with the patio door was fixed. I believed him,lol. When I checked it, it was not, I let him know he said he will take care of it by end of the day. But It was still not fixed. I had to request a warranty repair. On the other hand the warranty departman gentleman Gary was great. Good follow up, helpful. Lending Experience: Lennar’s preferred lender made repeated and unacceptable errors during my loan process. I missed some things on walk thru and I called to get items to be fixed, and now I was told that is a cleaning issue and that is not per design. So be sure to take your time and mark anything you want to be fixed otherwise you will have to fix the items yourself. So I am having to fix items myself that I should have flagged. The red dirt stained several items on front entry now I will have to paint and do lots of scrubbing! The home needed cleaning before I moved in also but was not. I love the truth. I was deceived when I bought the house. I was told that if I bought an average townhouse, it would come with appliances. But when I agreed, they told me that they wouldn't let me buy it with appliances. Self-respecting companies don't do that.

I wanted to bring to your attention what has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in the process of closing a home. I traveled from Atlanta to Spartanburg with my family to attend the acceptance walkthrough and complete the closing the following day. We took two days off from work and booked a hotel stay, intending to celebrate an important milestone. Our buying experience was very pleasant and frictionless. Having options included and great incentives simplified the process. We received good support through the mortgage application process as well. When the walkthroughs came we found quite a few quality issues which were supposed to be resolved prior to the final walkthrough. When we returned for the final walkthrough, most of the items had NOT been addressed. The walkthrough was so fast that we miss a lot of issues. Once the walkthrough is done , then you are informed that the second walkthrough is only to cover that everything that was identified in the first walkthrough was fixed. Then you are informed that a new issues identified after the first walkthrough is going to delay the closing time. Basically the builder put you against the wall. Then after closing the builder informs you that any new issue goes through the insurance company. Also, there is only one time fix for almost all the issues. Very disappointing

Overall it was easy to purchase this home. Would have preferred to be able to upgrade to a better appliance package. Also include items such as towel bars and curtain rods. Lennar mortgage was difficult to deal with.

From start to finish was seamless. Great experience from the sales team, mortgage lender, walk thru, contractor, and welcome team, My experience couldn’t have been better. From start to finish, this was a seamless and quick process. I already had a real estate agent and lender, but if I had it to do over again, I would have done everything through Lennar. Overall the buying experience hasn’t been terrible. The house is nice and the process was fairly smooth. I’ve been a little disappointed with the communication though. Trying to find the right person to get answers from for certain questions has been challenging. Sometimes I didn't even get a reply at all. When I did finally get the right person to help me, they did help me to the best of their ability. Overall it’s been a good experience, but there are definitely some areas of communication with Lennar that could have been better.
