Cheap workmanship

My house has many cheaply and sloppy done workmanship. Chalking is messy in many areas, clay sand under the appliances in the kitchen, countertops are not the best quality you would expect from the price I paid for the house. There are no towel racks installed in the bathrooms, which should be a standard item in every home purchased. The floor quality is not the best either, the carpet does not have proper padding underneath, a must for getting the best wear out of your carpet. The houses in Blue Ridge Village are being built too fast and good quality is missing.

We started the homebuying process the homebuying process in October. The overall process took a very long time. Initial closing was supposed to be mid January, but it got pushed out a number of times. End of January, then early February. And all final closing "certifications" from Lennar didn't happen until beginning of February. Being on credit lock down for 4 months is a LOT. To have to wait 4 months to do anything because the final approval on the mortgage was delayed was more than a little stressful.

Horrible finish work, drywall, paint, carpentry. They really cheap out on the finishes...no towel bars, no mirror in the powder room. Have had 2 warranty claims already for electrical outlets not working.

The experience was not pleasant it was a lot of balls drop during the process a lot of back and forth a lot of being lied to. A lot of unnecessary spending and a lot of unanswered questions or just being ignored. Communication was terrible. Would never buy from them again

We are very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our new home. Lennar is priced very well compared to all of the other builders in our area. Defects we very few and minor and were corrected very quickly. We feel that the follow up and attention to details after the sale were lacking. We asked several times about who the trash company was and how to receive postal mail, but never got any answers. We are still having trouble with these issues. They also messed up our New Home Welcome and Closing dates that ended up costing us an extra $2,000 in expenses that we complained ...

We have had a great experience purchasing our home in Cleveland Meadows. Our home is in a great location, we appreciate the little extras that Lennar put into the home. The initial process they are very attentive and responsive which was very helpful and appreciated. I will say after the purchase there really isn’t any follow up or much response if you have questions which is a bit disappointing. They should have post purchase agents or something like that to make sure all is well and you can have a point person to go to for any questions etc. Otherwise we definitely recommend.

My home buying process had its ups and downs, but overall, I’m happy with my new home. The initial phase went smoothly, thanks to Tara M. She handled everything from the site tour to executing the contract with professionalism and ease. With a new home build there are items within and or from the build that need fixing and adjusting. My rep Tina has been exceptional in contacting and guidance and solving these issues has been spot on and welcomed. Nice solid build. Builder did a great job. Nice neighborhood and location. Good value. Got a great deal at in November end of their fiscal year. I did get a private home inspection before my walk through and they addressed everything in my report. I am very happy with everything. I would reccomend Lennar builders. The home also comes with a warrenty. And dont forget to register all your mechanicals and appliances that were included for their warranties as well.

Bobby was my builder and he was great. He seemed to really care about ehat he was doing and if I liked it. He stayed near during my initial walk through and came and asked if I needed anything done or fixed. I have been in my home for about two months now and so far, I haven't found any problems.

My experience was not the best. There were Docusigs almost weekly. There seemed to be very little communication between the loan officer and the underwriter so I was asked to provide information more than once. There were delays that I still don’t understand. I waited in the attorneys office to close for twelve hours . I was given te wrong keys to my home. There was no information about the community. It was a mess!

Great house for the price. Small details were overlooked but it’s the things that you only notice living there for a month. Love the townhome that I got! The welcome packet could be a lot more helpful and informative. Had to figure things out on my own which is the only reason for the 4 stars. Overall I love it!

My overall experience was not bad. I adore Michael C that did my walk throughs. I did not have the same experience with the sales rep on site. She was on the verge of rude more often than not. I also have not enjoyed the fact that there seems to have been miscommunication on what my town I actually live, I am a month in and still don't know what my address is : Fountain Inn or Simpsonville : even the utility companies have the address listed differently.....but I love my home,

The beginning of the process exceeded my expectations until I was under contract. It was very difficult to communicate with some of the key players on the team such as the processor, loan officer, salesperson, and property manager. I left messages and I would not receive a response, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
