This builder is the first builder I have built with that does not have a one year warranty punchlist, fix items, including cosmetic flaws in sheetrock and dry wall nail pops. I have found many flaws since moving in tgat I will now have to spend money on out of pocket to correct. This is totally unexceptable. I came from a builder in Tennessee that hung beautiful doors with beautiful woodwork and a wonderful one year walk through punch list check off. Ryan homes, Parkside Builders, SK builders, D R. HORTON builders all do this. My handrails never got a top coat of polyurethane in my home. Title work in showers was perfect, flooring was good. Walls and trim really poor work. I had to paint the entire home inside before moving in. Doors wouldn't close had to have them removed and plained. Crackbin guest room header upon moving in and an electrical circuit box was in the guest room wall. Why not put that on the other side of the wall in the guest room closet? I could go on and on. The actual home buying was super easy and pleasant! The home itself is cheaply built and the neighborhood is definitely not as described.

We have been in our home for two months and we still don't have a mailbox.

We are very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our new home. Lennar is priced very well compared to all of the other builders in our area. Defects we very few and minor and were corrected very quickly. We feel that the follow up and attention to details after the sale were lacking. We asked several times about who the trash company was and how to receive postal mail, but never got any answers. We are still having trouble with these issues. They also messed up our New Home Welcome and Closing dates that ended up costing us an extra $2,000 in expenses that we complained about, but were never addressed or resolved. ... More

Great house for the price. Small details were overlooked but it’s the things that you only notice living there for a month. Love the townhome that I got! The welcome packet could be a lot more helpful and informative. Had to figure things out on my own which is the only reason for the 4 stars. Overall I love it!

I would love to give a stellar review and I will say the majority of people I worked with from Lennar were great. From Lennar Mortgage to the walk throughs and everything in between, people were knowledgeable, helpful, and got back to me in a timely manner. Because I believe it’s important to give credit where credit is due, Scott with Lennar Mortgage was truly a pleasure to work with, Beth did my first walk though and was a lovely person, and Dustin did my final walk through and he was awesome! The exception to this was the selling agent on behalf of Lennar. She gave bad information several times throughout the process and made it so much more stressful/frustrating than it needed to be. It was evident she needs more training and coaching to do her job more effectively so future home buyers will have a more enjoyable and positive experience. ... More

We were tired of playing the game of looking for existing houses for sale after only a few weeks. Most were only on the market for 48 hours or less. We heard Lennar was building in an established neighborhood and had a few lots ready to put on hold. We saw the product and the value for the money was way better than anything else. It took a little over a year from the day we signed the contract until closing. We are enjoying the home and the area so much. Once the build started the process was fast.

Michael the CCR was very helpful and went above and beyond with helping get a repair fixed

Overall, we are very happy with our townhome. Other than the garage, the workmanship was great, but we wish there were window casings, Crown molding, and towel bars. They offered a nice incentive package to be applied towards closing, but didn’t tell us until after the fact that a portion of that would go to buying down the interest rate with Lennar Mortgage.

Still waiting on issues to be repaired before we closed. Said they would be taken care of and was not completed

Overall the buying experience hasn’t been terrible. The house is nice and the process was fairly smooth. I’ve been a little disappointed with the communication though. Trying to find the right person to get answers from for certain questions has been challenging. Sometimes I didn't even get a reply at all. When I did finally get the right person to help me, they did help me to the best of their ability. Overall it’s been a good experience, but there are definitely some areas of communication with Lennar that could have been better.

We started the homebuying process the homebuying process in October. The overall process took a very long time. Initial closing was supposed to be mid January, but it got pushed out a number of times. End of January, then early February. And all final closing "certifications" from Lennar didn't happen until beginning of February. Being on credit lock down for 4 months is a LOT. To have to wait 4 months to do anything because the final approval on the mortgage was delayed was more than a little stressful.

There have been multiple construction issues requiring call backs for the installers which should have been taken care of before the move in. Wall tile was disposed of in the shower drain resulting in a complete blockage and causing water to leak under the shower pan and walls. It has been 4 week waiting to complete repairs. The warranty staff has been great responding to all issues but very frustrating and time consuming waiting for the installers to repair issues.

Final product is very nice, but it as a lot of work to get it to that point. Salesman was great at making sure I got a quality product... and he really seemed to care.

Builder wrote contract to where buyer was liable to pay for lot tax at closing but, issued a credit at closing for most of this cost IF the buyer used Lennar Mortgage. External Mortgage company could not make this $ amount up in credits in order to be competitive on closing costs.

I would write more words in a review, but Lennar did nothing special or out of the ordinary for me so there’s no reason for me to give them any further review. They built a home and I paid for it. Thats pretty much it.

The home buying experience was very exhausting. Lennar was very helpful with the process, helping us get credit ready to purchase our home(which no one else were offering to help). The credit counseling helped us tremendously. As long as you follow what they tell you, you'll be able to obtain the home you want. The only negative thing I'd have to admit that made the process grueling is the extensive paperwork requirements.. The credit history checks where your creditors both passed and present have to be questioned on the way they were paid by you.. Also, feeling like we were never going to be able to complete all of the requirements to close the deal was rough. I think the verbiage that was used during the process was like we weren't fully approved to move forward to closing on our home. Even the day of closing, we were still not fully approved. That did take away from the home buying experience because we were on pins and needles waiting for the final approval. Our loan processors were helpful in calming us down during those moments of stress. We didn't feel the joy of being homeowners right away because the process was so frustrating. But at the end of the day, we became homeowners and we were glad the process was over. Iam thankful for the Lennar team that was there the whole time, whatever the situation was to help us through it. What initially caught my attention with Lennar is the extra details they put into the design of the home. I also enjoyed working with the staff who were very helpful and quick to respond. What I did not like is the quality of the builders work. After closing I walked into a home with dirty windows and dirty floors and paint splatters in multiple places. The outlets on some of our walls were spaced out at different heights. Also, the paint touch-ups were very visible and thankfully Lennar was quick to fix that. Another aspect I did not like is the quality of the grass they planted. Everyone in our neighborhood has a bunch of weeds growing but the grass they planted is still brown in most places and only starting to become green in some places. They planted better grass near the mail box, a common space area, which was green from the beginning. ... More

For the most part, we are very happy with our Lennar home. We feel it was well built and we love our kitchen appliances. Our biggest disappointment is with the flooring. We were required to choose engineered wood, with only 3 color options. The floor had a bad spot when we moved in and has yet to be resolved. We have no children or pets, yet already have numerous scratches and nicks. It’s very disappointing. The other thing that I found surprising is that they didn’t put a mirror in the powder room and we had to install our own towel bars in the bathrooms. It makes us wonder in what other ways were costs cut that are not so obvious- I guess time will tell. ... More

IT was a good experience overall

Overall it was easy to purchase this home. Would have preferred to be able to upgrade to a better appliance package. Also include items such as towel bars and curtain rods. Lennar mortgage was difficult to deal with.

Having all options for building, financing, insurance, etc. all in-house makes the buying process less stressful. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and the Lennar team in general.

The beginning of the process exceeded my expectations until I was under contract. It was very difficult to communicate with some of the key players on the team such as the processor, loan officer, salesperson, and property manager. I left messages and I would not receive a response, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
