Overall, a great experience from beginning to end. Recieved weekly communication with pictures along the construction process from Sales Agent. Lennar is responsive to the few simple repairs that were needed. Solid Home with many great qualities and feature’s.

The unit would be more valuable and flexible if it had 2 feet more width and depth. The garage is too small for the average car. Doors to narrow for multiple passing and closing without interference of some kind. Doors to narrow 28" throughout. 4-5 doors would have been better as Sliding doors.

Home buying process felt rushed and was not move-in ready during final walk!

From start to finish in our new townhome we felt like Lennar was artificially rushing the closing process, while completely missing deadlines on their end. We were in no hurry to close, but the Lennar agent was adamant it happened ASAP. They set an overly optimistic close date, and we agreed (thinking they could still have the home ready). Will Never Buy a Lennar Home Ever Again

Lennar required me to use their mortgage company even though I had negotiated in the contract to use my own mortgage company. If I used my mortgage company, Lennar would not honor the contract by rescinding the negotiated $17k in Seller Concessions, or would cancel the contract and keep my $30k in Earnest Money. One month late, Lennar Mortgage finally got loan approval. But they wanted $10k extra in loan costs. I settled on an 8 1/4% interest rate, not paying the extra $10k, and closed 2 days before the end of the month. Lennar wanted to close before the end of the month, so they could make ...

The home buying experience was very exhausting. Lennar was very helpful with the process, helping us get credit ready to purchase our home(which no one else were offering to help). The credit counseling helped us tremendously. As long as you follow what they tell you, you'll be able to obtain the home you want. The only negative thing I'd have to admit that made the process grueling is the extensive paperwork requirements.. Lennar wants to use the excuse of being a production builder for major quality issues. They do not even adhere to their own quality standards. The finish work is atrocious. When the door manufacturer comes in your house & is appalled by how nothing is plumb so none of the interior doors sit properly in the frame with large gaps visible, it is really sad. They make their garages so small you cannot park a standard size SUV in it. The paint they use is so cheap that 4 coats did not cover pencil written measurements on trim pieces. Buying with Lennar was fairly easy with the help of my realtor and new home consultant John, there's a couple term/fees that will be missed if you do not read contract word for word in its entirety. I would also suggest for future buyers especially first time homebuyers to be firm and not intimidated during your initial walk through because otherwise the agents will make you feel guilty for pointing out every deficiency whether small or big and simply try to brush issues off, also Id recommend Lennar hire better paint professionals that have attention to detail and not just paint the ...

Im very happy with the house I purchased. It did have a small issue we found out after Hurricane Helene went through South Carolina. A small window had a very small drip. using the App I did a warranty ticket. I received attention the same day. Id like to compliment Kolby for her multi tasking several contractors to come in the right order. She's a great asset to Lennar

I had a wonderful experience with Lennar during my first time buying experience. They did everything that they could to make me feel welcomed and wanted and appreciated. Whenever I had a question, it was usually answered in less than 24 hours and with a warm smile on their face. I would most definitely recommend Lennar to anyone purchasing a home. Many individuals that you work with following the purchase if there are issues seem to be quick to respond, communicate well. Just understand you get what you pay for then you will not have any issues. The overall workmanship, especially on the finishing leaves a lot to be desired, everything from uneven tile work, caulking & grout work, finishing cuts on trim, etc.

If I could go back I would have never bought a Lennar home. To start they act like they throw all these extras in when in reality all the homes come with them. When I walked through the home the first time there was a beer can on the kitchen counter (screams quality). You could fill up multiple pages with the amount of repairs they had to make initially. Of course now that I’ve closed I find things pretty often that were poorly done and now it’s too late for them to repair it. The carpet is coming up in a lot of the corners, especially the stairs. Overall, we are very happy with our townhome. Other than the garage, the workmanship was great, but we wish there were window casings, Crown molding, and towel bars. They offered a nice incentive package to be applied towards closing, but didn’t tell us until after the fact that a portion of that would go to buying down the interest rate with Lennar Mortgage.
