We bought our first home in SC with DH Horton and thought they needed to improve their craftsmanship, but Lennar has them beat two fold!! It was a negative experience commencing with the home orientations == closing had to be pushed back because of the inadequacy in the non-completion and sloppiness in construction, overlooking details we asked to be fixed and just plain ignoring before closing! The quality or lack of quality by the "so called cleaning crew" to make the house be cleaned correctly; paint stains all over the floors! I love the truth. I was deceived when I bought the house. I was told that if I bought an average townhouse, it would come with appliances. But when I agreed, they told me that they wouldn't let me buy it with appliances. Self-respecting companies don't do that.

Every homebuyer on my street had negligence plumbing sewage leaks/water leaks and ect. Homes were rushed put together missing stuff overlooked stuff and customer service did not know what to do had to fight for weeks to get stuff solved. They lied to every homebuyer said we are the only one with the issue

The reason my husband and I chose Lennar for our recent home purchase in Inman SC was based on a prior experience with purchasing a Lennar home in Summerville SC in 2017. Every person we interacted with back then was sincere, thorough and pleasant. It was such a smooth process. Our experience this go around has been the opposite. Our experience with Lennar has been terrible. There was very poor communication throughout the entire building process. When issues would come up, blame would be cast on other members within Lennar with no sense of accountability. The work within the house was lazy. Our walkthrough with the warranty manager was the worst customer service we have ever had to deal with. We received many excuses that any issues were not real problems. The walk through was rescheduled several times with the promised that once the final walk through took place everything would be perfect.
