The Builder needs to slow down and get the home’s completed with more time spent on Quality. Standard building practices like installing gutters Having a new Home With a microwave vented by a filter internally makes no sense whatsoever when it can simply vented out the wall. These are just two samples of what we now have to pay for which should be standard features. Concrete workmanship very poor. Fresh air ventilation and damper was never connected. Do it right the first time.

We received our home about two months after the initial close date that we were told. We were told that our initial close date was possible because they already had the materials, therefore there wouldn't be a setback due to materials. About one month before we were set to close and after questioning the time frame, we were told that we misunderstood them having the materials - what they meant was they had the "purchasing power" to buy the materials. At this point it was 3 months after I signed the contract and price homes had gone up 20-30k so it made no sense to bail out and buy elsewhere - ...

About what you expect from new home builders these days.

Its about what you would expect from a new build these days. They rush and hire whatever subs are cheapest for the budget. people get paid by working fast, not better. and so theres lots of errors or crappy workmanship garage still had dent in it. they painted front door because it had a dent, but in doing so got some paint on the door handle. Staples in the carpet sticking up everywhere. sharpie on the slab beneath rising to the top of our cheap flooring as blue marks. Floor had some scratches we missed. the cheap flooring also bubbled up some or wasnt stuck down good in some spots. nail ...

Purchased a brand new home recently. My wife and I moved in and had a list of things that were not finished on the home after closing. Took a month a several phone calls to resolve. Refunds took weeks to issue and several phone calls! Then the biggest issue of all my property was damaged by construction next door after I took possession. No regard for my property at all! Again several phone calls several warranty requests. Even a phone call to horry county police to make sure no one else will be allowed to damage any more of my property. Not miner damage!!!! Also we closed on our house and ...

Really a 2.5-2.75 star rating for me. I want to start by saying I really love the community and my home. I have found some of the materials and initial painting to only be so-so. There was some patch work done in our master bathroom that wasn't painted over just before we moved in. Not a huge deal, but as a brand new build you expect perfection and don't expect small projects with your home right out of the gate. I have also noticed the paint on the walls is very easy to scuff and when cleaning seems to strip away very easily. Almost as if their wasn't good priming done first. Same with ...

House is a good value for the money, but the issue is that nothing in the house was functional of done correct. Light fixtures don't work, I have to hire an electrician to correct them. No crown molding, all exterior light fixtures are loose. Nothing was ready on time. Water main broke on the side of my house and toilets overflowed all over my floors. I am very disappointed. House looks good on outside but beware of how things are put together on the inside. Shoddy craftmanship.

We were rushed to close and they were not ready they could’ve taken another couple weeks and gotten things situated. After I came back from the settlement table I came back to a house that had no front door they still cannot fix a problem with with the door that they had so they took the entire front door off. There follow up on a bunch of things is really really bad

We were not told that the home prices changed after so many other houses sold, so within 24 hours the price of our house increased $3500.00 and we were not aware of it until we signed the agreement. Lennar said, "Sorry, but that's our policy. The salesperson made a mistake." They still charged us the increase. Then we were assigned a HUB Concierge to help guide us through the transition to our new home. She was awful! She never returned one voicemail and always had an excuse for bad customer service. Lennar promotes "everything's included", but it's not. All of the ceiling lights are cheap ...

The most Stressful home buying experience ever!! Salespeople make promises that are not allowed by builder. Watch out for the sales gimmicks, they use sketchy sales practices.. I read the R&R's before purchasing with promises for a fence then the builder changes the docs. after submitting request for one. Lennar is not to be trusted. Love the location and floorplan. Unresponsive property management.

Lennar responded:
We sincerely apologize for the negative purchasing experience you had with us. We appreciate and value your feedback. I have shared your comments with upper management for them to review and assist.

Poor workmanship-from the entry in the courtyard to the rear windows of the building. There is nothing that stands out in a good way. Cheap labor, cheap materials, poor finishes. The only plus is the location, something that Lennar banked on-building fast, poor (quality) and expensive.

We were dragged through the mud on getting our site selected, then having to suddenly bid on the lot and then getting lots of conflicting dates for completion (they were still cleaning and laying sod after closing and we were moving in). Two months later our pre-close checklist is not complete and warranty work is not done on days promised with no call or explanation. We love the neighborhood and location, but Lennar is tough to work with. Get ready to fight for your rights.

The building manager started out as a great asset to have in the area as we were moving in however, as time went on and more problems with the home occurred or cropped up he became less inclined to help or take responsibility for mistakes he had personally made; regarding our homes power and water supply line accounts in particular. I find this behavior to be inexcusable and completely unprofessional to not take responsibility for a mistake you made on a homeowner’s power supply application only to be made aware of it months after the homeowner had moved on, alert the homeowner that you were ...

The entire home buying process with Lennar was just one headache after the next. Their sales team cannot communicate anything to you in a timely manner, causing delays and missing out on lots that are for sale. Lennar Mortgage is a joke and a waste of time. I initially was working with them for buying my new home, but they dropped the ball multiple times, gave out our confidential information to the wrong people more than once, and took weeks to respond back to anything causing us to find a new mortgage lender 30 days from closing. The build quality of Lennar is subpar at best...they cut ...

I am so disappointed in the customer service that has been provided to us after closing. I wish I had done my research on Lennar prior to buying a home. I would have never purchased a Lennar home if I knew what I know now. The number of lawsuits, poor reviews, and complaints is just mind blowing to me, but I am experiencing first hand why. We continue to have promises broken by Lennar employees, tickets that are never followed up on, and issues that continue to not get fixed.
