I am still trying to get things fixed to my satisfaction.

The Motgage process was easy and mostly stress free. Having standard options and knowing the price upfront with no add one is great.

We truly like our new home. However, the process of getting there was a little rough. The loan process - really bumpy, then they sold our loan. The responsiveness to issues with the house, and there were several, has been slow to resolve and have had to keep after them to get some of the items fixed.

When doing the pre inspection and the final inspection, check everything. After 45 days in this house I am still finding things that I missed on the inspections. We are still scraping paint and adhesive off the floors. Crooked walls, lumps of sheetrock mud in the corners. Beware of emails that show you how to use your irrigation system and you find out that an irrigation system is not included. Ring doorbell not included

We preferred a Lennar home, but did not have a very good experience.

The home buying experience was generally smooth. But once we closed it was difficult to get anyone to complete things that were supposed to be completed

Quality of workmanship is lacking

Aaron saw to it that my dead sod was replaced. Jamon did good to get a plumber to fix some things BUT, my front door does not close correctly and they said they would replace it. No communication from Jamon and no action so far in over 6 weeks. Contacted Jamon again a week later. He apologized…but still no action on my door. Please be honest, timely and forthright and don’t just shine people. It’s insulting.

We purchased a home that was completed prior to being put up for sale. We had minimal interactions with the builders. We did interact with Kim, who is the owners representative between the builder and you. We had a positive experience with her, Our main issues was with the Lennar Mortgage Department. Although they all were friendly and professional, they are put under a strict time frame to close on these homes that many mistakes were made. We closed within 22 days of signing contracts, our closing costs and estimates changed 4 times including the APR. Our intent is to pay off this mortgage within 6 months so we were minimally affected by these issues. Due your due diligence and don't feel obligated to finance through them, although they offer some good incentives make sure you are not better off in the long run financing elsewhere. The support services offered by Lennar through myLennar were not available to me and should not have been offered. We do like the unit and have been busy making it our own. However, as we settle in, I find the workmanship less than expected for a $260K home. Materials are not highest quality (patio door is too heavy to open and does not lock), and painting was obviously rushed. Concrete patio is small and interior of garage could easily have been painted before moving in. These simple and relatively inexpensive "touches" would really elevate your finished product.

We had a good feeling when we saw the listing for the new Fieldview community. We went right over and met Gregg. He was so helpful and understanding with what we were looking for. We loved the house so much, we put a deposit down that same day. Liz, the construction manager, was outstanding! She did the walk thru with us. She was very knowledgeable about the water heater and other things in the house that I wasn't familiar with. She made everything about this buying experience, great! Only disappointing part of our experience with Lennar, was their financial department. We had trouble having someone return calls which delayed our lock in interest rates. Having a new home built can be a frustrating and at times downright an emotional journey. In the past we have bought new from another large national builder. As a direct comparison I feel overall Lennar is a better value and gives you a bit more quality components. Things like Low E Glass, Tile Back Splash, Screened Lanai where other builders did not. Our upgraded gourmet kitchen looks and feels quality. We are glad we took that option. Same with bathrooms With that said, like almost any builder, at least the large ones, quality is all over the board in regards to the specific contractors that are used and Lennars own staff who draw up the actual plans. We have had some funky, issues, doors that dont align properly or better said just not as they should be, horrible cement driveway, electrical outlets and tv outlets in places that make no sense, for example what good was a TV outlet behind the master bedroom door? Then another TV outlet placed outside in the Lanai but missing in the main entertaining room of the house, the family room. A telephone jack that was behind the kitchen tile. The fit and finish on our French doors are far from quality do to messed up installation and painting they remain that way. (we didnt call Lennar on this yet) The bottom line is this stuff should not happen but it does and it does because I feel the pressure is on to get these homes closed ASAP. With that said, believe it or not, the above issues are not deal killers, these things can happen with any new home, after all homes are built one by one and the structure itself is good, just annoying sloppy work and or careless by some contractors and although the construction manager is nice we felt left a little out in the cold. Ok, with all the above said, would I recommend Lennar to a friend? YES WHY? because this stuff happens, the structure is good and HERE IS THE KEY. Lennars warranty people and system are TOP NOTCH. Absolutely fantastic group of people who try like heck to make things right, keeping in mind they are having the same contractors come back to fix their mistakes. Our cement company was the worst but looks like thanks to our warranty person, is looking like it's been taken care of. This is the key, Lennar is there for us after the sale. The warranty experience and follow up I feel puts them at the top of the class with respect to ALL builders. So as much as one might think this is a negative review, it really isnt. We do feel without question things should have been addressed during construction and our construction manager addressed our concerns but feel he knew about others that he kept to himself and also feel he is only there to get things done to only an acceptable level and hope we dont notice other stuff. But let me repeat, none of this matters, because any issues after the sale, you can call direct their warranty dept or actually just scan a QR code with your phone, report the issue and the follow up by the warranty department will knock you off you feet, they are that good. I was not very impressed whatsoever with the entire process. Never once did my salesman take the initiative to send me any photos of the construction process being that I am out of state. They told me they would do that. If the non-English-speaking crews that came in to complete each phase was not paid until the work was done to satisfaction, the quality of work would be much better. I feel as though there is absolutely no supervision, just everyone collecting a pay. sure, the houses look great from the outside but speak a different story upon closer inspection. The lending process was like being harassed. I basically had to tell my loan officer that I have the means, via my investments, to purchase the house in cash. That’s when he backed off. I think he was fearful of it I was going to go ahead and do so, especially because interest rates were quickly rising. I feel like they are in such a hurry to throw these houses up that the workmanship gets compromised. I have been in my home for 2 months and have had multiple repair orders put in 4 things that should have been taken care of the first time. I feel like once they get your name on the dotted line you are just a number. They are more concerned with getting their bonuses then the customer experience of getting a quality product. Not having a pool in Phase 5 was a terrible decision on the part of the builder. 1 pool for all of Belle Harbor is ridiculous.

Average experience, nothing to brag about. Construction manager is very helpful and responsive.

Overall, we were happy with the sales staff and construction superintendant Reese, they were very professional and respionsive. After a month in the home, everything appears to be good, with the build. I will say that the paiting job is sloppy, especially on the trim - there are runs in the trim paint, sloppy at the floor level with white paint drips and specs a lot. I wish we would have taken more time at our walk through's, but it is hard to see all this in a short period of time. I think they builda lot of homes very quickly and the fit and finish suffers. The salesperson could have been more friendly and accommodating. It felt very unwelcoming. The construction manager we had went out with pregnancy complications twice. Both times, no one followed up on her jobs. We were left hanging having no idea why she wasn’t returning phone calls. I think someone should follow up with clients when their construction manager is out more than 2 days.

Although my experience buying my house was not the best, I must mention that I thank Mathew B for being patient with me due to my lack of experience in the new technology. An example, I was able to scam some documents using my iphone, thanks to Matt.

Lennar is a track builder. There are NO additions, deletions or changes. We probably should have waited.

We bought a house is all I can say. The craftsmanship is not there. The Sheetrock and painting is the worst I’ve seen. The paint should be considered as primer and the house really needed painting. If this was my primary home, I would definitely be upset with the overall quality. All I can say is…..we bought a house and there’s nothing extravagant about it. I would definitely never use their mortgage and probably never consider their homes

I bought the house last August and there was a problem with the floor of the house. We are in November and still waiting for a solution

The workers hired to build the home were not craftsman. I've been around master carpenters and furniture makers all of my life and they would not have hired the workers that built my new home. The finish work is disappointing.

If I had to do it over again I would not buy a lennar home. After moving in There were many things the Builder overlooked. For instance, The builder over looked many times. After closing now going on are Third month still waiting on windows to be replaced above the garage. That the builder knew was wrong. Just one of the things that were not right.
