Rushed to closing service is bad after.

We were rushed to close and they were not ready they could’ve taken another couple weeks and gotten things situated. After I came back from the settlement table I came back to a house that had no front door they still cannot fix a problem with with the door that they had so they took the entire front door off. There follow up on a bunch of things is really really bad

We were not told that the home prices changed after so many other houses sold, so within 24 hours the price of our house increased $3500.00 and we were not aware of it until we signed the agreement. Lennar said, "Sorry, but that's our policy. The salesperson made a mistake." They still charged us the increase. Then we were assigned a HUB Concierge to help guide us through the transition to our new home. She was awful! She never returned one voicemail and always had an excuse for bad customer service. Lennar promotes "everything's included", but it's not. All of the ceiling lights are cheap ...

Most Stressful Purchasing Experience Ever

The most Stressful home buying experience ever!! Salespeople make promises that are not allowed by builder. Watch out for the sales gimmicks, they use sketchy sales practices.. I read the R&R's before purchasing with promises for a fence then the builder changes the docs. after submitting request for one. Lennar is not to be trusted. Love the location and floorplan. Unresponsive property management.

Poor workmanship-from the entry in the courtyard to the rear windows of the building. There is nothing that stands out in a good way. Cheap labor, cheap materials, poor finishes. The only plus is the location, something that Lennar banked on-building fast, poor (quality) and expensive.

Not the greatest experience

We were dragged through the mud on getting our site selected, then having to suddenly bid on the lot and then getting lots of conflicting dates for completion (they were still cleaning and laying sod after closing and we were moving in). Two months later our pre-close checklist is not complete and warranty work is not done on days promised with no call or explanation. We love the neighborhood and location, but Lennar is tough to work with. Get ready to fight for your rights.

The building manager started out as a great asset to have in the area as we were moving in however, as time went on and more problems with the home occurred or cropped up he became less inclined to help or take responsibility for mistakes he had personally made; regarding our homes power and water supply line accounts in particular. The entire home buying process with Lennar was just one headache after the next. Their sales team cannot communicate anything to you in a timely manner, causing delays and missing out on lots that are for sale. Lennar Mortgage is a joke and a waste of time. I initially was working with them for buying my new home, but they dropped the ball multiple times, gave out our confidential information to the wrong people more than once, and took weeks to respond back to anything causing us to find a new mortgage lender 30 days from closing. Lennar Financial Department and Real Estate Agent where Amazing. Title company Bellamy was horrific, caused multiple issues and were not accountable for there actions. Lennar Build was well below expectations and still has not completed outstanding build issues. I am so disappointed in the customer service that has been provided to us after closing. I wish I had done my research on Lennar prior to buying a home. Location was awesome. It was a lot cheaper than a custom home. It was painful to be ripped off and know only recourse was to walk away from a nice house. Fixtures standard low budget builder grade items. Workmanship adequate to substandard. No choices or deviations from master plan. Understand have bought a “house in a box”, meaning the absentee builder or franchise operator purchased plans and hired local labor to execute. The agent handling our purchase, Danette, was excellent. She was very responsive and handled our needs very professionally. The house has an excellent floor plan and lot. However, no quality assurance of the work was performed. The house should not have passed occupancy inspection due to no water to the kitchen through the hot water line. Not impressed at all. Leading up to our closing we had nothing but problems that weren't completely address by the time we closed and had to be addressed after moving in. Had a water leak within days of closing which has now caused a mold issue that is taking weeks to even address and our new home being torn apart. The lack of customer service from several walk throughs to address issues to having items that were not repaired after setlement

Drywall and painting of our home was rushed and it shows. We have crooked wall as well. The lack of concern from our project manager during walk throughs was terrible even though he promised all of our concerns would be addressed and corrected.

First and Last Lennar Home

This is my first Lennar home as well as my last. There is no pride in craftsmanship in this home. The walls are not square, the floors were not leveled before laminate floating floor was installed, paint and caulk were sloppy at best.
