Lennar - Poor tile work.

Poor tile work. Cheap paint and carpet. Fit and finish work awful. The smart home features are nice, however I've been informed that they are not included anymore.

Customer Service has not been good.

I love my house and the development, but the issues I have submitted to Lennar, which includes water coming in under my garage door, loose front door lock system and cracked board where my 2 car garage door is attached have not been addressed and I contacted Lennar customer service over a month ago. With a few days, a representative came out and took pictures of the areas of concern and now will not respond to emails, etc. and nothing has been corrected. Other issues right after my house purchase have given me a big lack of trust in Lennar.

Paint, chalking was terrible paint overlaps on floors sloppy painting on doors 1 door wasn't even primed 1st chalking overlaps on all corners in every room,. Molding trims in living room foyers not flush against wall. Cheap flat paint in leiu of sheen

Location was awesome. It was a lot cheaper than a custom home. It was painful to be ripped off and know only recourse was to walk away from a nice house. Fixtures standard low budget builder grade items. Workmanship adequate to substandard. No choices or deviations from master plan. Understand have bought a “house in a box”, meaning the absentee builder or franchise operator purchased plans and hired local labor to execute. Local labor seemed to be inexperienced subcontractor or day laborers, or sketchy bottom feeder companies. Little attention to detail or focus on quality. So far, ...

Keith has been quite helpful. I am somewhat disappointed the landscape quality and the terrible soil we have to work with. The clay is terrible around the house to work with and create a landscape to be proud of!

Be sure to have a home inspection prior to closing. Lennar as a company is not the main issues relating to the overall build. They need to oversee the sub-contracting as the quality is not there.

The building manager started out as a great asset to have in the area as we were moving in however, as time went on and more problems with the home occurred or cropped up he became less inclined to help or take responsibility for mistakes he had personally made; regarding our homes power and water supply line accounts in particular. I find this behavior to be inexcusable and completely unprofessional to not take responsibility for a mistake you made on a homeowner’s power supply application only to be made aware of it months after the homeowner had moved on, alert the homeowner that you were ...
