We were already renting in the community so we knew what style house we wanted and were pretty particular on color and location. Our sales director was amazing, he kept us posted on everything and helped to get our house color changed even after they originally said no. Dealing with the mortgage coordinator then was a challenge. She would request information and if you asked a follow up-it would be days before a response. Then she should send you and email telling you you were late returning the information. My co owner travels for work, we were assured closing would be early June so he worked his schedule around. Surprise Lennar wanted to unload our house early and tried to give us a mid May close. When I tried to change it, I spent 7 weeks trying to get an answer-in which no one including customer care did. Finally our sales rep stepped in to resolve though totally not his responsibility. Many details in the house were incorrect-I walked it daily. I had to often tell the construction manager what needed to be corrected. It took them 4 times to get our closet acceptable. We were told the lawn would be graded and trash, rocks removed. We spent tons of time doing this ourselves and as we were laying mulch still found beer cans, nails and other debris. I brought up many items on our walk through-all of which were brushed off. Example I brought up the gaps in the garage door-was told it was for hurricane braces though those are on the door not on the floor. I now have frogs in the garage and they have had to send multiple people out to fix. Our outlets are all uneven-again without redoing-no way to fix. The counters are not sealed so all wet spots stain. Overall, outside of our sales rep, I am pretty disappointed in the experience. ... More

We were looking for a one floor home with a front porch that had a big kitchen and a big back overhang with a patio. This house came with a lot of storage for our necessities. It's a great neighborhood that is close to beach access.

First I was told bu 2 people home would be cleaned when I got here, it was not cleaned and we had to get here at 6 AM to clean before movers came at 8. Then the hot water shutoff broke off, looked like had been broke and glued back together was told plumber called twice no one ever showed up for several weeks, HVAC was out for a week motor broke in attic. HVAC people put a window unit in, can't imagine my electric bill is going to be. Threhold for front door had shims, wood cracked was pointed out during inspection never fixed when asked was told it was done and it was not. I closed from another state 5/22, told everyone I couldn't be here until 6/7. Got here all the lights on and AC set at 72. Again going to be on my electric bill. The only person that really helped me was the local sales guy Darrell, He told me how to use the app to report things, went out of his way to find out things for me and I think he is fairly new. After using the app to report issues things started getting done after several weeks, almost a month of trying.I would hope Lennar if anything during my bad experience would contribute to electric bill since AC went out, windown unit running non stop tripping circuits and leaving lights and AC running for 17 days prior to me getting here. My overall experience is not good, was hounded to take mortgage, sell me home owners insurance relentlessly was even sent 74 page mortgage papers to my home. It went to the burn pile. Sent email to stop harrassing me, was told it was system generated isssue. Funny how you get hounded to take mortgage, insurance and when you need something nothing happens for weeks. Very disappointed in my whole experience, work all your life to retire and own a new home then have to deal wih all these issues. The Muirwood Model is ridiculous. The pantry is to big which caused the island to be to far from stove-especially when taking full pots of boiling water off the stove-the primary bathroom has doors banging into doors along with the shower door encroaching into the water closet door way, the stove is horrible. You have 3 very heavy grates and a griddle which have to be removed to clean the stove properly. The quality of the fit and finishes are pathetic and cheap. Typical of Lennar. House was way overpriced.

I love my new home!

Process was smooth from start to finish. Overall a good process. All the Lennar reps were pleasant and very responsive. Our agent Laura was fantastic.

All Lennar staff we interacted with were helpful and professional.

Made my first home buying experience horrible. Took over 3 months from approving me to closing with little to no communication on their end. Stay away !!!!!!

Relatively easy process to purchase townhome. Nice layout and floor plan.

We are very satisfied with our new home and the process of buying it from Lennar. We were very informed, supported, and the process was very professional. Nothing but good things to say about Lennar!

I will say that the home is built with the lowest cost of materials possible, the interior paint is very poor in quality, and I believe it is only a primer coat, there was no garage door opener installed and we had to pay $500,00 to get that installed, the water pressure in the neighborhood is very poor and most of the new owners are very upset with the water pressure because you can't water the lawn because there is not enough pressure to run a sprinkler, take a shower, do laundry! I have had several issues with the house that need repair and can't get anyone to come out and repair it! I get told that someone will be out, but they don't show up!! No sense of urgency to meet my request for repairs. My wife and I feel that during the purchase process everything sounds perfect and how Awesome Lennar takes care of the Owner, but after the deal is done, the true colors come out and nothing gets done!!! So, overall My Opinion is that we would not purchase a Lennar home knowing what we know now!! Unless Lennar steps up and comes through with the promises they put forth, I will never reccomend a Lennar home! One final thought, The toilet in the guest bathroom is all but tipping over because the floor is so out of level the toilet doesn't mount flush to the floor!! I have called the number given for the plumber to repair it but like always, nothing has been done and I have been waiting for 5 days now for this to be repaired! what I'm being told by the plumber is " someone will be out today, but nobody ever shows up" not even a phone call telling me they wont be out!!! We had a very good experience with the purchase of our home! I did feel that the company cut corners on a few details! Bathroom accessories weren’t included, no window frames, all lighting is high hats, no fixtures, flooring, lack of carpeting, no outlets operate with switches to name a few!

Still have a question about flooring in our house, looks like LVP(planks) not planks, but linoleum. But all builders team are very good people, five star service, answering all questions, very helpful. Thank you to all of you.

Lennar Homes is a great builder and so streamlined from the beginning to even beyond settlement. Home is ready for move in! I have not found any major items that will need to be repaired. Being in real estate for the past 40 years, Lennar Homes has been one of the best home builder that handles upfront walk through items prior to closing.

I had a great experience all around from viewing the first time to the purchasing of the home. Had two issues since I moved in and both have been taken care of within a day or so of calling Lennar Customer Service.

Dealing with the loan underwriting was a complete nightmare ! I almost gave up and was willing to give up the deposits totaling $9,000. The system at Lennar is very poor! I was told I was conditionally approved only then to be told that I needed to provide more and more information causing us to postpone our original closing date. I am afraid I would NEVER have a good word about Lennar Mortgage. In fact I would advise them to not get involved at all costs!

Just recently purchased a Lennar townhome in Myrtle Beach,SC. Everyone from Jen the sales agent to Michael who did our final walkthrough was superb and very customer-focused. I really could not be happier with the service i received. Sorry, for the less than perfect score for quality, ask me again in a year!

Overall, my wife and I love our new home. But buyer beware, the sheetrock, painting and trim work sucks. Never realized we had to get our own garage door opener. Was told garage was paint ready, it's not. it's primer ready at best. Between giving first and second deposit, garage floor developed cracks. Was told it was within Lennar's tolerances, lol. It's not within mine. Lennar did put down an epoxy floor when I was ready to walk away from the deal. We were told the pool would be ready in April, not looking like it at this point. It was a total joy working with Chris J in the Lennar mortgage Dept. The worst was the home quality Dept. Instead of Lennar doing a quality walk through, we had to. The process is to put a small piece of tape on each issue, it took over a roll and a half. There are still many issues that shouldn't be. Home built poorly and cheap they are just out yo make a quick buck. Mo one tells you anything or explains things to you. Will never purchase a Lennar home again.

Any issue I had was dealt with immediately!

I bought my house remotely. So from a distance I found the buying experience frustrating because communication with several different people was not as smooth as I expected. I bought cash which should had made the process easier. I had to many times remind people the I was buying cash.
