Lennar Homes is a great builder and so streamlined from the beginning to even beyond settlement. Home is ready for move in! I have not found any major items that will need to be repaired. Being in real estate for the past 40 years, Lennar Homes has been one of the best home builder that handles upfront walk through items prior to closing.

I had a great experience all around from viewing the first time to the purchasing of the home. Had two issues since I moved in and both have been taken care of within a day or so of calling Lennar Customer Service.

Dealing with the loan underwriting was a complete nightmare ! I almost gave up and was willing to give up the deposits totaling $9,000. The system at Lennar is very poor! I was told I was conditionally approved only then to be told that I needed to provide more and more information causing us to postpone our original closing date. I am afraid I would NEVER have a good word about Lennar Mortgage. In fact I would advise them to not get involved at all costs!

Just recently purchased a Lennar townhome in Myrtle Beach,SC. Everyone from Jen the sales agent to Michael who did our final walkthrough was superb and very customer-focused. I really could not be happier with the service i received. Sorry, for the less than perfect score for quality, ask me again in a year!

Overall, my wife and I love our new home. But buyer beware, the sheetrock, painting and trim work sucks. Never realized we had to get our own garage door opener. Was told garage was paint ready, it's not. it's primer ready at best. Between giving first and second deposit, garage floor developed cracks. Was told it was within Lennar's tolerances, lol. It's not within mine. Lennar did put down an epoxy floor when I was ready to walk away from the deal. We were told the pool would be ready in April, not looking like it at this point. It was a total joy working with Chris J in the Lennar mortgage Dept. The worst was the home quality Dept. Instead of Lennar doing a quality walk through, we had to. The process is to put a small piece of tape on each issue, it took over a roll and a half. There are still many issues that shouldn't be. Home built poorly and cheap they are just out yo make a quick buck. Mo one tells you anything or explains things to you. Will never purchase a Lennar home again.

Any issue I had was dealt with immediately!

I bought my house remotely. So from a distance I found the buying experience frustrating because communication with several different people was not as smooth as I expected. I bought cash which should had made the process easier. I had to many times remind people the I was buying cash.

This is my first Lennar home as well as my last. There is no pride in craftsmanship in this home. The walls are not square, the floors were not leveled before laminate floating floor was installed, paint and caulk were sloppy at best.

After moving into the house and living in it we have found screw heads coming through all the walls, doors needing tightening so rain does not come through, driveway cracked where you can actually pick a piece out, concrete walkway not good workmanship, we have only lived in the house for a little over a month. Afraid of what awaits us

Our search came to an end with this new construction community. We liked that it would be less homes & no pool or clubhouse. It suited us. Bill was very pleasant to deal with & very helpful to answer all our questions. Our townhouse is everything we wanted. There were no issues or problems. Everyone we’ve dealt with is very friendly

Great experience from start to finish. We first started looking for our new home while on vacation 6 months ago and ironically stayed less than a mile from our new home . We actually drove through the neighborhood and said we can’t afford a home here . Fast forward 4 months and we had found our dream home that fell through and our realtor suggested we try Hidden Pines so we came to take a look, as she said there was a home in our budget. When we arrived that home had gone under contract with the previous couple. Damon said he had another house we might like although it was outside our budget, we decided to look anyway. We absolutely loved the home just not the price , Damon told our realtor he would do what he could. The next day we received a call from our realtor that Lennar accepted our offer as long as we could close quickly and used their bank. We went with Lennar Mortgage and they were just as incredible as the rest of the Lennar people we met. We closed our loan in 20 days and moved in. They use the cheapest material and chip labors

Saw a special end of the year deal online. Called our realtor who connected us to Lennar. Lennar called us, told us that particular house had just been reserved, but that there was another one still available. We did a tour over the phone & immediately put a down payment on it. From there it was about 3 weeks to closing. Everyone we spoke with was great & being on another state, they were very communicative, which was very helpful. Quality of the build was excellent; only wish they included a few more windows (only 5 in the the entire house & they are on the small side). Definitely would work with Lennar again. ... More

We went from our home in Ohio to visit Shellwood by Lennar, and were very pleased with the look and location of the home. After talking to Wayne Goode, we felt comfortable putting in an offer right on the spot. Our offer was accepted, and we started working with the rest of the Lennar team. Our loan officer, Kevin Williams, was a delight to work with and made sure we understood everything associated with our new home purchase! He went above and beyond our expectations, and was available whenever we needed him. Jeremiah, our Lennar construction manager, made sure we understood how everything in the home worked, and how to get little issues fixed during our blue tape walkthrough. He was patient and kind during this process, and was available to answer any and all of our questions. We went with Lennar's closing agent, and Sarah put us right at ease since she was an old pro at doing closings. I worked with Alex and Miguel during the purchase and couldn't ask for better construction managers to go through the process. Both were personally worked on the items needed attention in order to be completed. During the process it was apparent that the subcontractors were not the best they could have hired. It was also evident that the construction managers did not have much authority, if any, over the sub contractors, hence the problem needed repairs or correction were undertaken by the managers. I found it odd that Lennar would not have given the managers more power over the subs for better performance, which would have avoided all the issues came out. ... More

Easy to work with, seamless process- great price, rate, and homeowners insurance quote. My house was already built, and I couldn't choose any upgrades; however, I can make those upgrades myself due to the price I paid. Great bang for your buck in South Carolina
