First and Last Lennar Home

This is my first Lennar home as well as my last. There is no pride in craftsmanship in this home. The walls are not square, the floors were not leveled before laminate floating floor was installed, paint and caulk were sloppy at best.

After moving into the house and living in it we have found screw heads coming through all the walls, doors needing tightening so rain does not come through, driveway cracked where you can actually pick a piece out, concrete walkway not good workmanship, we have only lived in the house for a little over a month. Afraid of what awaits us

Our search came to an end with this new construction community. We liked that it would be less homes & no pool or clubhouse. It suited us. Bill was very pleasant to deal with & very helpful to answer all our questions. Our townhouse is everything we wanted. There were no issues or problems. Everyone we’ve dealt with is very friendly

Great experience from start to finish. We first started looking for our new home while on vacation 6 months ago and ironically stayed less than a mile from our new home . We actually drove through the neighborhood and said we can’t afford a home here . Fast forward 4 months and we had found our dream home that fell through and our realtor suggested we try Hidden Pines so we came to take a look, as she said there was a home in our budget. Saw a special end of the year deal online. Called our realtor who connected us to Lennar. Lennar called us, told us that particular house had just been reserved, but that there was another one still available. We did a tour over the phone & immediately put a down payment on it. From there it was about 3 weeks to closing. Everyone we spoke with was great & being on another state, they were very communicative, which was very helpful. I worked with Alex and Miguel during the purchase and couldn't ask for better construction managers to go through the process. Both were personally worked on the items needed attention in order to be completed. During the process it was apparent that the subcontractors were not the best they could have hired. It was also evident that the construction managers did not have much authority, if any, over the sub contractors, hence the problem needed repairs or correction were undertaken by the managers. I was constantly lied to by the construction manager that things would be fixed before closing and it wasn’t. Now every week I’m dealing with the warranty department which that person said this house should never have been closed on in the shape that it was in. I’m trying to get a petition on Lennar from other homeowners that have problems. Fire your construction manager.

We had a good experience from the beginning until we got to the loan portion of the process. We used Lennar Mortgage company which I would not do again. The loan processor was slow with information if we got it at all and didn't tell us critical things we needed to know, we finally had to get his boss involved before things turned around. We are happy with the house and the final walk through was great, as Mike was very accommodating in getting the things done that were found.

Ronnie our realtor is Amazing! Ian our contractor is also Amazing. We love our home and we have great neighbors. However most of the neighbors agree that gutters should have already been installed plus hardware for bathrooms. Light fixtures are antiquated. Lots of caulking in bathroom and shower was not completed. Front door lock is hard to lock. HOA is very difficult to work with, they control everything about your home. You can’t even change your mulch or bark without asking for approval not to mention buying a tree or a bush.All the neighbors complain about HOA.

The salesperson could have been more friendly and accommodating. It felt very unwelcoming. The construction manager we had went out with pregnancy complications twice. Both times, no one followed up on her jobs. We were left hanging having no idea why she wasn’t returning phone calls. I think someone should follow up with clients when their construction manager is out more than 2 days.

Its about what you would expect from a new build these days. They rush and hire whatever subs are cheapest for the budget. people get paid by working fast, not better. and so theres lots of errors or crappy workmanship garage still had dent in it. they painted front door because it had a dent, but in doing so got some paint on the door handle. Staples in the carpet sticking up everywhere. sharpie on the slab beneath rising to the top of our cheap flooring as blue marks.
