Closed on a property with a water view. Paid a premium for it then Lennar put up a 6 foot high vinyl fence to block it!

Everything was going great until someone from Lennar ordered a 6 ft high vinyl fence to be installed blocking a water view of a beautiful pond after everyone closed on their property. Supposedly the salespeople didn't know that a fence was going up. They sold us the property with a premium for that view. So they took our money then blocked the view with the fence! Someone at Lennar needs to be held responsible and fired. It's a shame because of this situation it has ruined a great home buying experience for many of us. They need to take the fence down!

Purchasing the home we had an excellent experience. Once closing was completed and the punch list needed to be addressed our texts and phone calls are not being returned. The repairs are not being addressed and it’s been almost 60 days.

The purchasing process including using Lennar mortgage was wonderful. My issues began when I closed before a few things were repaired and almost 2 months later I still have issues that haven’t been addressed. My contact was moved before the issues were resolved and customer service has stepped in to try to help. I am super frustrated at the communication post sale. I was not shown how anything worked in my walkthrough nor was I given any information. My precious new construction purchase was much better post sale. Our overall experience with Lennar has been good. We are very disappointed in their choice of materials for the faux stone on the exterior which didn’t allow application of the stone per architectural drawings. They left a 5” gap at the bottom leaving exposed foundation. We are also disappointed that the vanities they chose in the bathrooms have no drawers. Extremely inconvenient. We closed in October and still have 5 incomplete items from our punch list. Make sure everything is completed before you close.

The Salesperson that sold us this house and our last home was excellent. GC was great goes out of his way to solve problems, but he shouldn’t have to deal with a lot of these issues as the subcontractors should do a better job. The materials and workmanship leave a lot on the table. I have sheet rock issues, walls have waves in them, ceiling where HVAC Vent is has seem cracking . Finish sanding work is horrible. The home was spray painted and many areas weren’t finish sanded but we’re still painted. Didn’t clean the floors or walls before painting and dirt in paint on finished walls. Some of ...

The buying experience was great. The product needs some improvement. Some of this is your design people's issue; 1. Exterior wall mounted light fixture design is too low. Hit your head when you walk out the door, turn to the driveway. I'm only 6'-0" tall. 2. Tankless water heater (aside from it's questionable functioning) is mounted on the opposite side of the house and father to the front away from where the bathrooms are located... so it takes a long time for hot water to get to the usage point. Make sure when you take your final walk thru that all work was performed to standards. The quality of my home was not to the standards that a Lennar home is known for and I feel that it is because they are rushing to build the homes to get more built quickly.

Responsiveness….. they should have given me the option to give them a Zero. NOT including the sales staff, Gregg and ED who are great! I closed on my house in March 2022. I still have A punch list that needs to be completed. I realize they’re busy building new homes but, I would like somebody To communicate with me as to when They are going to Complete my home for which they have been paid. After moving into the house and living in it we have found screw heads coming through all the walls, doors needing tightening so rain does not come through, driveway cracked where you can actually pick a piece out, concrete walkway not good workmanship, we have only lived in the house for a little over a month. I had a great experience with Lennar. It was a fast close.1 month to the day! I am very happy with the price, quality and Workmanship. Daniel and his team were very responsive and professional . My only issue where I felt stress was in the mortgage process. I was a Realtor in my previous location. I understand that closings are stressful. The issue I had was in the process. Closing on the house was confusing, we were given no updates until about a week before the closing when WE finally contacted Lennar and asked what was going on. The program the closing office was using to electronically sign didn't work, and they had to switch to a different program which stressed me out on a very busy day for me at work. The office we went to to pick up the keys was disorganized and very crowded with many people all trying to close.
