My initial contact was an older lady at the model for Arcadia. She was horrible and would have turned me against Lennar for all time because of her terrible attitude even though I found what I thought was my perfect house. I fell across another model of that house in a new development called hidden lines and that’s when Lennar redeemed themselves. Laura is amazing and the only reason I bought my present house from him his builder. There isn’t enough bytes on the internet to describe how amazing she is. My builder Jason was also very good but his hands were tied because of his boss with a ...

Lennar comes up short in the finish work in my opinion.

I would like to compliment the Lennar team of workers that keep this ship moving in the right direction. No easy task. Had great interactions along the way with everyone, sales (Greg), project managers (Miguel & Kimberly) and Sam on the Customer service end. Very professional and helpful. Started off with a non responsive and overwhelmed project manager, which was switched to a new but too late in the project. A lot was missed in the finish work that should have been caught by inspections and managers. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. Here are SOME of the ...

Looking to maximize profit for stockholders, Lennar overlooked the homebuyer by selecting mostly average quality (at best) features throughout, i.e., kitchen and bath cabinets, baseboards, door moldings, closet shelving, etc. Top that by not painting the garage or by selling upgraded "luxury" kitchens which don't even have a refrigerator and you have Lennar at its best. Heavy use of sheetrock mud, paint and caulking attempts to hide many of the workmanship flaws. It cannot be overstated, inspect EVERYTHING for operation and flaws prior to the developer's walkthrough and give them the list. ...

Overall it was a good experience. I liked the model immediately. Having built houses before, I was somewhat disappointed with the interior paint job and the choice of carpet. There were other examples of a careless job. The flooring could prove to be problematic. The word that comes to mind is "rushed" because this is such a large development and people are buying houses quickly. I wish that I had been able to give input and change some things. I feel very comfortable in the house and will make changes after I have lived here longer.

It started well, but we are now on our 4th contractor. We love the house, but still waiting on screens. They planted sod right after framing was done, but there were delays, so our new sod went unwatered for months.

Aaron saw to it that my dead sod was replaced. Jamon did good to get a plumber to fix some things BUT, my front door does not close correctly and they said they would replace it. No communication from Jamon and no action so far in over 6 weeks. Contacted Jamon again a week later. He apologized…but still no action on my door. Please be honest, timely and forthright and don’t just shine people. It’s insulting.

Kim has been very responsive when I have questions. I did feel "pressure" to close ASAP despoite the fact it was a cash sale. I was in Maine at the time and felt I had to buy without the opportunity to see the property in person.

The support services offered by Lennar through myLennar were not available to me and should not have been offered. We do like the unit and have been busy making it our own. However, as we settle in, I find the workmanship less than expected for a $260K home. Materials are not highest quality (patio door is too heavy to open and does not lock), and painting was obviously rushed. Concrete patio is small and interior of garage could easily have been painted before moving in. These simple and relatively inexpensive "touches" would really elevate your finished product.

We had a good feeling when we saw the listing for the new Fieldview community. We went right over and met Gregg. He was so helpful and understanding with what we were looking for. We loved the house so much, we put a deposit down that same day. Liz, the construction manager, was outstanding! She did the walk thru with us. She was very knowledgeable about the water heater and other things in the house that I wasn't familiar with. She made everything about this buying experience, great! Only disappointing part of our experience with Lennar, was their financial department. We had trouble ...

I feel like they are in such a hurry to throw these houses up that the workmanship gets compromised. I have been in my home for 2 months and have had multiple repair orders put in 4 things that should have been taken care of the first time. I feel like once they get your name on the dotted line you are just a number. They are more concerned with getting their bonuses then the customer experience of getting a quality product. Not having a pool in Phase 5 was a terrible decision on the part of the builder. 1 pool for all of Belle Harbor is ridiculous.

We purchased a home that was completed prior to being put up for sale. We had minimal interactions with the builders. We did interact with Kim, who is the owners representative between the builder and you. We had a positive experience with her, Our main issues was with the Lennar Mortgage Department. Although they all were friendly and professional, they are put under a strict time frame to close on these homes that many mistakes were made. We closed within 22 days of signing contracts, our closing costs and estimates changed 4 times including the APR. Our intent is to pay off this ...

I was not very impressed whatsoever with the entire process. Never once did my salesman take the initiative to send me any photos of the construction process being that I am out of state. They told me they would do that. If the non-English-speaking crews that came in to complete each phase was not paid until the work was done to satisfaction, the quality of work would be much better. I feel as though there is absolutely no supervision, just everyone collecting a pay. sure, the houses look great from the outside but speak a different story upon closer inspection. The lending process was like ...

The workers hired to build the home were not craftsman. I've been around master carpenters and furniture makers all of my life and they would not have hired the workers that built my new home. The finish work is disappointing.

Hi - I recently purchased an Augusta townhouse in Preserve at Pine Lakes. There have been disappointments, I must admit. Currently experiencing lots of ants and some roaches. Does not appear Lennar treats the earth for insects prior to building, and apparently ground joints not sealed well. Finish and trim poorly done: floor molding in places thrown on hurriedly, cut incorrectly and installed without correction. Out of the way spots with rough edges (eg, door casings bottoms) and no caulk at all (eg, upstairs bathroom, casing at bottom of banister). Workers apparently being pushed for ...
