The over all aspect of the build from the sales department to the project manager was five star. However, The finance aspect of the project was not very professional and misleading at times and very unresponsive, and when we did have a problem and tried to fix it, they did absolutely nothing for us, except create bigger problems. In conclusion, I would never use them to finance ever again.

Overall a good experience

Was in a hurry to close due to wife having hip replacement surgery . So did not do a thorough inspection did not use a real estate agent two mistakes I will not repeat . Overall quality seems good just poor trim and finishing work .

Overall the house is very well built. Do not have many options during the build such as electric range vs gas stove but the appliances and fixtures are very good. Very few issues with the house after completion. Customer support teams are excellent. I would buy Lennar again.

Laura F. in the sales department was great, with frequent communications and helpfulness. The closing process was smooth. My only complaint about the sales and closing process (which is a plus, actually, in the current market), is that the closing date was pushed ahead by a month and I had a temporary rental that I could not get out of, so had 2 properties for 2 months. Which DID allow a slow move-in, with ability to have contractors do work without the home being cluttered with boxes and large furniture being placed (getting in the way of painting and the like). My big "nit pick" is that Lennar advertises "everything's included" and it's FAR from that. Some things ARE included that I don't feel necessary, like the smart home features (need to add a lot of components to make it a worthwhile system - the homes are generally long and dead spots are an issue, for example - and they are pricey), while others, like patio screening and an open patio (this is the South and a beach area; folks want to be outdoors), assist bars in showers and tubs (many buying in this area are 55+, hello), blinds, ceiling fans, and a painted garage are not. But, to be honest, this is the current state of the building industry. My sister owns a home built in 2016 and it's shocking to see how many features were standard back then (different builder) and are not today. My advice is to expect a LOT of needed additions and a big budget would be helpful. ... More

Brad the construction manager represents Lennar well. Hes been very responsive to this point with issues I've had with the home. There's a couple more issues left to get fixed.

I bought my house remotely. So from a distance I found the buying experience frustrating because communication with several different people was not as smooth as I expected. I bought cash which should had made the process easier. I had to many times remind people the I was buying cash.

Our sales rep Wayne was awesome to work with when finding our home. Kevin was great helping us with our mortgage paperwork. We did not have a great experience with the closing process. No communication, asking for things 2 or 3 times. Waited till the last minute to give us our final numbers. Def needs to get better.

I've very happy with my new home in Brunswick Plantations. Lennar's team have helped me all along the buying and moving in experience. They have been responsive to making fixes since moving in, and hopefully they'll continue to work out all of the kinks as promised.

My sales agent, Holly was wonderful. She gave me pros, cons, suggestions for buying, and showed sincere help thru all the steps of buying. She enabled a good price, great closing help from Lennar, answered all my questions concerning the townhouse, such as location in development, financial questions, HOA concerns, location of mailboxes, pool, etc. , the Lennar people I needed to talk to, closing questions, etc. Her response was excellent and she was very friendly.

Good value for the money. Utilities are a little higher here and propane is not something I like as much as natural gas but all the new homes at Saddle Ridge have propane tanks. Builder has been responsive to issues and they have a rep to work with for unresolved problems.

Good experience with customer services

Overall good value for new home construction in Myrtle Beach. Construction managers were all very nice and responsive. They kept us updated on construction progress, and we attended the pre-drywall meeting (definitely recommend everyone doing this). My biggest issue (and in speaking with our neighbors it is the same) is the final finishes. Drywall final skim and sand not so great, so any undulations and repairs they made are still visible. Trim and 1/4 round is some areas was not installed with pride in craftmanship. I know some builders have a "finishing team" that comes in a few days before closing to address some of these issues, but it doesn't appear that Lennar does this. And if they do, maybe they missed our house and few others on the street. Also, I wish they offered certain upgrades that we could have paid for (ie. chef's kitchen, double wall oven, flooring upgrades), but Lennar does not allow this. The builder was overwhelmed with closings and could not complete construction on our home by closing. Punch out items took an additional week after closing. We placed on contract on a nearly completed home one month prior, but the builder prioritized other homes over this one for completion.

Overall it was a pretty smooth transaction from the builders end of it. The floor plan is real nice, a lot of the finishes are nice and the upgraded plank flooring is beautiful. Biggest complaint is the walls/paint/sheetrock, some of the walls are NOT straight, bows in them from the get go, many neighbors have seen the same thing in their homes walls. Paint is builder quality cheap- so count on painting walls yourself because any time you touch them it leaves a mark and you cannot clean them like you good a good quality paint. overall, walls aside- I am real happy with the house and the Lennar sales team and online team was top notch. ... Keep you updated on the property and building status

Every house comes with it its challenges. But the best part of my new buying experience was dealing with a particular Lennar representative named Ryan. He went above and beyond to answer our many questions and always made himself available. He is a great representation of the Lennar brand.

I've had some ongoing challenges with concrete pouring on the patio and the stone trim in the front of my house. When I asked for a replacement, people came over my house multiple times to replace it. When the subcontractor finally showed up, the stone trim was a different color (light rose vs light gray) and told me "don't worry... the color will fade." I am no contractor, but I'm not stupid and had to ask this person leave my property, which prompted the site construction team to not use them in the future. Lennar tried to this, but due to work restrictions, this has not been fixed for months, and I have to keep calling to remind them not forget about this. Also, consider an alternative to financing, as the folks they work with just do not give straight answers. ... More
