For the most part buying my townhouse was great. It happened much quicker than I was expecting but the price was right and I loved the community. However the deal almost fell through because their coordinator Maggie didn't communicate with anyone and yet everything hindged on her communication. I was left scrambling to make the deal work, but it got done and Earl made sure that it did. He really helped me by stepping in and helping to move things along. Now I are in the place and very happy.

Coordinating the settlement and the inspection was not a very good experience. We showed up at the scheduled time no one was available. The coordinator couldn’t be located. Someone else filled in to take us through the inspection. Settlement papers had to be redone twice due to poor communication between the coordinator and legal council.

A lot of work, a lot of documents. Got to keep up with the agents. The faster you get the requests done the faster you move on to the next step. Then put your trust in the agents as you do not have time to review the contracts.

Process was smooth from start to finish. Overall a good process. All the Lennar reps were pleasant and very responsive. Our agent Laura was fantastic.

I bought my house remotely. So from a distance I found the buying experience frustrating because communication with several different people was not as smooth as I expected. I bought cash which should had made the process easier. I had to many times remind people the I was buying cash.

We had a good experience from the beginning until we got to the loan portion of the process. We used Lennar Mortgage company which I would not do again. The loan processor was slow with information if we got it at all and didn't tell us critical things we needed to know, we finally had to get his boss involved before things turned around. We are happy with the house and the final walk through was great, as Mike was very accommodating in getting the things done that were found.

The date of my closing was changed by someone and I was not told. If it was not for the individual from Lennar, who was to do the walk through with me a day ahead of time, the closing would not have happened. He became aware when his calendar showed the walkthrough happening after the closure. He was the one that brought it to my attention. I was lucky and my insurance people were able to adjust my insurance dates. It seemed to me that someone dropped the ball, on Lennar's end, and did not even offer an apology. For the few issues I have had they have done an excellent job in resolving them.

Our sales rep Wayne was awesome to work with when finding our home. Kevin was great helping us with our mortgage paperwork. We did not have a great experience with the closing process. No communication, asking for things 2 or 3 times. Waited till the last minute to give us our final numbers. Def needs to get better.

I've very happy with my new home in Brunswick Plantations. Lennar's team have helped me all along the buying and moving in experience. They have been responsive to making fixes since moving in, and hopefully they'll continue to work out all of the kinks as promised.

We bought the Muirwood plan, and love it except for a few minor details. The drawers in the kitchen do not glide smoothly. They are cheap drawer glides. I will need to upgrade them post-closing. The bathroom cabinets that are not directly under a sink in the Master could have been standard cabinets with one drawer and that's typically not much more expensive than the no-drawer, sink base version. Those center cabinets in the Master would have been better if they had at least 3 drawers. IN the tiled areas, we found several places where the grout was not fully cleaned off the tiles by the installers. And the lack of gutters is causing a problem with erosion, also up to me to fix post-closing. The biggest oversight, however is the difference between the size of the refrigerator space and the passage ways to get a fridge in. There is no door large enough for a full depth fridge that occupies the full width of the refrigerator space. Once you get in past the widest door opening (front), you still have to get past the kitchen island. This is a design flaw. Making the island counter just a few inches smaller would both save Lennar money and facilitate getting a full-sized fridge into the kitchen, so that homeowners don't have to look at a large gap in the refrigerator space due to a smaller fridge. Also, sales staff should have on hand literature from FOCUS broadband disclosing the specific plans that are available at that time. My sales agent, Holly was wonderful. She gave me pros, cons, suggestions for buying, and showed sincere help thru all the steps of buying. She enabled a good price, great closing help from Lennar, answered all my questions concerning the townhouse, such as location in development, financial questions, HOA concerns, location of mailboxes, pool, etc. , the Lennar people I needed to talk to, closing questions, etc. Her response was excellent and she was very friendly.

Our salesperson was outstanding. He was very thorough and responsive to questions during and after buying phase.

Good value for the money. Utilities are a little higher here and propane is not something I like as much as natural gas but all the new homes at Saddle Ridge have propane tanks. Builder has been responsive to issues and they have a rep to work with for unresolved problems.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. I was very hesitant buying a new construction build as I have read many reviews stating numerous problems. I've only been in my new home for a little over a month, I've had some issues that the builder addressed quickly. Quality of some construction materials are poor, no doubt to keep build costs at a minimum. That being said, the purchase price would have been higher if better materials were used. Despite the stated issues, I'm still satisfied with my purchase.

Experience was great the only draw back I had was closing , was pushed to sign paperwork early , to close end of August. To find out at later date gas lines were not installed to the development . Push closing back till end of September. After I sold my home I was with a place to stay for a month .

Good experience with customer services

Overall good value for new home construction in Myrtle Beach. Construction managers were all very nice and responsive. They kept us updated on construction progress, and we attended the pre-drywall meeting (definitely recommend everyone doing this). My biggest issue (and in speaking with our neighbors it is the same) is the final finishes. Drywall final skim and sand not so great, so any undulations and repairs they made are still visible. Trim and 1/4 round is some areas was not installed with pride in craftmanship. I know some builders have a "finishing team" that comes in a few days before closing to address some of these issues, but it doesn't appear that Lennar does this. And if they do, maybe they missed our house and few others on the street. Also, I wish they offered certain upgrades that we could have paid for (ie. chef's kitchen, double wall oven, flooring upgrades), but Lennar does not allow this. The over all aspect of the build from the sales department to the project manager was five star. However, The finance aspect of the project was not very professional and misleading at times and very unresponsive, and when we did have a problem and tried to fix it, they did absolutely nothing for us, except create bigger problems. In conclusion, I would never use them to finance ever again.

The warranty Department have gone about and beyond our expectations!!!!

Overall a good experience

Our experience with the Lennar team has been very good from the beginning. House was reasonably priced, done on time and has the expected minor issues so far. Steve the site manager was excellent in response to our questions and concerns throughout the entire process. Ronnie and his warranty folks have been great reacting and scheduling any issues we have had. The entire home buying experience has been smooth going from start to finish.
