Was in a hurry to close due to wife having hip replacement surgery . So did not do a thorough inspection did not use a real estate agent two mistakes I will not repeat . Overall quality seems good just poor trim and finishing work .

Holly was very helpful in facilitating our buying experience. She was always prompt and pleasant in answering our calls. The home loan experience would be better with one data form for a married couple instead of duplicating the process (really got complicated). Billy was exceptional in facilitating our warranty issues. We are now enjoying our wonderful home! Great location!

Overall the house is very well built. Do not have many options during the build such as electric range vs gas stove but the appliances and fixtures are very good. Very few issues with the house after completion. Customer support teams are excellent. I would buy Lennar again.

Laura F. in the sales department was great, with frequent communications and helpfulness. The closing process was smooth. My only complaint about the sales and closing process (which is a plus, actually, in the current market), is that the closing date was pushed ahead by a month and I had a temporary rental that I could not get out of, so had 2 properties for 2 months. Which DID allow a slow move-in, with ability to have contractors do work without the home being cluttered with boxes and large furniture being placed (getting in the way of painting and the like). My big "nit pick" is that Lennar advertises "everything's included" and it's FAR from that. Some things ARE included that I don't feel necessary, like the smart home features (need to add a lot of components to make it a worthwhile system - the homes are generally long and dead spots are an issue, for example - and they are pricey), while others, like patio screening and an open patio (this is the South and a beach area; folks want to be outdoors), assist bars in showers and tubs (many buying in this area are 55+, hello), blinds, ceiling fans, and a painted garage are not. But, to be honest, this is the current state of the building industry. My sister owns a home built in 2016 and it's shocking to see how many features were standard back then (different builder) and are not today. My advice is to expect a LOT of needed additions and a big budget would be helpful. ... More

Our buying experience hasn’t ended yet. Before we move into our new home we want to get additional work done on it. The interior paint was a flat dull gray on the walls, and the ceilings were a little lighter flat gray. My wife could not live with all that gray flat paint. I mean flat paint is the cheapest paint money can buy. Also, it isn’t practical at all. Get a smudge on it and it’s there to stay! So we got a nice satin paint all around. Now we’re getting more shelving added in all of the bigger closets. Our biggest complaint regarding our Lennar experience is the fact that we had virtually no choices in anything, ie cabinets, countertops, carpet, interior color, exterior color, etc. the only choice we had was which of the floor plans on the few available lots we could get. When we purchase a half million dollar home we expect to have a few more choices. In this bull real estate market, the developers have the luxury of dictating to the buyers instead of the buyers telling them specifically what we want. Guess I’m a little old school for this type of sales and marketing… We do think that our new home is basically sound construction in all the phases. I personally think the quality of construction is better than the other national builders in our area such as, DR Horton, Pulte, Beazer, Dale Webb, etc. We’ve only encountered one problem thus far. Our landscaper could not get the irrigation system to work. He said our grass was distressed and nearly dead because of a lack of water. So we called Lennar, SC MB. We actually got a real person on the phone. I described our irrigation problem to the nice lady and she made a call and got the problem taken care of almost immediately!!! What a pleasant surprise!! The builder was overwhelmed with closings and could not complete construction on our home by closing. Punch out items took an additional week after closing. We placed on contract on a nearly completed home one month prior, but the builder prioritized other homes over this one for completion.

Overall it was a pretty smooth transaction from the builders end of it. The floor plan is real nice, a lot of the finishes are nice and the upgraded plank flooring is beautiful. Biggest complaint is the walls/paint/sheetrock, some of the walls are NOT straight, bows in them from the get go, many neighbors have seen the same thing in their homes walls. Paint is builder quality cheap- so count on painting walls yourself because any time you touch them it leaves a mark and you cannot clean them like you good a good quality paint. overall, walls aside- I am real happy with the house and the Lennar sales team and online team was top notch. ... There are some “punch list “ issues that still have not been addressed. There are a few areas with workmanship. Some corners were cut, but overall we’re very happy with our new home

Brad the construction manager represents Lennar well. Hes been very responsive to this point with issues I've had with the home. There's a couple more issues left to get fixed.

Ryan our construction supervisor was amazing. He pulled together many issues that were beyond his control and ensured that we were completely satisfied. He was very easy to befriend and earned our trust with his follow through. Ryan, we'd like thank you for completing Lennar's commitments to our satisfaction.

Only been in Brunswick County, NC for a few months. I can not give opinions on build yet when it comes to materials/craftsmanship as I just moved in 3 mos ago. If it stays like this, I'll be very happy. Any small issues we've had, Lennar handled promptly and to our satisfaction. So far very happy. I do believe the price was a bit high but, we wanted the location

Sales person at the show home helped make the moving / home-buying experience easier than I thought.

John,Daniel and James were all very responsive and attentive to any issues that we had.

We purchased a POND VIEW for an additional premium and after closing a 6 foot privacy fence was installed blocking any view of the pond. Lennar knew they were installing this fence but waited until all units were under contract before doing this. We would never have purchased this lot if we knew we paid to look at a high white fence for the rest of our lives. I'm also sure this review will never see the light of day!

My initial contact was an older lady at the model for Arcadia. She was horrible and would have turned me against Lennar for all time because of her terrible attitude even though I found what I thought was my perfect house. I fell across another model of that house in a new development called hidden lines and that’s when Lennar redeemed themselves. Laura is amazing and the only reason I bought my present house from him his builder. There isn’t enough bytes on the internet to describe how amazing she is. My builder Jason was also very good but his hands were tied because of his boss with a couple issues I wanted adjusted or done. Then with a rush to close, I noticed many discrepancies in the quality of the build. One of which is more annoying that my windows (some of them) aren’t square. They taper making it impossible to fit blinds consistently. We’ll see if anyone will make it right under the warranty. ... More

The buying process was very quick.

We lived out of state and was bought the house site unseen. When we contacted lennar we had a salesman contact us. He was pretty good at keeping in contact until the closing. There were a few issues that had to be addressed, however, most were taken care of before the closing. The fact that we cannot get prints to the house is a little irritating considering if we need to do any upgrading or remodeling, we don’t know where anything is running in the home. We understand the prints are property of lennar, but the prints could be stamped and given to the owners. Steve, our construction supervisor has been absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable with everything. It would have been nice to see that there were actually houses going to be built behind us before we put the down payment down. We would have chosen another lot. We also had to go to another builders website to see the community space that is behind built, so that may want to be updated on Lennar’s website. ... More
