Please know when you buy a smart home from them you will be setting up 95% of it without anyone's help from Lennar. They just want you to put down the deposit for your home and once that happens they completely stop trying or caring. I was told by an employee actually that Lennar is cheap. However, I love my house. They did a really good job with it overall, but please don't be fooled by the glamour of your house because nothing is what it seems with them with their rude employees.

Very bad communication along the sales cycle and home construction.

Lennars' is working on the model of " quantity before quality ". They lack the small but important detail on their homes. The subcontractors appear to be working on getting the homes built quick and ignoring things that need extra time.

I did not enjoy doing everything online. My phone calls were not always returned in a timely manner. The builders left sticky stuff on the floors, the paint lines aren’t very straight, the quality of the paint is terrible although a beautiful color. The interior doors and cabinets are trash, the finish is peeling off them on the edges. The dampers weren’t put in, so our downstairs stayed cold and upstairs stayed hot until that was repaired. The sliding door frame was left a mess with concrete mud or something all over it. The garage is too small for anything other than a compact vehicle and I drive an SUV. There is no room for visitor parking because all the people who live near it use the spaces. And the outside water meter lid won’t stay in place, it keeps falling into the hole. Pay for HOA that we were told would take care of the outside of the home but we get emails about winterizing. ... More

Buying process from start to end and with closing not good at all. Pending items are still incomplete.

Never heard back from anyone on a 30 day check up. Some of the paint issues were not taken care of. It seems like they hurry on a lot of things. Cheap work around some of the woodwork. The pool is way to small for this size of a neighborhood.

Buying my house was easy … so many inconveniences moving in. I wasn’t told about all the construction that was and is still going on. Workers & other vehicles parking on the street inhibits coming and going. Window part had to be replaced and the front door lock does not open using “Level” auto lock. Painting was being done even as I was moving in. I will say, however, Steve and Gavin have been most helpful.

Everything about the exterior is amazing. The inside quality was rushed. The painting, caulking, lighting, and details were all very poorly done. If they did not rush to get it done the house would be perfect. The craftsmanship just went out the door because of the rush for whatever reason.

From sales to building supervisors to warranty people these are great people. They are very concerned that things go right and that we are taken care of. The issue appears to be inexperienced, underqualified workers who are rushing through jobs. The quality of the workmanship and attention to details is poor. Thankfully, the staff is working to see that all issues are addressed to our satisfaction.

Casey, our sales rep was amazing and very attentive. If I was only grading him it would be perfect scores! At our orientation we were told that the person that usually does it wouldn’t be able to make due to COVID exposure. We understood that completely. So Mike (construction supervisor) did his best to fumble through the orientation. He told us that the other gentleman would schedule a follow-up in 30 days. That never happened. He also told us that they would replace a dented refrigerator door and that hasn’t happened. The workmanship on this home is below average. So many things that I couldn’t possibly list here. Also the are a lot of things that were poorly thought out by whoever designed the home. Don’t even get me started on all of the technology that we were never explained or shown how to operate. In his defense, Casey has tried to help with the tech training even though that’s not his job. Again, if not for Casey this would be. One star review. When you pay almost $450k for a new home you have certain expectations… those were not met here and it would be difficult for us to recommend Lennar as a builder. Not that none of this matters to Lennar since they are selling these houses as fast as they can build them. They’re getting their money so they apparently don’t care about the quality. Been a lot of issues with the house but the Lennar warranty people get on it quick.

Except for the level-headed and well-mannered Lennar’s coordinator (Taylor), our experience could have been permanently stored in the freezer. She was honest, trustworthy, and thoroughly well-skilled in dealing with customers’ frustration. Delay, delay, and delay typified the buying process. The signing of the contract was postponed several times to take advantage of the escalating price. But we signed one in February of 2021 with a potential closing date of June. Then, the date moved to July, August and then in September no light could be seen at the end of the tunnel. In fact, we were offered the chance to collect our deposit. Unfortunately, that was not a viable option as we were out of the country for months. Well, the prolonged delay was blamed on lack of building material particularly windows. As the delay continued, Taylor was in contact with us through facetime/zoom. She gave us regular updates and smoothened the rough edges. She was fantastic, but there was nothing she could do on her own. The big guys smoking espresso coffee in their glass offices often made the calls! Finally, we closed on November 16th, 2021, after incurring over $8000.00 in additional temporary rent and storage fees for our belonging. No space to describe the horrors and expenses of moving our belongings coast to coast due to the extended delay in closing our home. As to the quality of the workmanship, it is below average. Too many unfished items [ drywall, painting, missing light covers, loose vent hood,…] before closing. Of course, the contract was written to favor the builder. Having lived in the house for about two months, other problems have popped up. The fireplace is completely dead! The fireplace technician visited us twice. The first time, he got the flame to work, but all yellow, no blue. The second time, he struggled for one hour and literarily killed the fireplace, not even the pilot will light. The Frigidaire dishwasher is also broken. We actually narrowly escaped fire from inside the dishwasher. Lennar’s “all-included” could be fantastic if and only if attention was paid to details: 1. Home-Theater room has zero wiring. It is just a bare room. Not even a TV outlet. It should not be advertised as “home theater” 2. No HDMI outlet above the fireplace, but a closed pipe was run to it with no instruction. It was left for the homeowner to explore and detect. 3. Master bathroom should have been well-lighted even with as tiny as a 12” x 12” window. 4. No phone outlet in the main office and when pointed out, Lennar claimed it was by design. 5. Lots of rough surfaces on the drywalls. 6. The quality of the glass windows is very poor. Too much noise from all sides. 7. Painting work is horrible. Lots of bubbles on the door frames and walls 8. Poor Design work: With a 3547 sq ft. home, one would expect not to be choked in the laundry room, and master bathroom. Too much non-functional space left behind. 9. A portion of the garage was not covered with drywall 10. Hooking up to Ruckus -a wireless extension was tedious and challenging, with no clear instructions. 11. Bathroom mirrors are not framed [bare glass] 12. The drainage pipe from the roof was poorly designed and could lead to the front of the house being flooded. A small tiny French dry well could help. 13. The 2” sharp floor elevation as you enter the garage is a treacherous trap for elderly people like us. Is that a city requirement or design flaw? Overall, too much quality was compromised to minimize cost. Response to Issues: Excellent. We are very pleased with the timely response to all the issues with have raised. Ryan, our customer service coordinator is excellent. We sincerely appreciate his efforts. Overall, and considering the disruption by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are tolerant of many of the issues mentioned above. But we are sincerely hoping that no major problems will pop up. ... More

Sales group was good. Construction group was hamstrung by sub-contractors who seemed to care little for the buyer.

We closed on the house with drywall not finished—major holes in a closet and bathroom. Also a lot of paint touch ups and blue tape was still on the walls. We had a cracked step and a broken window also. Five months later.... we’re still waiting for most of the jobs to get done. In mid-August a manager came to the property and told us all the jobs would get done one day first week of September. We haven’t heard back from him, but several people have randomly shown up on different days, with little to no communication to arrange. We are so frustrated! Here it is the end of September and I still have tape all over the house. We appreciated the manager coming out.... but there has been no follow up since that day, so it seems like he just came to sweet talk us and get us to fill out the August survey with good reviews. I would buy a Lennar house again, but I will not close until the house is in the condition a brand new house should be in. ... More

We loved working with the sales team and financing. The quality of the house is lacking. We already have major issues.

It was not one banner up, nothing. After seeing the next 3 houses decorated with the same welcome celebration, I asked Noah what happen ? Why I did not get that? It was purely laughed off :(

Sales team was great. Communication of construction updates was great. House product upon completion...horrible. Cheap products used for a higher-end home and bad final product with LOTS to be worked on. Customer service followup, also bad. Like the house but disappointed on the workmanship.

Sprinkler system still not working, no response why!! Can’t named manager

Buying this house was easy. Once I moved in and began to notice the terrible attention to detail, I am regretting trusting those involved. Backyard floods- I have dogs and mud is tracked everywhere. Drywall is aweful; putty holes, unsanded parts of the walls, corners unsmoothed. Shower grout slopped on and then they expect the homebuyer to seal the grout work. My refrigerator was dented and misaligned due to damage. Tasks the construction manger promised would be taken care of never got touched. Warranty guy Jeff tries to you feel guilty for wanting/needing items fixed. It’s a beautiful house until you look closely at the attention to details/craftsmanship. There were some home reps that were just used car salesman, but for one… Taylor was great to work for. She was honest about the whole process would recommend working with her on any issues. Works when she is off.

Overall home was completed in time and love it for the most part. Some materials used were very cheap and quality not great . Doors to my office don’t close properly , will end up replacing with nicer ones . Locks to from door didn’t work , nails left in roof , all windowed left unlocked , garage not painted inside fir a house over $630k my inside of garage looks like a toddler built it . Not painted , steps have nails showing , I will need to hire someone to finish . Landscaping not great will hire someone to improve and fix . Paint on inside very cheap .

Sales agent provided misleading information. Sales team anf financial team used alot of buyer intimidation tactics. Repairs were not made from final walk through 45 days after being in the home. Home was not cleaned good for final walk through and move in. Craftsmanship of wotk is very sloppy. No pride in work.
