Love my house. Not a fan of the builders.

Please know when you buy a smart home from them you will be setting up 95% of it without anyone's help from Lennar. They just want you to put down the deposit for your home and once that happens they completely stop trying or caring. I was told by an employee actually that Lennar is cheap. However, I love my house. They did a really good job with it overall, but please don't be fooled by the glamour of your house because nothing is what it seems with them with their rude employees.

Lennars' is working on the model of " quantity before quality ". They lack the small but important detail on their homes. The subcontractors appear to be working on getting the homes built quick and ignoring things that need extra time.

I did not enjoy doing everything online. My phone calls were not always returned in a timely manner. The builders left sticky stuff on the floors, the paint lines aren’t very straight, the quality of the paint is terrible although a beautiful color. The interior doors and cabinets are trash, the finish is peeling off them on the edges. The dampers weren’t put in, so our downstairs stayed cold and upstairs stayed hot until that was repaired. Never heard back from anyone on a 30 day check up. Some of the paint issues were not taken care of. It seems like they hurry on a lot of things. Cheap work around some of the woodwork. The pool is way to small for this size of a neighborhood.

Buying my house was easy … so many inconveniences moving in. I wasn’t told about all the construction that was and is still going on. Workers & other vehicles parking on the street inhibits coming and going. Window part had to be replaced and the front door lock does not open using “Level” auto lock. Painting was being done even as I was moving in. I will say, however, Steve and Gavin have been most helpful.

Everything about the exterior is amazing. The inside quality was rushed. The painting, caulking, lighting, and details were all very poorly done. If they did not rush to get it done the house would be perfect. The craftsmanship just went out the door because of the rush for whatever reason.

From sales to building supervisors to warranty people these are great people. They are very concerned that things go right and that we are taken care of. The issue appears to be inexperienced, underqualified workers who are rushing through jobs. The quality of the workmanship and attention to details is poor. Thankfully, the staff is working to see that all issues are addressed to our satisfaction.

Casey, our sales rep was amazing and very attentive. If I was only grading him it would be perfect scores! At our orientation we were told that the person that usually does it wouldn’t be able to make due to COVID exposure. We understood that completely. So Mike (construction supervisor) did his best to fumble through the orientation. He told us that the other gentleman would schedule a follow-up in 30 days. That never happened. Except for the level-headed and well-mannered Lennar’s coordinator (Taylor), our experience could have been permanently stored in the freezer. She was honest, trustworthy, and thoroughly well-skilled in dealing with customers’ frustration. Delay, delay, and delay typified the buying process. Finish the jobs before closing!

We closed on the house with drywall not finished—major holes in a closet and bathroom. Also a lot of paint touch ups and blue tape was still on the walls. We had a cracked step and a broken window also. Five months later.... we’re still waiting for most of the jobs to get done. In mid-August a manager came to the property and told us all the jobs would get done one day first week of September. We haven’t heard back from him, but several people have randomly shown up on different days, with little to no communication to arrange. We are so frustrated! Sales team was great. Communication of construction updates was great. House product upon completion...horrible. Cheap products used for a higher-end home and bad final product with LOTS to be worked on. Customer service followup, also bad. Like the house but disappointed on the workmanship.

Buying this house was easy. Once I moved in and began to notice the terrible attention to detail, I am regretting trusting those involved. Backyard floods- I have dogs and mud is tracked everywhere. Drywall is aweful; putty holes, unsanded parts of the walls, corners unsmoothed. Shower grout slopped on and then they expect the homebuyer to seal the grout work. My refrigerator was dented and misaligned due to damage. Tasks the construction manger promised would be taken care of never got touched. There were some home reps that were just used car salesman, but for one… Taylor was great to work for. She was honest about the whole process would recommend working with her on any issues. Works when she is off.

Overall home was completed in time and love it for the most part. Some materials used were very cheap and quality not great . Doors to my office don’t close properly , will end up replacing with nicer ones . Locks to from door didn’t work , nails left in roof , all windowed left unlocked , garage not painted inside fir a house over $630k my inside of garage looks like a toddler built it . Not painted , steps have nails showing , I will need to hire someone to finish . Landscaping not great will hire someone to improve and fix . Paint on inside very cheap .

Sales agent provided misleading information. Sales team anf financial team used alot of buyer intimidation tactics. Repairs were not made from final walk through 45 days after being in the home. Home was not cleaned good for final walk through and move in. Craftsmanship of wotk is very sloppy. No pride in work.
