The workmanship of the contractors is absolutely horrible. It seems like things are just thrown together. We had entire trim areas not painted, holes behind bathroom hardware, nails missing in shower drain and outdoor shutters...etc. This is the second home that we have built, and the final product's quality has been devastating to say the least. It is my hope that future homebuyers experience contractors who want to do their best for every homebuyer and that the building/project manager communicates and evaluates employees in such a way that a culture of excellence is created.

As it was with the first Lennar home, it was great working with our realtor Casey again. He was very tentative and always on top of the process. Truly a great person to do business with. Jeff, our project manager was great at what he did. Always made you feel like your home was the only home he was building. Anything you asked or any issues that arose, he was very quick to get them resolved.

The trades they use do not do quality work. We have found that very cheap materials are used to cut costs and they are very hard to get out and fix any issues. We have dozens of items waiting to be fixed and our Lennar rep is unresponsive. I’m so disappointed in this company, as the houses cost more than they are worth, and as homeowners we should be able to expect quality for $400k. If we could do the homebuying process again we would not use Lennar. Be sure to get your own inspections done, and avoid Lennars mortgage company if you are able. They have a waiting list of people a mile long waiting for houses, so their customer service is shotty because there are plenty of families who would take the house if you choose to not move forward with the purchase. I felt almost bullied into leaving some of the issues. I just want my home to be safe for my kids and issue free, which is why we chose to buy a new build, but Lennars lack of quality has kept me up at night and made me nervous we didn’t make the right choice. Quality built, beautiful home + easy process from start to finish!

We purchased our town home site unseen from a different state. Working with Taylor and the Lennar team long distance was a challenge, but they bent over backward to make sure we were taken care of and only had to make one trip to Tennessee. Our tenants love the house and are very happy there.

We were pleased with the process of purchasing our new home in Blackman Station, Lennar homes is quality conscience and did a great job!

Everything y was great and Lennar did what they said they would do!

The buying and building experience was great. The only things I would have changed was is having higher quality paint and laying sod in the back yard.

I would just like to say that I am extremely pleased with my home. I love it!

Was a good easy experience. We didn’t visit the building site very often as they did what they said. When we did the walk through they were quick to fix the few things that needed fixing. Overall, very pleased

Everything went smooth until after closing. I moved in with broken windows and a promise they would be replaced. 4 months later I’m still waiting for them to be replaced. The lack of communication is ridiculous. I called the “customer service rep” and he didn’t even have the decency to call me back. His response to my phone call was to just copy me on an email to someone else . Didn’t even waste his time sending me an email directly addressing my issues/ questions.

Sales group was good. Construction group was hamstrung by sub-contractors who seemed to care little for the buyer.

Was the first home so basically the trial house. Lots of things missed or just overlooked. No QC was done before final walk through. Currently dealing with mold in attic and high humidity in home. Will update depending on how Lennar handles these.

Absolutely the worst. We’ve lived in our new home for 4 months and the entire house is a disaster. I’ve had dozens of work orders through the warranty. Most of the items were repaired poorly but many of them haven’t been fixed at all. As I type this I have 2 windows that need replaced, over 200 drywall patches that need to be sanded and painted, over 20 cracked floor boards, and a completely sanded staircase with No stain available to fix it. These are just a few of the issues off the top of my head. Every issue I’ve listed has had well over the 60 days lennar has to fix them. The homebuying experience was no joy either. The lennar realtor sent us the wrong contract and included features list, which we signed and went under contract with. Only to find out we didn’t have all the included items, like a refrigerator. When we asked he said he sent us the wrong contract and he would gladly sell our house to someone else if we wanted to continue trying to get the things promised to us in our contract. So we were forced to buy a new $3000 refrigerator on our own, even though our contract stated we’d get one from lennar. The experience with lennar is so bad that we’ve decided to move. Poor quality of materials, framing bad so walls crooked and cabinets hung crooked. Cheap recessed lights and cheap cabinets. Never experienced a builder that does standby their work and do a 12 month punch list. Still issues outstanding and things not working correctly and I only closed 4 months ago.

Love my floor plan and the space. Quality was an issue due to the amount of houses being built at the same time. More attention could have been paid to details. Paint Job and quality of paint I would rate a 2

Everything was and still is great.

The process of building a home was smooth with regular updates from the construction manager and new home consultant. We were briefed almost every week on the progress being made. However, there were numerous errors in the build. Framing issues, incorrect finish materials, etc. that were caught by us and not the construction manager. Work had to be redone. This was a bit concerning, as it was apparent attention to details was not happening. The lack of keeping the trades accountable for acceptable and correct work translated in us closing on a home that had a wall that needed major repairs, stairs being re-stained, a poorly stained front door, and poorly painted and finished parts of the home. All of this should have been caught before we closed on the home. Lennar was so fixated on keeping the original closing date, work was rushed. Quick and Quality are not usually compatible. This has made our warranty consultant have to work extra hard to rectify all the issues that should have happened in the build phase. Plus it has been extremely inconvenient to our family to deal with drywall dust and construction after we've moved in. I will say Lennar has made good on all the issues we've found after move in and done it with a great attitude. That is a plus for them standing by their product. However, Lennar really needs to up their game on quality control during the build phase. Overall, I am happy with the house. Would we build with Lennar again? We are leaning toward no. ... More

Mike and Ryan went over the top making sure everything was up to par. The house is beautiful and I would always want to work with these guys in future home purchases!
