Lennar (at Malone) was very forthright with any complications during the build process. They kept us appraised of new developments and progress on our new build along the way--including sending us pictures-- which I thought was a very nice touch. Michael in the front office always took his time to respond sincerely and concisely to any queries we had, and allayed our fear with the right information. There is also no "upsell" with this company-- what you see is what you get. Whatever wasn't done to your satisfaction will be fixed. Since moving in, every little fault we have found from minor issues to exterior paint complaints to drywall repair and so on, Chris, Andrew and team has sent professionals to fix it. It does take a little bit of time (I have even heard some grumblings about that), but I understand workloads these folks go through, and they have always shown up. It hasn't been an easy year or two (snowed in, rains, coronavirus) but the dedicated speed and professionalism that this team has worked with while maintaining quality has truly been commendable. I wanted to move in on the closing date that was promised. So I was ok if there were 2 or 3 items that could be fixed later. But I had around 45 items on the list. After 4 months, there are still several items that haven't been fixed. Especially the windows have so many scratches. Contractors from different companies have visited and taken a note of all the issues. Still there is no resolution. The painting/Stain on the rails are so poorly done. The house was not cleaned and I still dont have this resolved on the places where I cant reach. I would never trust Lennar with such poor experience.

Had a issue with my front door lock. Came out twice to fix it. All done in the same day as the call!

Easy process. Provided option of using their mortgage co, title co, & homeowner’s insurance co so I didn’t have to find these on my own. Web site provided information on utility services to set up.

The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. It was the worst experience we have ever had in home buying and this was our 6th home. Aside from that, our home was built fairly well, and during our acceptance only a few smallish repairs needed, and the construction manager handled those well. Eagle Home Mortgage, for us, was unprofessional to the point of amateurish and bumbling. Never once were we apologized to for their ineptitude and wholly unsatisfactory customer service. In fact, after all the delays, due to their incompetence, they had the gall to charge us more points because of those delays. I recommend never using Eagle Home Mortgage, if you can avoid them. ... If Lennar had spent just 1 or 2 more weeks rather than rush to close the home before the end of their fiscal quarter and month, the home would have been in a better quality. Same issue with everybody in the neighborhood. Lennar definitely preyed on the goodwill and naivete of first time home buyers and dangled the 1 year "bumper to bumper" warranty to get their inventory sold. First time home buyers beware! I would not recommend a Lennar/Village Builder new build to anyone. Thankfully, the issues are fixed one by one and the home is in great shape now.

This is my second Lennar home. These homes have good “bones”. Great response for warranty repairs. Thank you Lennar!

My wife and I love our home. It's beautiful Inside and out. We can't really comment on the responsiveness to issues because this virus has shut everything down. Lennar has been wonderful to work with through out the whole process of getting and owning our home.

Lennar has a good team for getting through the administrative work. I’d love to see a little more quality control with some of the workmanship. I have had a few irrigation issues and some things were missed like termite protection. Some over cuts on the exterior siding. The fixtures for plumbing have a bit of a cheap feel. I really like the focus on energy efficiency. Overall is a pretty good cookie cutter home.

The quality of the workmanship was subpar. Some issues are too large to be resolved, like drywall texture on most walls of the house. Overall lower quality product.

We highly recommend purchasing a home with Lennar. From the moment we stepped in the sales office at we were greeted and made to feel welcome by the sales consultant. Being our first time to purchase a home we had lots of questions. But our sales consultant did everything to assure us and get our questions answered. Everyone we dealt with up until closing were very helpful, and made us feel like we mattered and appreciated our business. My husband and I highly recommend a Lennar home where "Everything is included" and it truly is.

The craftsmanship for this home was definitely lacking. Concrete Foundation: numerous area had to be refinished because much of the concrete stayed on the forms. I don’t know a whole lot but I’ve never seen concrete having to be refinished as much as this one. Drywall: Many imperfections were noticed after move-in. The house was originally painted in flat white. After repainting the house to a colored eggshell finish, a whole lot of imperfections and patches became visible. Interior corners were sprayed thicker with drywall and do not match the walls. Patches are very visible do not match either. Painting: The doors and trim were painted with a white glossy finish, however, as they painted the walls in flat white, the painted over the baseboards and merely smeared them in some areas. Condition at Transfer: The house was very dirty and needed immediate cleaning when it was handed over to us. I asked if all homes are handed to clients in this condition and was told yes. I’ve bought or built five different homes in my lifetime and this was the first time a home has been turned in to us in this condition. Most builders have much more pride than this. ... More
