I WISH I COULD RATE LENNAR A LITTLE BETTER, BUT THIS WAS (BY FAR) THE WORST EXPERIENCE, AND THE MOST DISORGANIZED) IVE SEEN IN MY 23 YRS IN THIS BUSINESS. First time homeowner. Everybody involved in this process has been awesome! I was so stressed out through the entire process but everybody at Lennar would remind me that everything is fine. And….it was! It was a really easy process and all the stress was internal. Lennar knocked it out of the park for me. Hoping they do everyone else the same!

Been pretty awesome overall, the value is there with Brand new everything awesome. If getting mortgage through Lennar, need to be prepared to turn things around as immediately as possible. That said, I’d recommend family and friends to buy Lennar home if HOA dynamics are something you’re OK with.

I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. I've been advocating to have the inside of my garage door trimmed out, where there are two inch gaps running down the sides and in the corners. The buying experience is very good from my sales man Stan and sales manager Jennifer. I had a very good morgage officer Aaron who has guided me all through out my buying experience. The construction manager Ryan, is very accommodating and made sure that all issues found during the inspection by my Inspector was addressed. Brandon the Service Manager after move-in, has been very actively working the issues that I have reported and he gets back to you quickly on-site. There are a few things that lowered your score (not sodding the whole yard, upgrading appliances, or especially not installing water purification for the incredibly hard water situation here that will mean appliance and plumbing replacements in the near future). The main reason I'm going to the trouble of writing this is to state my displeasure at one aspect of the purchase, but I'll save that for now. It seems to be quite well made with an unusually generous part of budget having been devoted to excellent ambient lighting and electrical outlets. One generally must pay a premium for that. Very disappointed in Lennar Sales Rep. and rushed craftsmanship. When being shown the house and we asked if we could put in an offer, the sales rep answered,”you can but if it gets appraised for more you’ll need to pay the difference at closing” this dictated how we proceeded. Just recently we learned we were supposed to be shown rates. We were never shown any. This was one of the worst homebuying processes I have had to go through, I feel the employees are incompetent in some departments and making big mistakes with numbers that caused me to change my loan type at the last minute, change my move in date, change my mortgage payment, and it was just an overall bad experience.

I am grateful that everything is clean and brand new, however, the quality and craftsmanship is lacking. The large kitchen sink has the wrong faucet for that sink size, something like rinsing, the sink out is impossible, and it will have to be replaced. The bathroom faucet leaks under the sink when you splash water washing your face. Over 50% of the installed lights do not work properly. It’s so dim, it’s difficult to see for example cooking in the kitchen or putting on make up in your master bathroom. The backyard is not level. Linnar was easy to work with and responded quickly to all my questions. It was quick and easy to upload the documents Linnar needed even for someone not tech savvy! All issues discovered from the home inspections were corrected quickly and to my satisfaction. Linnar offered a great one stop shop for buying my home and offering mortgage and insurance companies. I am totally satisfied with Linnar’s home buying experience.

I purchased two properties. First one had a massive hvac leak causing ceiling damage within 30 days of purchase. Second one, wren we moved the cooking range to clean, we found the area behind that was not caulked or treated properly. Both cases, we had to submit warranties claim,. First one was fixed quickly. Waiting for response on second one since claim was recently submitted

wost experience of my life. I was stressed put until the day I moved. From pre-approval nothing changed for me financially, but I had to keep submitting letters saying how I'm going to pay my mortgage. Nothing changed for me financially, I would not recommend this experience to my worst enemy.
