Home buying went good but after one week in new home we had a plumbing backup. Found out it was due to a test ball left in the line from builders. Took a month to get repairs done. My advice to builders is to make sure you are using your check list.

My home is beautiful. Minor issues but they have come right out after a virtual visit. The process for me went very fast, I would have like input & requested on carpet in the bedrooms.

I had a great experience buying our first home from Lennar. Lennar Sales and builders did a phenomenal job and were very professional all along. However, I had a bad experience with Lennar Mortgage who were pretty unprofessional.

Lennar homes are good quality for the price. However the lack of ability to customize or address problems with a floor plan or design is frustrating. When we found issues with the construction or finishings, Lennar did address them which we appreciated. We are happy with our home and glad Lennar is a builder that makes the American Dream possible but it won’t be a perfect process.

Lennar has a good team for getting through the administrative work. I’d love to see a little more quality control with some of the workmanship. I have had a few irrigation issues and some things were missed like termite protection. Some over cuts on the exterior siding. The fixtures for plumbing have a bit of a cheap feel. I really like the focus on energy efficiency. Overall is a pretty good cookie cutter home.

My home buying process was super fast/easy. What I am finding out now is just lack of communication with everything. I am finding different things out as I go, and that’s the tough part. Had HOA problems, my yard flooded because I wasn’t properly walked through how to use my irrigation system, and the list goes on. I’ve asked my neighbors for lots of help and advice along this journey because it’s all so new to me.

The sales team in the office was great. As well as the ease of buying the home. Any issues I had after move in was quickly resolved. There was a problem with the hot water heater that took a couple of trips from Casa Mechanical but it was eventually resolved. Hopefully once the new water source from Lake Granger is in place the problem won't happen again. However, I have to say I was left with a lingering disappointment and some hurt feelings. I completed a survey and did not score it with all 5 stars. I was being truthful because of the hot water heater issue. No buying experience is perfect and frankly unrealistic. Buying a home is very stressful for the buyer. Well, my customer service rep asked me why didn't I give perfect scores? He said that they heard about it in a meeting. I felt like I was being scolded and blamed. I felt like he was being totally inappropriate with me and should have kept his comments to himself. I scored my survey the way I felt at the time. ... We are having a problem with the door. A part needs to be replaced. We had another’s visit but the part was not brought out. Still waiting. We were supposed to receive a text when they were coming. Didn’t receive a text. They came when we had to take daughter to class.

This is the first house I bought after becoming a widow. The process was very fast.

Overall the home is good a little details hear and there nothing i couldn't fix but so far is good. I wish customers has better services they need to improve their skills.

From the start, the builder was great to our requests. But I don’t know why there is a concierge! She did nothing really to help. The salesperson was okay and a little helpful. Some of the items we were promised did not happen as far as getting the home ready just prior to closing. Everything pretty much is online; not very personal. Like I said, the best person was the contractor in charge.

Size and spaciousness are unrivaled. Quality of everything in the home is the cheapest it can possibly be. Buyer beware, there is NO STORAGE built into the home beyond bedroom closets and an average size coat closet. There is not one linen closet anywhere in the home. So, there is nowhere to put extra towels, bedding, etc. Home is not data ready. Homes are not wired correctly for data and using substandard data cable, nor are the cables to a centralized location in the home.

Hardware in use were good quality, however the contractors Lennar used need more training w/o any doubt

Cindy from the sales team was amazing! Troy was wonderful in assisting us with resolving credit issues. The quality of the workmanship was subpar and the fact that I had medicine cabinets linen closets, and ample storage space in my 2 bedroom apartment and not in a $300,000 home makes the value for the price paid less than great!

Overall the home buying process was fairly straight forward, however when I finally closed and moved into the house, the home was unfinished, there were chunks missing and scratched in my cabinets which should have been fixed when they were first installed since they were that obviously damaged, my attic access was the wrong size and was makeshift put together, the workers left a huge mess in my back yard and front yard of trash, pipe endcuts, and also the A/C wasn’t even hooked up so for the first week there was no A/C or heat. I would’ve been ok waiting and extra couple weeks to move in to have these issues fixed, but they said the home was finished and move one ready. ... More

Overall, a good experience working with Lennar.

The craftsmanship for this home was definitely lacking. Concrete Foundation: numerous area had to be refinished because much of the concrete stayed on the forms. I don’t know a whole lot but I’ve never seen concrete having to be refinished as much as this one. Drywall: Many imperfections were noticed after move-in. The house was originally painted in flat white. After repainting the house to a colored eggshell finish, a whole lot of imperfections and patches became visible. Interior corners were sprayed thicker with drywall and do not match the walls. Patches are very visible do not match either. Painting: The doors and trim were painted with a white glossy finish, however, as they painted the walls in flat white, the painted over the baseboards and merely smeared them in some areas. Condition at Transfer: The house was very dirty and needed immediate cleaning when it was handed over to us. I asked if all homes are handed to clients in this condition and was told yes. I’ve bought or built five different homes in my lifetime and this was the first time a home has been turned in to us in this condition. Most builders have much more pride than this. ... More

Before signing off on the last walk thru sheet make sure ALL of the issues have been completed, we've had issues that have still not been completed. Make sure your drainage in the backyard is correct, When it rains I get a huge puddle in the middle of my backyard, water comes from underneath both neighbors fences, so I will be replacing my fence in about a year. Thanks. Something as simple as painting the PVC pipe in the front so that it matches the house still had not been done and its been 5 months.
