The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. It was the worst experience we have ever had in home buying and this was our 6th home. Aside from that, ...

I WISH I COULD RATE LENNAR A LITTLE BETTER, BUT THIS WAS (BY FAR) THE WORST EXPERIENCE, AND THE MOST DISORGANIZED) IVE SEEN IN MY 23 YRS IN THIS BUSINESS. PERSONALLY THIS IS MY 7TH NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME, AND I WOULD SERIOUSLY ADVISE THAT LENNAR IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. IT'S TAKEN A LOT OF CALLS AND EMAILS TO FINALLY GET 2 GREAT WARRANTY ADVISOR THAT ACTUALLY FOLLOW-UP AND WANT TO HELP (THANKFUL FOR THESE 2!)... BECAUSE THE REST, FROM DAY ONE AT THE SALES OFFICE, HAS BEEN A REAL MESS. I LOVE MY HOME AND LOCATION, BUT IT'S TAKING A LONG TIME TO GET OVER THE LENNAR CIRCUS, AS WE CALL IT! (A ...

I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. I've been advocating to have the inside of my garage door trimmed out, where there are two inch gaps running down the sides and in the corners. Lennar and the builders used only the cheapest of sinks, ...

Plan not suitable for large mid-size SUVs and beyond

Hi Team - We purchased a Cerasi Plan and have verified with multiple trials that the garages are not suitable for owners with large mid-sized SUVs, Full size SUVs and Trucks. The root cause of this is the cosmetic divider which creates a two door garage instead of a single one door garage. We have verified the experience with multiple owners of the same plan and all have the same feedback. - Elton

We purchased our home through Lennar. we were given incentives to use Lennar Mortgage and Title. The mortgage process was EXTREMELY cumbersome and the communications from the mortgage team about things that were needed was abysmal. Income verification items that were requested and the explanations required by underwriting went back twenty five plus years and included several residences we'd never owned, only rented while in the military and after retiring. During the final two days prior to closing we received minimal communication on our actual closing time. We did a virtual closing ...

Make sure you get an independent inspection and all punch list items are completed before closing on the house. After market services are slow to get done. Look at paint and caulking for cleanup, painting is sloppy. Lennar Customer Care is a joke. They want to do virtual inspections, which does not tell the real issue.

I bought my first house with lennar and it has been a nightmare. I had to reschedule my original 1st walk-through and the seller from lennar conveniently did not send the new walthrough date to my realtor. Due to this I had to do my walk-through alone, and not knowing what to look out for. The demonstration person from lennar told me we could sign off on everything and I didn't have to do the second walk. Not knowing that this is not supposed to even be an option I signed off and was not let back into the house until after closing. The roughly two weeks between my walk through and closing a ...

The sales person was friendly and helpful . However when it came to warranty work, totally non responsive on all levels unreturned txt messages , full voicemail boxes I cannot even leave a message and after several attempts I still got no response or follow up. I want to know what good is your warranty if nobody follows through . Very frustrating and I definitely will not recommend Lennar to anyone who wants to buy a house . How can I get somebody to honor your company's warranties

Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

This was one of the worst homebuying processes I have had to go through, I feel the employees are incompetent in some departments and making big mistakes with numbers that caused me to change my loan type at the last minute, change my move in date, change my mortgage payment, and it was just an overall bad experience.

Information on website about available homes and prices of homes is not accurate. There is wide variations. Home selling agents don't seem to have the right info, and try to simply set aside any complaints/issues. Selling agent hung up on me when I raised an issue that I had. We purchased our home a few months back and the process seemed like it was never going to end. Our sales agent Devonte did nothing besides open up the house for us to view and collect his commission, the process of getting approved was so murky that we never felt confident during any point in the process that we were going to end up with the home. The grading on our backyard was terrible, planks in our fence are already falling down, and 2 months in I have already had to have the irrigation company, flooring company, plumbing and a contractor come out to fix various issues that should have be ...

We signed in Dec with the expectation to have the keys by March. Went to the lender and got rate locks with a buffer built in so even if Lennar delays by a month to April, we will be covered. March moved to April and then to May with absolutely no reason provided, except finger pointing - the sales manager will point to construction manager, who will point to vendors who wont be around to answer why its getting delayed. I wanted to move in on the closing date that was promised. So I was ok if there were 2 or 3 items that could be fixed later. But I had around 45 items on the list. After 4 months, there are still several items that haven't been fixed. Especially the windows have so many scratches. Contractors from different companies have visited and taken a note of all the issues. Still there is no resolution. The painting/Stain on the rails are so poorly done. The house was not cleaned and I still dont have this resolved on the places where I cant reach. I would never trust Lennar with such poor experience.

Our home had been delayed for months throughout the building process. Our sales person kept us up to date throughout this time. We understood due to supply shortages, labor shortages, a global pandemic, a winter storm, etc. We were patient. We had to pay extra to live where we were due to having to extend our lease on a month to month basis. Still....we did not complain. Things were very pleasant through this period.
