The water will make your wife cry.

The water smells heavily of sulfur. This should have been disclosed when we bought the home. We replaced the anode in the water heater with an aluminum one which was a temporary fix. I asked Lennar to replace it with a titanium one because the aluminum anode has already been eroded. I was told it was not their issue to fix since it was water quality. Yet, I believe since they didn’t bother disclosing the high sulfur in the water reacting negatively with the metal in the water heater would be an issue, it is partly their problem. It would be different if we weren’t willing to invest the money ...

No one acted like resolving the punch list was their job

Once items were not resolved on the punch list we were passed to many different individuals and did not appear it was any one specific individual's job to resolve the house to get us to close. Do not recommend the mortgage team for the same reason. I would not purchase through Lennar again based on this experience.

Very disappointed in Lennar Sales Rep. and rushed craftsmanship. When being shown the house and we asked if we could put in an offer, the sales rep answered,”you can but if it gets appraised for more you’ll need to pay the difference at closing” this dictated how we proceeded. Just recently we learned we were supposed to be shown rates. We were never shown any. Lying to first time home buyers so a Lennar rep. can squeeze more profit for them self’s is disgusting and I’m appalled that’s what y’all stand for. We trusted our Lennar sales rep. and got taken advantage of! She screwed us out of ...

The two people that started out helping me were awful. The last person that helped me from Arizona was amazing. Everything that was suppose to be completed before close wasn't completed. The door jams suck and always move down and allows the wind to be howling all day and night. If I had to do over I wouldn't have purchased this house. Now I am just waiting until I pay off enough or the price of the house goes up so I can sell it or maybe I will look into renting it out.

I just bought my first home in 2023 and after a lot of work combing through the market, I finally came across homes quickly selling in an ideal area! I had heard good reviews for Lennar and decided to give it a chance. Immediately in the walk thru I noticed quite a few things that needed to be fixed. I noticed a few cabinets needed to be replaced, one was loose, the doors all had some damage to the paint from being closed while wet, the carpet was stained with muddy boot prints, and there were marks on the flooring. I was told these things had been completed but was never offered an ...

The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. It was the worst experience we have ever had in home buying and this was our 6th home. Aside from that, ...

Upon final walk through house was not cleaned nor was it ready for the walk. Paint on all floors especially in carpeted areas. Multiple times said it was clean and wasn’t. Disappointed in finish out. Caulking looks like play dough was formed to fit. Marnina was excellent to work with Robert… not so much.

I WISH I COULD RATE LENNAR A LITTLE BETTER, BUT THIS WAS (BY FAR) THE WORST EXPERIENCE, AND THE MOST DISORGANIZED) IVE SEEN IN MY 23 YRS IN THIS BUSINESS. PERSONALLY THIS IS MY 7TH NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME, AND I WOULD SERIOUSLY ADVISE THAT LENNAR IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. I've been advocating to have the inside of my garage door trimmed out, where there are two inch gaps running down the sides and in the corners. Lennar and the builders used only the cheapest of sinks, ...

Hi Team - We purchased a Cerasi Plan and have verified with multiple trials that the garages are not suitable for owners with large mid-sized SUVs, Full size SUVs and Trucks. The root cause of this is the cosmetic divider which creates a two door garage instead of a single one door garage. We have verified the experience with multiple owners of the same plan and all have the same feedback. - Elton

We purchased our home through Lennar. we were given incentives to use Lennar Mortgage and Title. The mortgage process was EXTREMELY cumbersome and the communications from the mortgage team about things that were needed was abysmal. Income verification items that were requested and the explanations required by underwriting went back twenty five plus years and included several residences we'd never owned, only rented while in the military and after retiring. During the final two days prior to closing we received minimal communication on our actual closing time. We did a virtual closing ...

Make sure you get an independent inspection and all punch list items are completed before closing on the house. After market services are slow to get done. Look at paint and caulking for cleanup, painting is sloppy. Lennar Customer Care is a joke. They want to do virtual inspections, which does not tell the real issue.

I bought my first house with lennar and it has been a nightmare. I had to reschedule my original 1st walk-through and the seller from lennar conveniently did not send the new walthrough date to my realtor. Due to this I had to do my walk-through alone, and not knowing what to look out for. The demonstration person from lennar told me we could sign off on everything and I didn't have to do the second walk. Not knowing that this is not supposed to even be an option I signed off and was not let back into the house until after closing. The roughly two weeks between my walk through and closing a ...

However when it came to warranty work, totally non responsive on all levels unreturned txt messages , full voicemail boxes I cannot even leave a message and after several attempts I still got no response or follow up. Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash.
