Lennar home buying experience was great. Our salesperson, Chris, Construction manager, Kurt, and title team were both very helpful and responsive. They answered all our questions and concerns timely. Lennar makets their homes as "Everything is included" and this can be a little deceiving. We have a smart home and that is great but I would have much rather had all my rooms wired for cable and internet than having an Alexa or Amazon show in my home. Our home only came with the living room and master bedroom wired so we have had to spend extra money out of pocket to have cable and internet installed in our home. And I will say their warranty department has definitely soured my home buying process. Trying to get a warranty issue handled takes months to get addressed and even then you get a run around of them second guessing whether it is covered under warranty or not. Our yard and our neighbors yards are clearing having flooding issues due to grading in our yard and we are still waiting for a resolution. If you say you are going to respond within a day then respond and don't make me chase you down to get an answer on the status of my warranty claim. ... More

Lennar has some really nice floorplans and finishes but the process could be better. The super we had kept lying to us instead of looking into things. For example, we asked about the flooring and he said the flooring was glued down but when the flooring needed to be repaired we found out it was floating flooring. For a track builder there were so many inconsistencies from one house to the other. Not too sure if we would buy another Lennar home.

I am grateful that everything is clean and brand new, however, the quality and craftsmanship is lacking. The large kitchen sink has the wrong faucet for that sink size, something like rinsing, the sink out is impossible, and it will have to be replaced. The bathroom faucet leaks under the sink when you splash water washing your face. Over 50% of the installed lights do not work properly. It’s so dim, it’s difficult to see for example cooking in the kitchen or putting on make up in your master bathroom. The backyard is not level. There’s so many large hole like ditches, I have rolled my ankle a few times, I was dismissed & told “it will level out” ? Lennar warranty company has been attentive to most of my request, but I’m told some of it is just them cutting corners and using the cheapest products there’s a garage door with no opener, in addition, there is no handle on the outside of the garage door to open it from the outside. These are just a few of the items that I’ve run across, However, I have not had any issues with the heating and air conditioning, hot water, sewer, etc. So that’s a very big positive. The neighborhood is nice and I look forward to having a clubhouse and pool eventually. I’ve not had an inspection by a private company yet so we’ll see what they say about the “bones” of the house. The home got delayed about two months from the time they told us it would be ready. We identified a few issues during the final walk through and only one of them was addressed. We kept following up on the rest without success.

I just bought a house in Georgetown TX from lennar. They promised internet that I have yet to receive. The floors are cheap and you can clean it enough, glue comes out on the floors. Inside cheap materials on countertops, cabinets. Not happy with lennar

I have crooked colum in the front in my house the superintendent promes to fixed he never came back the selant around the the doors and trim is very bad I have paint in the floor in all house the vents in the matter rom not working the doorbell doesn't work l have paint I the floor in the front of my garage bad experience with the home the $416000 dollars bad contractors the grass in the back yard l have big Holes my son he fell and broken bone

The whole team was quite attentive minus the Lennar Sales Concierge, calls or emails were almost ever returned. I was unsure what this role entailed as there was no assistance in that matter. The lender side was extremely responsive and attentive, quick as well.

Moved into our brand new house and eventhough all my issues, and there were many, (from sewer back up in plumbing, garage door stuck in open position, HVAC heat/cooling system not producing heat, toilet water leak, and water heater elements needing replacement) within the first three months of moving in. Not a pleasant experience.

1. The kitchen and bath cabinets are low grade quality. 2. The kitchen and baths grout was not sealed. "Sealer should be mixed with grout when installed." - This Old House. 3. Exterminator quote: "Sill boards not calked - lets in lots of bugs." "Too many weep holes, not a state or local requirement."

It seemed like none of the departments communicated with each other unless prompted by client or realtor. We finally got the home, but there were so many complications to get through and no one communicated with the other so everyone was on a different timeline. Moved in with a recalled gas leaking oven and no one from Lennar could help or even get in touch with the company that provided the ovens upon their request for the home. Have been moved in a little over a month and have noticed cracking in walls and ceilings from uneven settlement. Blessed to be in our first home, but as a well known neighborhood company they could improve in a few places. ... More

Don't commit until you see the final product

They installed a leaking dishwasher TWICE. The repair person they sent out no called/ no showed THRICE!

Service after the sales lacks significantly. After closing there has not been any follow-up. Our stove never worked. We went back and forth with the electrical contractor and Frigidaire both pointing the finger at each other. The situation finally got resolved after six weeks. I still do not know how to operate my sprinkler system properly. ( no instruction Manuel left) .No instruction manual for any of the appliances or hvac. I feel like once they got my money at closing we were on our on.

Happy with home but some issues. One appliance did not work from start and instead of replacing appliance we had to go through warranty repair that has taken 6 weeks so far. Interior paint is subpar not best quality.

Too much online not enough in person . A lot of confusion

I didn’t receive a phone call from the sales agent when the loan funded. And the listing agent and builder will not accurately update the listing and remove it from still showing as pending or for sale and it’s been months since I closed. I’ve asked all parties repeatedly. On other notes, the house is sound and was accurately presented and is living up to what was highlighted during the initial inquiry of the property. Warranty inquires have been handled promptly. These other areas surrounding the purchase to impact the overall feeling of the customer and also it affects our interest in partnering with this builder again if these other areas are going to cause so much stress. I initially didn’t have any issues however when it came time to move in my house had not been cleaned and the builders left mud, trash, dirt, and urine stains in the home. My sales rep assigned to me left all my texts and emails unanswered about this issue and some other questions I had. It wasn’t until my realtor got involved that they began responding to me. They sent a cleaning crew in a few days after I had moved in who were here for a maximum of 10 minutes and did not clean up all of the mess that was still here. I ended up having to clean up the mess of the builders and pick up all the trash left behind myself. I’m happy I have a house but I’m very disappointed in the way I was taken care of by Lennar ... The house was not cleaned when we got the keys, stains and paint on the floor, tubs, toilets and countertops, the first costumer care representative was slow to respond to our texts if we were responded to at all.

If you have a model plan in place and you decide to go with it and don’t get everything you saw at the model home that will make you upset, need to have a better communication from beginning to end and have some accountability to make it right for your customers. Some items were find after move in and we summited a work order and we was told that those issue had to be addressed before closing and now we have some damage window.

There have been quite a few workmanship issues but with the speed at which they are putting up houses, it's not surprising. Thank God for the 1 year warranty. Going to get as much fixed as I find

There are a few things that lowered your score (not sodding the whole yard, upgrading appliances, or especially not installing water purification for the incredibly hard water situation here that will mean appliance and plumbing replacements in the near future). Angel and Bianca are the best who worked with us through the process!

The main reason I'm going to the trouble of writing this is to state my displeasure at one aspect of the purchase, but I'll save that for now. First I'd like to state what a good value for price my home was. It seems to be quite well made with an unusually generous part of budget having been devoted to excellent ambient lighting and electrical outlets. One generally must pay a premium for that. That's where it ends. The lovely garage comes without a garage door opener. Seriously. And zero trim work with white paint everywhere. Barren as a baby's behind. Now for my complaint. The mandatory appliance package is awful, being very clearly builder's grade and black. And inexplicably, Lennar refuses to just keep their appliances and permit me to bring my own, which I did anyway, but now it's taking up valuable space in my garage and I must go to the trouble of trying to sell it myself. The home buying experience at Lennar was intense everything seemed to happen very quickly.. it was very overwhelming for first time homebuyers. However majority of our team was helpful ( especially our loan officer) I do wish our home concierge made more time for us, and walked us through the final steps of the process but she was ooo most of the time and rarely responded. Overall it was an okay experience, and we love our new home... Even if there are still some blue tape left

They were increasing prices by the day creating artificial pressure to purchase home very fast. The lennar mortgage, title and closing teams were efficient. Not impressed with build quality though. Even visually you can tell that the material used is of cheaper quality and workmanship is average.

The home buying process wasn't too bad, but there was always a sense of urgency to do something because of the Lennar representatives. It was almost like we were pressured into buying in less than a month. There after moving in, there were a couple things missing from the home. It wasn't until almost 3 weeks after moving in someone brought what was needed. A service request needed to be submitted and a video call required, but there was no need for it. The Lennar home came with "Smart Home" features, but there was not a single Lennar rep that stopped by or would help. When signing there was multiple errors, and no one was able to provide a definite down payment amount. Besides that particular experience, everything went smoothly and I was able to apply a pretty good deal on the home which was the ultimate reason for the purchase. I would buy a Lennar again, but would definitely keep a list of things to keep my eyes on to make sure they are fulfilled before closing. ... More
