The process was very easy , however once we got to the fish line I was told things would be completed before moving and that were not. And once closed I was on my own with fixing these issues

I just bought my first home in 2023 and after a lot of work combing through the market, I finally came across homes quickly selling in an ideal area! I had heard good reviews for Lennar and decided to give it a chance. Immediately in the walk thru I noticed quite a few things that needed to be fixed. I noticed a few cabinets needed to be replaced, one was loose, the doors all had some damage to the paint from being closed while wet, the carpet was stained with muddy boot prints, and there were marks on the flooring. The home buying process wasn't too bad, but there was always a sense of urgency to do something because of the Lennar representatives. It was almost like we were pressured into buying in less than a month. There after moving in, there were a couple things missing from the home. It wasn't until almost 3 weeks after moving in someone brought what was needed. A service request needed to be submitted and a video call required, but there was no need for it. Plan not suitable for large mid-size SUVs and beyond

Hi Team - We purchased a Cerasi Plan and have verified with multiple trials that the garages are not suitable for owners with large mid-sized SUVs, Full size SUVs and Trucks. The root cause of this is the cosmetic divider which creates a two door garage instead of a single one door garage. Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

We purchased our home through Lennar. we were given incentives to use Lennar Mortgage and Title. The mortgage process was EXTREMELY cumbersome and the communications from the mortgage team about things that were needed was abysmal. Income verification items that were requested and the explanations required by underwriting went back twenty five plus years and included several residences we'd never owned, only rented while in the military and after retiring. Lennar has paid attention to aesthetics and décor, functionality and form and above all usability. I find it natural to move from room to room and feel at home. All the appliances are of great quality and name brand. The connected home experience is first for me and is really good. I would add that the sales agent I worked with was genuine, very responsive and will not hesitate to buy another Lennar home.

Although the overall experience is average, the new house customer managers at walk-through and 1st month after closing were responsive to issues. Sometimes the corrective works were not done in the time as promised, with our persistence it got done.

From the time we put down earnest money this has been a bad purchase. With the exception of Joey Blackledge and Pablo Berrios we have had issues. Price quoted different from price provided after we had to put down earnest money, closing delays and online closing issues, Service issues getting scheduled and call backs, the quality of the build requiring multiple service calls. The electrical issues that have been known about through the community, quality of workmanship being poor and then the sales manager response to us at the beginning. The home got delayed about two months from the time they told us it would be ready. We identified a few issues during the final walk through and only one of them was addressed. We kept following up on the rest without success.

Clearly our home was not ready when we closed. In good faith we closed. Our patio took a while to fix, there was a leak in our bedroom that went undetected and there continue to be myriad issues that are detected but fixing has been mighty slow. The reason we picked new construction is we wouldn't face issues like this but we continue to run into problems. We are disappointed.

You guys severely lack ownership and inter-team communication

The sales person, construction managers, and closing agent failed to take ownership of their actions and severely lacked in communicating among themselves for a smooth closure. The sales person towards the end shows bad attitude which made our closing experience worst of all. Amateurs! Poor craftsmanship!

Cindy from the sales team was amazing! Troy was wonderful in assisting us with resolving credit issues. The quality of the workmanship was subpar and the fact that I had medicine cabinets linen closets, and ample storage space in my 2 bedroom apartment and not in a $300,000 home makes the value for the price paid less than great!

Overall I am happy with the buying experience. I lived out of state while my home was being built. Cindy was on it weekly keeping me up to date and answering questions. Now that I have been here close to 2 months, I am slowly getting inside issues taken care of. In my opinion the finishing around the bath tubs and caulking’s around the baseboard could use attention to detail. The home is beautiful inside and out.

Hands down Lennar bet all of the builders in and around the Austin area. The standard package came with everything I needed as a 1st time buyer and homeowner. After closing the only thing I had to do was move my boxes in and unpack. So blessed & thankful for my Lennar home.
