Overall the home buying process was fairly straight forward, however when I finally closed and moved into the house, the home was unfinished, there were chunks missing and scratched in my cabinets which should have been fixed when they were first installed since they were that obviously damaged, my attic access was the wrong size and was makeshift put together, the workers left a huge mess in my back yard and front yard of trash, pipe endcuts, and also the A/C wasn’t even hooked up so for the first week there was no A/C or heat. I would’ve been ok waiting and extra couple weeks to move in to ...

Our home had been delayed for months throughout the building process. Our sales person kept us up to date throughout this time. We understood due to supply shortages, labor shortages, a global pandemic, a winter storm, etc. We were patient. We had to pay extra to live where we were due to having to extend our lease on a month to month basis. Still....we did not complain. Things were very pleasant through this period. When it came time to close, there was a very noticeable shift to rush US into the home before it was complete. We hired a 3rd party inspector to look at the build prior ...

Took over a year after we signed a contract to get the house finished. Construction was rushed and workmanship was woeful. Roofing done wrong and they refuse to fix it. We had to spend our own money for a new floor because the one they put in was such poor quality. Communication is, and has been, virtually non-existent We have to make repeated requests just to get a reply, let alone having things fixed. This whole thing has been a terrible experience. We would not buy from Lennar again.

We moved in 5 months ago. The day we moved in we were told not to use the A/C until the company could come out and check on it. ?. Two of our kitchen cabinets were damaged. We reported it. Two people came out to inspect the damage. They agreed there was damage. Four months later it has still not been repaired.

I’ve moved in for 4 months, yet most of my repair requests prior to closing has been pending since then. Management is not doing their job on monitoring progress.

The sales person was friendly and helpful . However when it came to warranty work, totally non responsive on all levels unreturned txt messages , full voicemail boxes I cannot even leave a message and after several attempts I still got no response or follow up. I want to know what good is your warranty if nobody follows through . Very frustrating and I definitely will not recommend Lennar to anyone who wants to buy a house . How can I get somebody to honor your company's warranties

Lennar homes are good quality for the price. However the lack of ability to customize or address problems with a floor plan or design is frustrating. When we found issues with the construction or finishings, Lennar did address them which we appreciated. We are happy with our home and glad Lennar is a builder that makes the American Dream possible but it won’t be a perfect process.

We bought a home here and there were few items reported for repair 4 months ago. Have chased both builder and onsite manager and no response so far. Would never buy home from Lennar in future.

Sales reps were disrespectful I still have a clue tape items and each week have to follow up with construction to ask if they will compete the blue tape items. I shouldn’t have to ask in the first place but it’s a constant battle. This is not been a fun experience, buying my first home.

Lennar (at Malone) was very forthright with any complications during the build process. They kept us appraised of new developments and progress on our new build along the way--including sending us pictures-- which I thought was a very nice touch. Michael in the front office always took his time to respond sincerely and concisely to any queries we had, and allayed our fear with the right information. I wanted to move in on the closing date that was promised. So I was ok if there were 2 or 3 items that could be fixed later. But I had around 45 items on the list. After 4 months, there are still several items that haven't been fixed. Especially the windows have so many scratches. Contractors from different companies have visited and taken a note of all the issues. Still there is no resolution. The painting/Stain on the rails are so poorly done. The house was not cleaned and I still dont have this resolved on the places where I cant reach. I would never trust Lennar with such poor experience.
