The worst experience ever !

They make promises but never keep it, very hard to find them , no answer the phone, no answer the emails, very unproffesional. We got the key but the house was not ready. AC not working properly, one window broken, one hole in the tale, the door was not closing properly, the attic hatch is missing. We opened waranty claims but they are not coming to fix it, we are waiting weeks and then call back and waste our time for nothing. The landscape suppose to be done before closing date there are 2 months sine we are waiting and still nobody was coming. I have no words for this company it is so ...

From the financing , to the closing , to moving into a house that had not been cleaned and clearly wasn’t ready., to trying to file repeat warranty claims and no one every reaches out and things are never fixed . House has had standing water in it 2 times in the first month , has leaking plumbing that has taken a week for someone to come address , the back yard and side of the house have grading issues even though they were pointed out by my inspector before the house was bought . Said to be fixed , it wasn’t half of my backyard is ankle deep water . Flooring is damaged, the list goes on ...

Worst Experience for first time homebuyers

Things seemed to be great in the beginning until everything kept getting pushed back and back with blame on trades, but it was really the superintendents not keeping up. We were the ones that would walk the homesite and found leaks, and then we do our blue tape walkthrough and 3PI and there are new leaks, electrical issues, cracks in the cabinetry and just a whole host of other issues where we decided to call it quits and get our money back… which we did because our case holder even knew how bad it was.

They rush you thru paperwork, bury important info in digital signed documents, no option to dispute anything you are signing. Rush you thru walk thru, identify issues, and they NEVER come back to fix anything. We have light coming in under our Front door jam, and light shining in thru the wall between entrance and garage wall at the baseboards. They rush to finish and close, they don't care about the customers. Then when we get closed, they sell your mortgage to some fly by night company. The "digital signing everything" is the worst process! We have custom built a home before, and ...

If your house interior and exterior is under warranty like they claim they don’t care to fix anything .. just have people come check let you know the issue at hand and never follow up afterwards.

The house has been fine. There are a few things we’ve discovered that are sub-par but all in all its okay. They are for sure doing some things on the cheap. The buying experience though-the worst. Def recommend getting a realtor.

Buying experience was super easy. We had our inspection and everything seemed great at first. After a few days, you start to really see why the homes are inexpensive in comparison to other homes. Just under 3 weeks in, the sewer backed up and flooded our kitchen, main bath and part of the main bedroom. It took 3 weeks to get it repaired. After it was done, we were relieved but discovered that after the trim was reinstalled, our bathroom door wouldn't close. No one wants to return calls or do the work correctly. The beginning of my home-buying experience with Lennar was pleasant, but once closing dates were introduced, everything went downhill. Lennar repeatedly changed the closing date, which caused serious issues with my current landlord and created unnecessary stress. Communication throughout the process was extremely unprofessional. The building manager, Noe, for our area in Corpus Christi has been phenomenal since we did our walk through. He has gone out of his way multiple times to see if we needed help with anything or just checking in to see how our home is doing. Any issue I have brought up was immediately addressed and corrected. He makes sure the entire area stays as clean as possible even though our entire area is under construction. He has been very professional.

Me and my family where in process of buying a new construction from them, well once all came down to paperwork the appraiser under praised it AND THEY WOULDNT BUDGE! You would think we’ll sale th house to us for that price he “appraised” it for shoot I’ll even settle for 10k over appraisal! Putting in the offer and initial approval was great and super helpful and easy. We were moving in from out of state, we HAD to close the day we flew in, technical issues made that difficult, the mortgage company waited HOURS before deciding wet signatures were okay. It took 3 days and 3 different people to figure out why we didn't have hit water, the cutouts for our washing machine weren't done and it's been one thing after another since. Lennar they offer great programs when it comes to financing but the whole process to get inside a new home is a complete nightmare. Communication.Is horrible I had to constantly call to see if there was any updates and leave multiple messages and have even my realtor reach out before we would hear back our closing date was pushed 3 different times to a point where we were almost homeless and no place to go I had to get the director of construction involved just to have them get our house to a point of being able to move in on the closing date they had. Loan officer was great and made things simple, however, person collecting required items often couldn’t find items or asked for them 3-4X. Final walkthroughs were half done, the workers were overbooked so they had others step in who had no clue what was going on. Was told the home would be cleaned up by the time we picked up our keys and it was still dirty in every single room and outside. Had A completely terrible experience due to Moving in 2 Months ahead before I ever even had grass installed. Terrible as far as overall Experience Definitely Started out with a great Experience until I moved in then it was like you purchased we no longer care about you. There's A bunch of Minor things we noticed wrong as time passed, But doesn't matter I already paid. They Take your Money and run instead of making things right I also Have chips in my fence form them getting ground ready for the Sprinkler set up, Contractors left trash in yard also
