Our initial contact with Lennar salesperson, Crystal began well. We provided Crystal what we were looking for and we were interested in the house. She provided us with the cost of the house and an interest rate of 3.99%, which was an offer by Lennar. As we went through the loan process, I was expecting that rate, knowing my excellent credit rating. I discovered it was not the case. Overall it was a terrible experience. No help what so ever. Our home was never cleaned, swept, vacuumed when we closed. Paint still on the windows and floors. Plumbing is terrible, our stove/oven stopped working 3 days in to the move. Guest toilet stopped working a day into the move. Spider every where, walls are very thin you hear everything. What stinks the most is that there is no communication. We had so many unanswered questions, prior to the close and still do. Never going with Lennar ever again. Do not make the same mistake we did.

Their biggest problem is no quality control, no management to oversee overall construction. No responsible leadership, of so many beginners in all of the labor trades. Lots of Lannar money being wasted due to no management of the many different trades.

Construction, walk through, finance… terrible experience. The amount of times I have had to reach out to the warranty dept is embarrassing. Although this warranty team is great- why are they repairing things on a new home? Finance team, construction team manager…. Need to do better.

BIGGEST ISSUE: WE WERE ALLOWED TO MOVE IN AND BE IN THE HOUSE FOR OVER A MONTH AND LENNAR NEVER GOT OUR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY COMPLETED UNTIL THEN.. Our problems started out with to many people trying to be involved but none of them talking to each other. A lot of blaming between departments and no solutions made was very frustrating. There was a major delay for final inspections for some reason and 5 days before we were to sign on our house was the first "blue tape" walk through which means construction only had a day and a half to fix everything that was listed. Our home is absolutely beautiful, and we love it. The price and interest rate were great!!!! Also, the insurance rate was outstanding. The salesman was kind and considerate, never pushy. I should have paid better attention in the walkthroughs. However, every item was rectified. There is natural light in every room, and again, I love this house. The whole experience except our sales person has been AWFUL. And it’s still awful, we have so many issues still not fixed. Our closing documents were lost for 5 days and almost made us homeless after closing was pushed back 5-6 times. We never got an actual move in clean and now I cannot get my floors clean and there’s residue all over that I cannot get off windows, counters, etc. we have damage to our siding from when they installed the sod which is only half the yard btw they wrecked into our house, still not repaired. There is little accountability with anything. When initially inspecting the house and pointing out the defects that needed to be cleaned up or fixed they promised they would fix them all. We toured the house three days before moving and notice some problems were still not fixed or cleaned, they then promised it will be ready for move in. We show up for move in and the house was still in the same state and they said they cleaned the house. This is the third house I have bought in my life and by far the worst homebuying experience I have ever had. They pushed back my closing twice and tried to push it back a third time, despite very little work being left to complete when I looked at the house 2 months prior. They did not fix all of the problems that were identified during my independent inspection, despite saying that they would and that they did. I regret not hiring my own home inspector. Came across a few dents on garage door, leaking garbage disposal and bad water heater. Put in a work order a few months ago and haven't heard back from anyone. Having bugs come out of back walls on shower. Really disappointed for a new house.

After moving in is when we experienced problems. i.e. doors that didn't shut properly, tiles in the master bath came loose and were mushy, the dishwasher didn't work when we tried it the first time, had to replace the garbage disposal, and the grout work was sloppy.

Just to be honest , I won’t recommend Lennar homes to no body My bad experience was really bad . after 2 months moved in , grass never was set it on , I called & called to warranty department and not answer I was told that 10 days after moved you will have your grass set ,but that is not true . funny is all the houses sold out has grass already and I am still waiting on it..

My house took 2.5 months longer than anticipated and ultimately closing required me to accept MAJOR flaws in the home. I received threats from Lennar agents pushing me to close, an unwillingness to remedy major concerns like the crooked ceiling/walls/doors/windows. Once I closed, it took two weeks or more, to have sod laid. I asked if there were options available as I am HIGHLY allergic to Bermuda grass - I explained it makes me break out in fully body hives. I would like to write a great review but in all honesty I can't. Our closing date was moved back several times, meanwhile we are staying in a hotel with two dogs. What a nightmare! When we finally closed it was done remotely even though I asked for an in person closing at the sales office. During closing my computer crashed so we had to do everything by phone. Make sure your home is FULLY completed because once you move in they drag their feet on getting your repairs or even things that need to be completed, completed. The communication is extremely poor between their people and from the construction manager to contractors, etc.. been in my home for almost 2 months and still waiting on items to get fixed/completed. I will never recommend buying from Lennar. This company is a joke. The communication between the construction crew for walk throughs, the agents, and the loan officers is so laughable. The construction is crap. During the first walk through, nothing was cleaned up and the inspection couldn’t be completed because of this.
