Right from the sales person to the mortgage specialist to the construction who walked the property with us the experience was excellent. Lennar is a builder to trust as per our experience.

I was looking to purchase a home early this year. I went to another Lennar community where an agent named Blanca helped me. After deciding that community was not a fit for me, I decided to look at other properties. After letting her know my budget and also timeframe, she kept pushing for an earlier date, to which I didn’t feel comfortable. I decided she was not a fit, because I wanted someone who understood my timeframe and knew I wasn’t interested in spending thousands of dollars more since I was still leasing an apartment. After finding Falcon, I went for a house there. The process was smooth, until the walks and inspections took place. Lots of items needed to be fixed and also there were items that seemed rushed and quickly done, just to get it out of the way and fulfill the closing time. In addition to that, 6 days prior to closing, the Lennar office removed incentives from the sale and increased my closing over 5k more. Unbelievable! They even told me I could stop down from the sale when I said that was not right. After going back and forth during several days, they were able to correct some of the incentives. That was such a nerve-wracking week filled with tons of emotions. It was extremely stressful to say the least! Then, at the last minute, they said that blinds didn’t come with the house, even when I had in writing by 2 people from the company, that blinds came with the home. They told me no. That’s a very deceptive practice. The last thing that happened, on the day of closing, I went to pick up the keys of my new home and the person who was in the office, was the manager Blanca, who in a very condescending and harassing manner asked me why I didn’t put her as my agent, if she was helping me at the beginning. I felt very threatened by the fact she was telling me this as I was picking up my keys. Instead of congratulating me on my home, she was complaining to me that she didn’t pretty much have my sale. The website has tons of information as your house is getting built. You get to follow along every step of the way. I was able to see my house every week after I closed. And I love how the website gives detailed information about how to take care of your home. Very good experience from a first-time home buyer. My agent was great but I wish you was just a little bit more involved in the closing. I've even known some people to get small gifts from their real estate agents.

My entire home buying process with Lennar was so smooth, consistent & accurate from contractual agreement to closing. It has been two months since we moved to our new home. We are enjoying our new house with no issue so far. there is any issue at our home Lennar is there for help I am recommending friends & families to shop house from Lennar.

I thought it would be a better first time homebuying experience. They found a quick sale. Thats all.

Carter Benson in sales at Eastland has very poor communication skills. As soon as he gets your deposit he will ignore your texts, calls and emails leaving you to have to reach out to other team members to help you. He will lie when you finally do get a hold of him to get you to stop reaching out to him. For 3 months this man has been lien saying a washer and dryer is being shipped to my home which was promised in my closing of my new home. He now won’t reply to my text messages and avoids me when going to the sale home. I’m not sure why he won’t just be honest and say he messed up and it’s not coming. But Cody Hester my down officer was awesome he helped me with everything even the things during the process Carter was supposed to. I would recommend him to anyone. For title, I didn’t know when I was going to sign until it was about two days before it was very hectic, I had to wait a long time when I went to the office because they didn’t have everything ready, and then after they wanted me to go back and sign more papers And I live like 45 minutes away so I said no, so a very nice lady came to my house so I could sign more papers, purchased many houses throughout my life. I have never had an experience like this should Communicate better, since people are anxiously waiting to know when it’s going to close and not Just two days before we close, because we have other things to do my like work. ... Lennar is a great builder their product is great and affordable. They truly care about their customers.

If you can buy with anyone else DO IT. Issues after issue, getting information/returned calls… umm yeah right. Praying on people with no knowledge of the mortgage industry and you should steer clear.

1st time buying from the builder. Was very confusing and people are not very helpful.

Too many people involved which made it very confusing as to whom to contact for various issues. There was a concierge but he seemed extremely young and inexperienced and was not prompt in replying. I think that role if properly staffed would have been perfect to help redirect us when we contacted the wrong person with a particular question or concern. A huge issue was no trash/recycle receptacles at closing. What in the world were we to do with our trash and tons of recycle the first two weeks. Thank goodness our 2 sons were able to accept a lot of our trash and recycle. It took weeks to get receptacles. At the beginning of the loan process we felt overwhelmed with the frequency and expected response times. One email came in on a Saturday afternoon with a 48 hour turn around. The loan and closing process were quite stressful. We are nearly 70 years old and the on-line process was extremely impersonal and we needed help with some of the photos to PDF process and a few other techy things. We hope to never have to purchase another home as the stress was overwhelming at times. But, bottom line is we love our new home from the layout design to the quality (except the back yard which we're afraid to use due to the lumps and bumps as we are afraid of breaking an ankle.) ... My broker did not get paid and sales man kept her commission even though she went with me and I let him know via message that she was going with me. They stated that she didn’t walk in with me the first time that I walked in to ask questions, however, I was never told that she wouldn’t be getting a commission even though she went with me to all the walkthroughs/inspections. We contacted his manager and higher ups and no one cared they also responded in a rude and unprofessional way making me think that they only care about making a sale. This put me in an uncomfortable situation as I became liable for her commission. I will never buy another Lennar home in the future or would recommend anyone. ... More

We had high hopes for building with Lennar but they failed in many areas. Communication was extremely lacking, workmanship was subpar, and the Title company was less than professional. I had previously heard differently from others, but based upon my experience, I cannot imagine referring friends to Lennar.

Overall the price of the home was affordable, especially for the area. The home was built with builder grade materials so didn't expect anything of quality and I received exactly as expected. Overall the buying process is stressful and they force you into using their mortgage. I do not suggest using their title company. The sales staff are so-so. At first super responsive but as the process moves along they do a horrible job coordinating things and keeping you updated. The walk through person was probably the only bright spot. He did a great job explaining where things are located, how to work the items, and how to file a warranty claim if needed. However items which were repaired left other issues cosmetically in the home which were never repaired and now left up to me to fix. Again, the price of the home for being so centrally located to Dallas was amazing. Even with all these issues I would buy again only because of the price and location but if I was ever looking for a more suburban home I would completely avoid Lennar. ... More

The experience was pretty easy and very efficient. Martha and john were great and went above and beyond to get my family in our first home purchase. There were some minor building issues that were addressed but overall great experience. Highly recommend but would also say to any new home buyer make sure a thorough inspection is done

I asked my customer representative, Amanda Rich to give me a paint code for the cabinets- Grey- and I am still waiting for the representative to respond to my request. It's been over two weeks. That would give you a picture how the services have been! I am not happy.
