I think there are some basic things that needed to be included in these homes that Lennar does not. I think glass shower doors and maybe ceiling fans should be the basics in homes in Texas. I also think the team that builds the homes could use a little more supervision I won’t get into that. Other than that the homes are nice which they build more in other spaces affordable homes because all cities in Dfw need affordable homes not just in the outskirts.

This is our second home, which was built by Lennar. We continue to have problems that have been outsourced for replacement or repair. The reports and updates we are getting reflect on Lennar as uncaring if we do not sign off on service tickets. Twice now a ticket has been closed without a completed repair. Where is the care in that?

As a first time home buyer, you expect certain things but I know not everything can go as planned. Communication at the start of my process was great between the loan officer and home consultant. As the weeks go by, I start to send out documents and I’m getting emails to send the same documents I sent weeks ago… or even just a couple days ago… are they not checking what I am sending. I was also given a very high interest rate even though initially I was told it was going to be a lot lower… the fix?? If you can get a lower rate elsewhere we will match it! Why not just offer the lower rate… ...

Quality of workmanship is poor. Value is low compared the price paid. The paint quality is poor. Warranty team responds to issues raised but would not fix everything.

I like the house I bought, but I don’t love it. I think Lennar should stop trying to build homes so fast. Quality means so much more to me than speed. There have been several issues that I have called about in the past few months that should have been done before I moved in. The customer service team as a whole does a great job, but I don’t care for the customer service representative assigned to take care of warranty issues. Overall the price of the home was affordable, especially for the area. The home was built with builder grade materials so didn't expect anything of quality and I received exactly as expected. Overall the buying process is stressful and they force you into using their mortgage. I do not suggest using their title company. The sales staff are so-so. I hired my own inspector prior to buying my home and they found a leak in the evaporator coil in the HVAC. The air coming from the vents was 67 degrees - cool, but not what it should be. Our AC never caught up in the summer and regardless of setpoint, never dropped below 76 inside. I notifed Lennar and they sent some contractor at 5pm who refused to look inside the unit in the attic. I had to hire MY own HVAC company to get a 2nd opinion. Low Nd behold, a massive leak in the evaporator coil. They never fixed it! After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. I have been in my home almost 12 weeks and I’m still waiting on some things to be finished. I do understand that supply and labor shortages may have impacted it but it’s been a long wait and I’m ready for my home to be completed. Other homes under construction have been getting supplies so why has it taken so long to get mine? Overall I’m happy with my home but that has been frustrating.

Construction supervisor was impertinent and rude; workers without necessary skills were pulled from other crews to complete work - which was then poorly done. Replacements/substitutions made due to supply chain issues were NOT even close to "equal to or better than the model", as promised.

I feel like the builders rushed through the process and no one actually walked thru the home to verify the work was done properly. I had so many problems with this home after moving into it . Things are finally in an ok place , but now there is already cosmetic issues on the exterior. It’s only been 3 months since I moved in and repair needs to be done to that
