Lennar - can provide more quality based homes.

can provide more quality based homes. Once the house is signed, we need to take care of all the issues. Quality of house is not that much appreciated. When I put up same question, they mentioned its human build and mistakes will happen, which was not expected. Final inspection should be done by team and identify issues and close it before customer do it.

A tough time to buy

Customer service on the builder side was seriously lacking. I expected it to take longer than estimated to build, but the roadmap was unclear and timeline changed so many times and took twice as long as the original estimate for close. My issue was really with how unclear the process was in terms of next steps and the timeline of what was needed from me. For a company that has all of the parts of the process able to be managed by Lennar businesses I had hoped they’re communication between building and lending for example would have been better. Overall, would I do it again? Maybe but not in ...

Lennar gets a lot right

It's been nearly impossible to find an affordable home. I was relieved to find a new home in a new community. The house is designed well. With that said, the community has been largely built in the absence of an adequate infrastructure. Power goes out regularly. The community ammeneties are still not complete. Contractors are leaving footprints in the concrete and there seems to be no oversight into quality control in a number of areas. Construction sites are littered with bottles and cans and storm sewers are filled with garbage in construction areas. With that said, it is easy to report ...

The home is good. A few issues that I can correct. The staff that were my main contacts were great. Some staff late in the closing process were not helpful.

Compared to the stories we have heard from people dealing with other builders in town, we don't have much to complain about. However, you can see where they used subpar materials and cut corners to meet deadlines.

This was my first home buying experience. If it wasn’t for my realtor helping me understand the process, I had no idea what was going on. A lot of the walk through issues were not fixed properly.

Labor Warranty Issues

I had a disappointing experience with this labor warranty. The quality of their work was subpar, with noticeable labor issues. When I requested and submitted a repair ticket, they refused to address the problems and gave excuses instead. I expected better service and responsibility for their workmanship

Happy we got a home but

So the home is nice for the most part, the yard is a good size. My only concerns were that the closing was a bit of a mess and it was hard to get a hold of certain people. Also. We have had an ant problem since the day we moved in and we’ve even paid to have someone come and spray but they keep coming in through the walls

Communication issues, but satisfied with home

During our experience, we faced constant communication issues with our sales rep. There were times when we wouldn’t hear from him for weeks on end during the last few months leading up to closing. Our close date got pushed back multiple times which wasn’t an issue, the problem was that it was only communicated to us with little to no notice or until we reached out for an update multiple times. If there is one suggestion I can give to Lennar, it is to hire coordinators or customer success reps to facilitate updates and questions during the home buying process if the sales person is not going ...

Not bad

Overall experience was OK. There was a huge delay in closing which was understandable because of the supply chain issues around 2021/2022. Quality and finishing is not the best, but not bad and the maintenance department is very responsive. The worst experience was with Lennar Mortgage, lots of mistakes and having to resubmit documents and until a week before closing I had no idea how much my closing costs would be.

In beginning everything was good and the seller Carson was amazing, after that it was so complicate. I had other company to do all relative to the mortgage and I decide do it with Lennar and that was like nightmare. then when I was in the end of process I went to do the walk in, and I was let them know what need to be fixed, the lady how was with me answer " you have to understand this is a production house" I don't know if the mean it is the cheaper house, don't ask for to much, anyway for a production house, they should offer good quality, and better costumer service.

Lennar - Lennar did an adequate job.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

First time homebuyers experience with Lennar

Overall, I’d say the experience was well but very overwhelming. A lot of back-and-forth, which is to be expected with a huge decision to purchase a home. With Lennar being a giant production builder it’s understandable that things don’t always go as planned, but their processes are streamline and issues end up getting worked out. So far we’re loving being in our new house and appreciate the opportunity to buy with Lennar. As of 2 months after closing our experiences are nowhere near what a lot of the negative experiences are that are posted online. We have a lot of good things to say, but ...

I think there are some basic things that needed to be included in these homes that Lennar does not. I think glass shower doors and maybe ceiling fans should be the basics in homes in Texas. I also think the team that builds the homes could use a little more supervision I won’t get into that. Other than that the homes are nice which they build more in other spaces affordable homes because all cities in Dfw need affordable homes not just in the outskirts.

This is our second home, which was built by Lennar. We continue to have problems that have been outsourced for replacement or repair. The reports and updates we are getting reflect on Lennar as uncaring if we do not sign off on service tickets. Twice now a ticket has been closed without a completed repair. Where is the care in that?

As a first time home buyer, you expect certain things but I know not everything can go as planned. Communication at the start of my process was great between the loan officer and home consultant. As the weeks go by, I start to send out documents and I’m getting emails to send the same documents I sent weeks ago… or even just a couple days ago… are they not checking what I am sending. I was also given a very high interest rate even though initially I was told it was going to be a lot lower… the fix?? If you can get a lower rate elsewhere we will match it! Why not just offer the lower rate… ...

Quality of workmanship is poor. Value is low compared the price paid. The paint quality is poor. Warranty team responds to issues raised but would not fix everything.
