It's ok, and they could have given bigger incentives.

I would have liked my 1st homeobuying experience to have been a great experience. However, the whole experience up until this point has been void of joy. I was blessed to purchase a home in TX, however the process was very rushed, I was lied to on numerous occasions, I noted damages in the home prior to closing which I had to deal with afterwards, the process of getting things fixed (which were under warranty) has been difficult to manage, I noticed multiple things after which were not functioning correctly after closing on the home.

Extra switch should be added in the rooms for fans. Double ended switch should be added in the foyer. All bathroooms have no napkins no holder amd towel holder and unutiltized space next to master bedroom sink which could turn into closet. Master bathroom does not have a lock, a tub and a window. No fans and no switches extra provided in the house. Internet point should be in all the rooms but there is only 3. There is no handles in the kitchen cabinets. There is no light in the driveway. Fence material is cheap not good quality.

Home buying experience is okay as the homes are more like inventory homes and no options to choose but not satisfied with quality of workmanship and how the issues are handled. Already seeing multiple cracks across the house near the wall joints.

Given what we know now and experience during the home buying process, we wish we had gone another direction. The workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. And the use of cheap materials in the house construction and finishing is very poor_ eg cheap paint which easily stains and peels off when wiped with a wet cloth. Nice walk-in shower cubicle but no shower doors. Door paint chips and dirt on inside walls not repaired as promised after final inspection.

My garage and driveway had poor workmanship.

I've had to call a repair person out 3x. Where both toilets were not tightened. The dryer wasn't connected. Still haven't filled in the holes in the cement for the driveway.

Overall the price of the home was affordable, especially for the area. The home was built with builder grade materials so didn't expect anything of quality and I received exactly as expected. Overall the buying process is stressful and they force you into using their mortgage. I do not suggest using their title company. The sales staff are so-so. At first super responsive but as the process moves along they do a horrible job coordinating things and keeping you updated. The walk through person was probably the only bright spot. He did a great job explaining where things are located, how to work the items, and how to file a warranty claim if needed. However items which were repaired left other issues cosmetically in the home which were never repaired and now left up to me to fix. Again, the price of the home for being so centrally located to Dallas was amazing. Even with all these issues I would buy again only because of the price and location but if I was ever looking for a more suburban home I would completely avoid Lennar. ... More

First off. Praise the Lord for this home. Tbh my ratings are probably low because of the TERRIBLE experience we had with the lady salesperson. Worst Communication Ever!!!. She closed the deal and was almost impossible to reach after that. We also went with another lender because of almost as bad finance communication. But… the pre sale walk thru guy was awesome! And. The warranty guy has been great so far!

The building material is cheap, the appliance are cheap, the yards is nice and big size.

Most customers who buy new homes already sign up for the homes even before it is built. So it is possible to customize some of the features that the customers ask for. An example for this is the choice of appliances. However, Lennar does not provide this option. They only build houses with their rigid plans.

The quality of homes is really bad. You’ll have a hard time to get the issues fixed within the warranty period as well.

Moved in with a cracked countertop. Was told it was getting fixed and it never happened. Going on two months with nothing.

I hired my own inspector prior to buying my home and they found a leak in the evaporator coil in the HVAC. The air coming from the vents was 67 degrees - cool, but not what it should be. Our AC never caught up in the summer and regardless of setpoint, never dropped below 76 inside. I notifed Lennar and they sent some contractor at 5pm who refused to look inside the unit in the attic. I had to hire MY own HVAC company to get a 2nd opinion. Low Nd behold, a massive leak in the evaporator coil. They never fixed it! When I spoke to our account rep, Jessica, she was very unempathtic and kept telling me it's hot outside. That's customer service? Really poor. Chris, her supervisor, also argued with me that it was hot outside but did agree to send the contractor above who proved to be useless. Long story short, and several weeks of arguing with Lennar, I had to show them the videos and report from the company I hired for them to realize I was telling the truth. Lennar does not want to help you. They leave you a phone number under your kitchen sink, and when you call it, they tell you to call your customer care rep. I asked the women on the phone the purpose of this number if she was just going to tell me to call someone else. After our evaporator coil was replaced in the HVAC, the temperature coming from the vents is 56 degrees. You should not be arguing with your home buyers on a new build and force them to PAY someone else for a second opinion. Really disappointed in the service I've received and concered if I have future issues. I have even recommend a friend, Jade, on the same street to buy here. I will no longer be refering anyone else. Also, I have been sent a docusign weeks ago with no explanation as to what it is or why my signature is needed. They just send you documents and expect you to sign. A lot of issues have arisen since home has been purchased. It has been a month & conveniently it seems harder to get issues resolved once house has been purchased.

After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. Seems like someone walked on Insulation in attic- compressed. Also, we had a water leak from furnace drip pan before we moved in- water puddle on attic floor. 10 inch Metal rod is sticking out in lawn and much more. Home closing was delayed by several months. Overall bad buying experience, poor customer service skills by construction manager. Good part- Terri from after sale warranty team is helping and has great CX service skills. Thank you Terri! ... I am a first time homebuyer and would have liked more support from Lennar through the process. There were a few websites for different things and not much guidance as to where we needed to go for each thing. It was just search Lennar and figure it out. I would assume a lot of their customers are first time home buyers too so they should cater to their audience more. The house itself is definitely thrown together with no care from the workers side if anything was neat, level, etc. I have been able to upgrade things after moving in to make it more livable.

Since we closed we had major plumbing issues and our dishwasher broke the other day. We have lived here for 1 month. I don’t t trust Lennar workmanship at all after hearing neighbors issues and online reviews on Lennar homes. I have anxiety living in a Lennar home due to poor warranty time frames and craftsmanship on the home. The price was ok I don’t think this home was worth $265,000 but we had to move so we took it. I do love the elementary school and amenities. It’s a beautiful neighborhood I’m just very confused on how small the streets are. It’s made for one vehicle at a time if someone is parked on the street. I don’t trust any issues regardless of warranty being fixed the correct way. I also had a horrible experience with Justin as my loan officer to finance the house. He was not doing his job at all. Justin dropped the ball too many times. I hope they build the second pool near Timber Point Dr. So we can use it. This community is too big for just one pool at the community center. Again, my anxiety is high closing on a NEW Lennar home because of the issues that were a problem prior to closing and now since we closed the issues we have experienced. ... More

I have been in my home almost 12 weeks and I’m still waiting on some things to be finished. I do understand that supply and labor shortages may have impacted it but it’s been a long wait and I’m ready for my home to be completed. Other homes under construction have been getting supplies so why has it taken so long to get mine? Overall I’m happy with my home but that has been frustrating.

We had a very bad experience with our sales agent. No transparency. He was just trying to misfeed the information and push us through closing. We had to push the closing three time just because the home was not ready. Our sales agent thought it was ready for him to close all the three times. I had to fight to push the closing. All I was requesting was to give me a home that's complete by the time we close. It was very stressful to deal with our sales agent since the signing of the contract. He made our first home buying experience a nightmare. Our Lennar loan officer was really good. We feel like the workmanship and quality of the materials used is low for the price we paid. The quality of the interior doors is very poor. Cabinets are good. The kitchen sink in all the floor plans is small. I had to remove of shower drain cap to clean construction insulation foam. The time for addressing the pending items is very long. It has been more than 2 months since we closed and our pending items are still not addressed. ... More

The sales agent, the young one was rude and didn’t care at all to explain or show the homes since “the homes are selling themselves “. I walked through a home and was told the home would look exactly like it. Lennar changed out products to cheaper items with no update to the buyer and said oh well deal with or we will let you out your contract. My appliances were not in my home for the walkthrough liked I was informed. Afterwards there were several items pointed out to be repaired/fix during the initial walk through. Those items were not fixed and I was pressured to close without them being fixed. Closing was a nightmare. I was given an appointment time, and that came and went. Closing took over 4 hours. I would not recommend currently or in the future. I will be buying another home and if I see Lennar I will run not walk away quickly. ... More

I bought inventory home from hills of crown ridge, until sales and contract signing I have no issues, but walkthrough and finishing the issues reported will not be honored and builder just say he fixed everything.. due to the market craziness we have to accept everything, even after closing if any issues are reported they will not fix them, customer service is so pathetic
