I was originally told my closing would be June 8th when I put a contract on the house. Almost every other week my closing kept being put out. There would actually be weeks gone buy that no construction work was done on my house. I finally closed on July 23rd. This was an extreme inconvenience because I had sold my house and had to stay in a motel. I have numerous text messages in my phone to verify the above information. Also the landscaping is terrible. I pointed it out to the Lennar agent and at walk through. I did a work order on it and was told that landscaping is no covered. You ...

Hi, my experience with Lenora. It was very fast. I moved in my house less than 30 days. I had to break my lease so I owe the apartments moving into the house. It was a lot of unexpected cost that I didn’t know about was not aware of and nobody told me about it I have been living in my House Two months and I still cannot get my water in my name because the house is not up to cold. It’s no communication. I have tried several people emails. Nobody’s complying.

Lennar responded:
Good morning Latoya,

Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize that your home-buying experience fell short of your expectations. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and I've already shared your concerns with upper management for their review. We're committed to improving the home-buying process, and your input will help us achieve that.
Sincerely,

Day one I was promised Lennar would over communicate during the process however it was quite the opposite. It took me contacting every VP in Lennar to get responses from my salesperson and community rep. Once I finally got answers to questions, I would get the standard response of “I can’t answer that because so and so handles that.” When I arrived for my final walk through the cleaning team was still there so we worked around them. I will say the one person who did meet my expectations was the Lennar Mortgage team. If customer service is the name of the game in home buying, Lennar might ...

Good afternoon Andrew,
We sincerely apologize that you felt like we weren't communicating effectively or following up with you. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we'll use it to improve our training processes. Should you need our assistance, we look forward to being able to offer you a much better experience.

I wouldn’t buy a Lennar home again. I have been trying nearly two months to get warranty items repaired. One being my front door lock. I have to make a 10 mile round trip to pick up my mail as my mail box station has been broken five plus months. And the list goes on.

Our experience in buying our new home went south!! Starting with financing department, I thought putting 20% down would allow us to get a conventional loan, with, well it should, but our financial representative didn’t say anything about our loan, we were about to close and he comes up with leaving tax’s and insurance in the payment, which brought up our payment!!! We insisted that with 20% down we would pay our own taxes and insurance!!! Oh my goodness !!!!! I thought I said a bad word!!!! So I told him to rewrite our paperwork without insurance and taxes!!! 3+ months of unnecessary delay and horrible closing experience

The house was delayed 3+ months with no satisfactory explanation. We scheduled closing, all processes started and then Lennar moved closing without notifying me. I learned through my insurance agent who got an email to hold the insurance policy. We didn't have CO until the morning of closing. Final walk through never happened, I signed things online for the sake of closing on this house. The sales team, construction and warranty team were so disconnected, it's unreal. Quality and especially craftsmanship, horrible for Lennar brand name. A handyman would do better and take more pride in ...

I would not recommend. Workmanship is poor quality, finding more and more issues as we get more settled- poor painting, lots of seal and caulk issues, cabinet colors don’t match, mouse infestation, the list goes on and on. Not all issues are covered which makes it more frustrating. Major issues with hot water, recently fixed after enormous gas bill. Working with Jonathan now on warranty items and he has been great thus far! Lennar should spend a bit more time in the details of the home prior to close and move-in. The walk through is very difficult as they are showing you all of the amenities ...

Overall had an experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Horrible customer service representative, who was so aggressive and self centered that she recommended to forget about our crying baby who just fell and hurt but focus on her as she needs to go. Every single request for issues is fraught back with not supported comment or do it yourself suggestion.

Builder was okay to work with. Lack of organization when it came to my closing date due to not having my CO which caused closing to be moved several times. Because I signed a materials shortage addendum some of the materials did not seem to be of equal value as to what was in the model. Mostly pertaining to the showers in the home. Also did not like my new home orientation advisor who was at my walk throughs. He was rude and argumentative throughout the whole process. He would argue about things such as how my elevation should look, which the builder did fix . Then in order to get me to ...

The entire build process was a mess because the communication between the sales member and he construction manager was awful. The sales member had no interest in assisting us through out the process once we signed the contract. We are still finding several construction issues and fear there could be some major problems we are unaware of. Do not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Could’ve done better with home materials

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star ...

Buying a lennar home is not for the weak, loan officer's are terrible, unknowledgable, Unorganized and truly do not have the customers interest in mind. That goes all the way to management, my l9an officer kept putting blame on others and not fixing anything such as my disclosures being incorrect multiple times and him saying that it didn't matter only the final one matters. Then a manager took over my loan, and he was rude and disrespectful, stuff sent incorrect disclosures, and then chose to tell me I was "high maintenance" because I had to reach out to him everytime something was sent to ...
