Frist time buyer experience was extremely stressful. I felt like I was being bullied for using my own Lender which I had stressed using from the beginning. Hone feels like it was just thrown together. I've already had to tighten up cabinets, toilet paper rack fell off, had to purchase extra power for garage, no gutters included so rain just runs o to porch, super small garage.

I did tell the sales agent that this would be a bad review. Seems that in order to save on the almighty dollar everything is done electronically. I insisted on a face to face with the loan officer and an in person closing. Had the face to face with the loan officer and brought all the documents for the loan. That did not work because he did not make copies of all the pages he needed. So had to send again. The concierge was supposed to keep me updated on the progress of the construction but did not. Everything was great until my close date was pushed back 3 times. I understand building materials have been scarce in the past 2 years so that wasn’t the main issue but the start. When I did the final walk through, the agent who did it was respectful but I believe deceitful as well. The front area of the home did not have power until she said “oh the breaker is off” when she flipped jt on everything worked for about 10 minutes. I would never refer a friend to Lennar...NEVER..or a realtor...the only good experience I had was the walkthrough with Octavio the warranty guy he was amazing and made me feel so much better

Need to be better with first time homebuyers

The day I signed the contract I was sadly given half correct information about possible helps like homestead and the agent incharge never answered my phone calls after I was passed down to mortage people. After that When I went to pick up my keys after signing there was no one at the comunity and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive and hand me my keys! Lastly my house was dirty when I went in. They never did the last cleaning of my home. The only response I got was: “maybe someone got confused on the day you were closing” other than that I have a house.

My experience was less than average. The process is complex with limited support from the staff. It is all about closing the deal vs. customer service. I was not impressed by what I got and this was my first experience with Lennar. I will likely be NOT inclined to do business with them in the future.

The home was dirty when I moved in. It took me forever to unpack because I had to clean before I started unpacking and clean as I went along. The baseboards were filthy. The paint job was really sloppy. I’m still cleaning up paint spills and splatters off the vinyl plank flooring. Also having to touch up paint on the walls and baseboards. Communication skills were poor not only with customers, but amongst yourselves.

What can I say….for it being my first time buying a house, this was the worse experience ever. If I buy another home, later on, I’ll make sure it isn’t with Lennar. Try contacting them and seeing the status on everything….no response. Oh, by the way, you need 13k tomorrow for the closing. They moved the closing a week early and expect you to have the closing cost for the next day at 4 pm the day before—worse communication between buyer and seller. The house was flooded while under construction, seemingly due to lack of oversight that would have caught it before the damage was so extensive. We fear that we have mold that will affect us later. Delays in completion cost us a lot of money, part of which ($1,000) Chad with Lennar said we would be compensated for, this never happened.

Building during the COVID pandemic is not easy. Working in the industry I knew going in that there were going to be delays and issues. What I did not expect was the poor work done with the materials that they did have. With Lennar, their marquee promise is delivering a showroom ready home. That is not what we have received. Delays and issues aside, if the work done was worthy of the price paid (and it would have been if it was truly showroom ready) I would be giving 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately, this has been from what was promised.

We had high hopes for building with Lennar but they failed in many areas. Communication was extremely lacking, workmanship was subpar, and the Title company was less than professional. I had previously heard differently from others, but based upon my experience, I cannot imagine referring friends to Lennar.

Buying this house was a huge pain. The builder routinely tried to lie to me about things and used dirty tricks to try and rush me through the process. I had to fight very hard with them to resolve problems that should have 100% been their responsibility. I am still struggling with the builder to get them to repair things that they screwed up.
