Work crews are/were unprofessional and poorly managed.

Construction supervisor was impertinent and rude; workers without necessary skills were pulled from other crews to complete work - which was then poorly done. Replacements/substitutions made due to supply chain issues were NOT even close to "equal to or better than the model", as promised.

So many things don’t work or break so quickly. I’ve been waiting forever to get my front door fixed because I can’t unlock it so I can’t even open my front door. It’s ridiculous.

Make certain everything is done right before you sign off with the quality assurance person. Once you sign that and then you close, you have warranty to deal with. Warranty has been horrible to deal with. They can only complete one item at a time. I wish my Home buying experience would have been better.

I feel like the builders rushed through the process and no one actually walked thru the home to verify the work was done properly. I had so many problems with this home after moving into it . Things are finally in an ok place , but now there is already cosmetic issues on the exterior. It’s only been 3 months since I moved in and repair needs to be done to that

The home buying process was some what easy. But the home was poorly put together. The caulking throughout the home was poorly done. The weather stripping around the doors is spotty. I've had problems with the breaker box, dishwasher, and outlets, and no utility closet. Jusr 3 bedrooms, 2 barhs. I have no doorbell, no shower door, and no towel bars. The worst part is that my neighborhood is accepting Section 8. Which is something I heard that Lennar approves of. I never would have purchased a home through Lennar if I had this information upfront. Lessons have been learned. Do your ...

This home was not built for me. I ended up buying this house but shared the issues with the home. The simplest issues where fixed partially. They caulked and painted the split door frame. When they painted they closed the doors so when I opened them the paint came off the doors. The cleaning crew was horrible. There are paint specs all over the quartz. The bathrooms and shelves are covered with paint and saw dust. The joint compound for the drywall on my ceiling has bubbled up. These are the things they need to fix and haven’t. Construction manager office is in front of me and when he sees ...

Lennar - Honestly don’t know where to begin.

Honestly don’t know where to begin.. quick answer is that Lennar fits the exact definition of Quantity over quality. Don’t have the effort to repeat myself again on all the issues. Not to say there was not positive experiences during the process, however the negative over shadowed it. The most frustrating part is they were issues that could have been very easily corrected.

Walk thru was fast and not complete. Many exceptions to close. I was given the wrong key when I closed. People were working on my home after I CLOSED without permission from me. My garage just got fixed 3 plus months later. The light switch to my laundry room is behind the door. With all that being said, I know nothing is perfect. I recommend a very thorough walk thru.

Everything went well with the exception of my Lennar Rep

I had a pleasant experience with my construction manager and my warranty tech that met me on site and explained everything to me. They both wonderful and only because of them, would I rate this super high. The absolute worst part of this experience was my Lennar Sales Rep. Martha didn't really explain anything I had asked her to. She just gave me the basic information and showed me the house. Thankfully, when I went to a different Lennar Sales Rep (Princeton Lennar was amazing!) the week before that explained everything very well and took care of me. I just wasn't approved for the house ...

We had a very long drawn out purchasing experience through the loan application, both the FHA and Lennar’s conventional loan people. They were very impatient when they wanted information but otherwise slow in keeping us informed as to what was happening. They asked for information that was none of their business and eventually told me that if I did not give them the information that the loan would not be approved. This process took weeks. I went to a bank and got an approval with 4 days. After move in, I (a former builder) found that there were house framing studs missing in places where it ...

Lennar responded:
Thank you for sharing your experience, Larry. We are sorry to hear that your homebuying process did not meet your expectations.

We also regret to hear that concerns about the framing were found after move-in. We encourage you to reach out to your local Customer Care Team by submitting any warrantable concerns through your Lennar account. This ensures your concerns are properly documented and directed to the appropriate team for review and follow-up.

Everything was great except the sales rep Bryan. He doesn't return calls very unprofessional. He was the only downside of the process. He was not there when I closed they had to call someone else to give me my keys which took an hour. It is once he received my deposit he turns cold. Even when I first applied he didn't return calls to follow up. Thankful for the loan officer and others but the sales staff should be replaced. I would not recommend anyone to purchase based on his professionalism but everything was great

Good afternoon Tamara, We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, even though we’re disappointed to hear we didn’t deliver the homebuying experience you deserved. Lennar, great house and prices, not so great service

There is much to say about the home buyer process that I have learned and thanks to Lennar, that was possible, but not in the way you may think. Firstly, Lennar prices and financing sell their houses, not their warranty, not the customer services, not their knowledge, nor the company itself really. Since Lennar Mortgage, Builders, and Title are all "separate" companies, this allows them to give you the run around and waste time on inquiries and questions you may have. Or if something is wrong in a document, they will say its the other company when truly it's one company masquerading as 3 ...

We appreciate you sharing your positive experience with Alan and the home itself. I have shared your feedback with upper management for their review. If there are any outstanding warrantable issues, please submit a warranty request online through your Lennar Account. This ensures your request is documented and prioritized for a prompt resolution.

My first contact with Lennar was not good. I was supposed to meet a representative at a model house, I arrived ands she was not there. I tried to contact her and she said she was sending someone to meet me. I left since she was deceptive about the whole thing. If it were not for the Real Estate agent I used, I would not have bought a house from them. Their customer service is worse than the DMV. IF you email a question, they do not respond. You have to blast email them and everyone else involved in the process to get a response. The house is not badly constructed, they will use the cheapest ...

I did tell the sales agent that this would be a bad review. Seems that in order to save on the almighty dollar everything is done electronically. I insisted on a face to face with the loan officer and an in person closing. Had the face to face with the loan officer and brought all the documents for the loan. That did not work because he did not make copies of all the pages he needed. So had to send again. The concierge was supposed to keep me updated on the progress of the construction but did not. I found out by making regular trips. The house was not thoroughly cleaned when I ...

Everything was great until my close date was pushed back 3 times. I understand building materials have been scarce in the past 2 years so that wasn’t the main issue but the start. When I did the final walk through, the agent who did it was respectful but I believe deceitful as well. The front area of the home did not have power until she said “oh the breaker is off” when she flipped jt on everything worked for about 10 minutes. The electrician was there working on the breaker and even thought it was odd that the laundry breaker kept flipping. I submitted a warranty request where it took ...
