Actual builder, Brad, is great! Super responsive and gets things done correctly himself. Salesman, Tommy, is a completely different story. He rarely if ever responded to questions or issues addressed.
Lennar responded:
Thank you, Jayden. We apology for the communication and resolution issues you have outlined. If there is anything we can do to assist, please send us a message at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com with any additional details you can provide and we will follow-up. - Lennar Customer Care

I’ve owned several homes and understand the process of buying and selling real estate. From the sales process to final close, it was bumpy and riddled with issues primarily around communication and a lack of clarity in details. Additional issues surfaced in general knowledge related to titling the home as I wanted. The initial response brushed it off then later was casted as a “I’ve never seen it done like that in 20 years” approach. I finally got it resolved as I initially wanted by pushing the issue further. The mortgage process was poor and lacked understanding and direction. The ...

I had lot of issues to close my recent home with Lennar. They didn't include my realtor name in my closing. I called customer service for some issues, but the response was very rude.

Extremely poor experience with Lennar

This is probably the last home I will purchase with Lennar. The entire experience was extremely frustrating, once the initial agreement was done with Lennar, I had a terrible time getting any response from the sales team or the finance team. They had six to seven weeks to close the loan that was done through Lennar finance, however I got CD an hour before the actual closing was scheduled. No response to any question whatsoever, they just refused to answer emails and phone calls. My agent and I escalated as well, the management is also just about as irresponsible and irresponsible. I am ...

Buying home with Lennar is nightmare, I would not recommend anyone go with Lennar at least in Sutton fields. 1) To start with Ronnie (sales agent) She is one point of contact who gave me 20 min to select a home and never picked my call after booking, responds only text message, no regular update on construction or meeting with construction manager. For any questions asked she was rude and will threaten like you can cancel your home if you are not happy. No updates provided as a courtesy to us on changing home Brick color, removing vinyl on bed room or delay in construction time. I must ...

This is my second home I bought from Lennar and it is the worst experience I ever had. First, The seller is empty promise, example - Promise to close on Oct, Nov and finally close in Dec. We agreed not escrow property tax in monthly payment. last minute still want to escrow and penalty 1% of I want to take out the escrow. I bought 8 houses in my life so far, I never heard such thing that you have to escrow property tax, they said company policy, if it is than let us know before we purchased and put the deposited. I am not happy with the house detail finish, however I got to moved out ...

For poor service and attention to details from Lennar lender. Made several mistake and miscommunications throughout throughout the process. Myself who is in the financial industry and worked as a Mortgage specialist found this process to be very difficult with horrible communication. After closing we arrive back to the home to find the contractors from next door tracking mud in the home eating. They had finger prints on the wall and etc. when I contacted the builder they stated “Lennar never marked the house as sold”. So the contractors were hanging out listening to music during there ...

This whole experience was truly terrible. We feel like we got the run around for everything. When we met Hailey she was great and super helpful. She was the best person to deal with throughout this whole process. Everyone else was extremely unprofessional, rude, and difficult to contact. Our closing process was extremely stressful as they clearly put off the actual closing of our house to where we had to escalate to supervisors, still got the run around from the associates, and had to stay on top of everyone every step of the way. There is clearly no communication between colleagues at this ...

The Sales is like buy it or leave it attitude. Orientation guy super rude, had to complain to re- schedule. Title not smooth too, waiting in the lobby for 4 hours, no one come out say a word. Until buyer go inside asking for help. Maybe I am not a rich value buyer for them, but they won’t make a penny from me in the future.

While closing I brought of multiple items to their attention to fix issue but they never fixed it. One of issue caused water leak after closing the house. Construction quality is so bad. Warranty support is too bad. Send some handyman to fix all types of issues. He does not know gravity of the issue. So I do not recommamd lennar to anybody with this experience.

In my experience I was told the homestead would be ready in 60 days after being told I was off the waiting list April 2021. The rep did not want to disclose the location when I asked, so I had my realtor. Once we had the address I went to view and the framing had just been finished May 2021. I was timing everything to move out of my apt end of June due to their timeline and oh it will be done no worries. Well the home did not get finished until Nov 2021. I say this beware of what you are told by them. If there are issues no one responds to your concerns. The lack there of communication was ...

It’s a well known fact that the pandemic has resulted in major delays due to limited supply - why Lennar doesn’t buffer their dates to be realistic and strings you on week by week is beyond me. In addition - City inspections failed due to obvious issues that a supervisor would have noted if they had actually checked. Lennar has turned into a “Reactive”builder and is no longer proactive about getting their homes done right.

Our closing was delayed 3 months. Fair, I understand building materials and labor have dried up. The day after we move in, our master bathroom’s toilet flooded due to contractors having put waste in the plumbing. The flooding ruined our entire first floor and a lot of personal property. It took 4 emails and 2 voicemails before we finally got in contact with the customer care manager and got the issue resolved On top of all of that, even after our final walk through, there were paint stains all over the floor, nicks in the walls, drawers that don’t stay closed, garage door didn’t work, mud ...

Nothing . - I hated my self for buying such low workmanship and poor quality home. Both are below standard. It’s not what I expected form a reputable builder such Lennar. If I have other choices I would have walked out In a heartbeat. I could go on and on how bad it is, but every time I thing about how stupid I was for buying such low quality home I get depressed.

The overall home quality is poor. The workmanship is horrible with lots of items unfinished and poorly done. It seems to be no quality control of the workers work. Appliances are cheap and dangerous. The home is not the same as the model we were shown. Different floor plan. Basically the house is a double wide trailer on a cement slab. Regret the purchase and wouldn't recommend Lennar as a builder.
