Overall good buying experience for us.

Ok ok ok , it’s good

Sales experience was the worst. 4 closing dates scheduled in November and finally was shoved into November 30th. The dishwasher was not installed when I closed and took my keys. ealk through was cancelled 30 minutes before it was scheduled. I didn't show then I got a call from the sales person who calld me a liar that the appointment wasn't cancelled, even though I sent a screen shot of the email cancelling it. Didn't expect to get yelled at though from the sales person to get on the reschduled appointment. I just would like to vent my frustration but no one at Lennar cares. Building during the COVID pandemic is not easy. Working in the industry I knew going in that there were going to be delays and issues. What I did not expect was the poor work done with the materials that they did have. With Lennar, their marquee promise is delivering a showroom ready home. That is not what we have received. Delays and issues aside, if the work done was worthy of the price paid (and it would have been if it was truly showroom ready) I would be giving 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately, this has been from what was promised.

In my experience I was told the homestead would be ready in 60 days after being told I was off the waiting list April 2021. The rep did not want to disclose the location when I asked, so I had my realtor. Once we had the address I went to view and the framing had just been finished May 2021. I was timing everything to move out of my apt end of June due to their timeline and oh it will be done no worries. Well the home did not get finished until Nov 2021. I say this beware of what you are told by them. If there are issues no one responds to your concerns. The lack there of communication was beyond poor. Even things I escalated to corporate fell upon deaf ears. I was two seconds away from pulling out of this whole thing. I would have went with another builder bc the home I loved was projected to be done around nov -dec time frame. Quality of paint inside home poor, left a lot of paint marks on flooring, water damage to pink installation I ask would that be replaced since Texas has a period of rain. Excellent experience for a first time homebuyer

The home buying experience was great with our sales rep, Steve. However I would not use lennnar mortgage again. That was a lengthy and repetitive process.

The main issue my wife and I had with lennar was the lack of communication during closing from the loan officer, loan processor and a little bit from the sales rep. Important things were not communicated to me, which complicated the closing a bit. Luckily my real estate agent was able to guide us and help us. At closing, we found several other people complaining about the same issues. The only thing that saves lennar from 1 star is Bill, who did the walk through with us. He was more than helpful.

When we got the house it was not the same model and the restrooms were different. The material that they use for the shower is a waterproof Sheetrock and they glue a piece of Sheetrock to put shampoo on it and it did not stay that long , it fell the second time we used the shower and that happened to both restrooms.

Had a good experience generally. only big disappointment was on the 1st and 2nd viewing of the property before purchase. The lady treated us really badly. We still remember this.

It was a very smooth home-buying process. All the people involved were extremely professional and helpful. Homes were reasonably priced despite of the booming housing market.

Our house got pushed back multiple times with little to no transparency, leaving us in a bind with living arrangements. We continuously asked our representative to be upfront and honest about our buyers experiences and situations but he continuously told us “it varies from house to house” rather than being transparent. We’ve ran into a couple issues after living in the house which has taken months to be resolved and required us to continuously reach out to multiple people and parties for solutions. Overall the virtual signing experience was very smooth and super simple and convenient when it came to closing. We love the house but not sure we’d go through this experience again. ... More

Prepare to wait longer than expected but hopefully it will be worth it for you! Don't push them so they rush the build!

Customer service has been ok except NOT the mortgage part… otherwise ok

This is definitely the best option for a first time buyer.

It was a great home buying experience.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

Closed on time, got what I was shown, have had 0 issues for the first 4 months. It’s corporate home buying so all the pressure is put right on the lowest workers. They were all amazing and friendly and always helped within a day of any requests. No complaints here.
