Our experience with Lennar builders was bad from start to finish. We were pressured into a walk-thru before the house was completed. This resulted in additional pressure to close before the end of the month and before fixes were complete. We were told during the walk-thru that we would be supplied touch-up paint, which we didn't receive. We have asked several times for specific color names that were used and still have not received. Attention to detail on the finishing of the house was poor, obviously the constrution manager didn't care in shotty craftsmanship. We've had nothing but ...

A horrible experience. First, communication with everyone from sales to the mortgage team has to improve. There was no proactive communication from any of the representatives, except, obviously when something was needed from us. They changed our closing day three times, each of those times without advance notification. Bought the home and the move it was rushed. During the inspection the builder hid flaws on the counter top by taping the inspection notice over the defect during the walk thru. Once we closed the build has forced us to go thru the customer care site to fix problems and it has been a nightmare. Customer care rep is unresponsive, has not fixed any of our several issues and when I complained the customer care rep called me and berated me for complaining. 2 months in and I really regret using Lennar. Very disgusted with this builder and will never use or recommend to anyone.

There are lot of problems with the finishing like painting and caulking. Especially the finishing is very bad and rushed for closing.

The Lennar sales team was terrible throughout the entire buying process. Our home closed 5 months after initial projection. This, while frustrating, is understandable given the issues businesses are facing right now. What isn't understandable is the complete dearth of information and even general communication from beginning to end. No explanations were given besides "supply chain issues" and that was when we could get an answer at all. The Builder is not Acceptible.

I would say to prospective homebuyers, Run! Do not stop in the office go as fast as you can to a better, reliable, more professional builder that will use quality products and stand behind their workmanship! I owned my house for a month and is already showing signs of decay that are not covered by the so-called warranty.

A lot of things are not in good shape when closing home. Staff members push you to close a new home, with a lot of things are missing or unfinished. Home was finished with low quality.

The craftsmanship put into our brand new home is absolutely atrocious and frankly, I am appalled. From the sales staff to the construction manager and everyone in between, it has been an awful experience. Corners were cut while finishing our brand new home and it looks terrible. Not my first Lennar home but will be the last. Home not complete on Closing Day and home has very shoddy workmanship and does not have finishes stated when signing contract. In this very tight market I believe I was taken advantage of and now it’s time to handle. Beware!

During my homebuying process I was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas and was unable to view the property that I intended to close on. So, imagine my surprise when I show up to my recently purchased home (purchased 1/24/22 and arrived 2/25/22) and saw I was missing these essential daily items. I paid 241,000 for a home and it didn't come with a garage door opener or a doorbell. It also didn't come with a refrigerator, and where I come from in Texas that's standard. Lennar is a shady company that builds cheap houses and doesn't stand behind it's work. I have had so many issues with this home. Which have still not all been addressed. Lennar Lending is a joke and almost caused me to be homeless after they were going against Home Lending laws. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Terrible buying experience. Poor building quality

Company agent was not responsive and not helpful at all, Sometimes he was rude. Home came in poor quality material, Ac was not working in some homes, they did not refuse to fix it but they did not send someone so far. Some items were missing , we request it , they took 3 weeks to deliver it. Giving you excuse when you call them. They overpriced their by 6k in order to sell it, which is not legal. but they still charge it otherwise you can refuse to get it.

Never met my sales guy. Wasted money on a flight after getting direction from the sales guy. The loan office gave poor customer service. I was told the carpet was back order then all of sudden I have brown carpet with gray floors. Like seriously, everything else has a color match yet brown carpet is thrown in the mix. Sales experience was the worst. 4 closing dates scheduled in November and finally was shoved into November 30th. The dishwasher was not installed when I closed and took my keys. ealk through was cancelled 30 minutes before it was scheduled. I didn't show then I got a call from the sales person who calld me a liar that the appointment wasn't cancelled, even though I sent a screen shot of the email cancelling it. In my experience I was told the homestead would be ready in 60 days after being told I was off the waiting list April 2021. The rep did not want to disclose the location when I asked, so I had my realtor. Once we had the address I went to view and the framing had just been finished May 2021. I was timing everything to move out of my apt end of June due to their timeline and oh it will be done no worries. Well the home did not get finished until Nov 2021. It’s a well known fact that the pandemic has resulted in major delays due to limited supply - why Lennar doesn’t buffer their dates to be realistic and strings you on week by week is beyond me. In addition - City inspections failed due to obvious issues that a supervisor would have noted if they had actually checked. Lennar has turned into a “Reactive”builder and is no longer proactive about getting their homes done right.

Mortgage process was more painful that an inquisition. Materials and workmanship is pretty cheap. House wasn't cleaned before handed over to me and it has way too many repairs that need to be done, the more toy look, the more you find. Won't recommend Lennar not even to my worst enemy.
