Have bought from LENNAR previously. This was a let down.

Initiated purchase online. Sales rep never made effort to meet with us as buyers. Was very hands off and never around when we were available and responses were delayed. Agent had to press for assistance. We liked the style of house and area so we moved forward with the purchase despite his absence in the process. Was not told we would have two HOA's. While the total HOA cost was disclosed, abiding by two associations is not ideal especially as they are seperate assessments. LENNAR, we were told, is the only builder with this as they build off the main site. Wasn't told this. Couldn't get ...

Our new home experience has not been overwhelming. Average quality of construction, no attention to details, contractors don’t care about your experience. Building around us is messy, dirty, and they make no honest attempt to change and clean up. Amenities are started, but almost no push to complete. Days go by with no real manpower to make progress.HOA does not respond or return phone calls.

Generally everything went well before we moved in. Well, there were issues along the way, but Lennar responded appropriately to them. Lennar told us the internet will be available by Fision provider the day of closing. We were happy about that. We thought if Fision does not work for us, we can change it to At&t right? No, WRONG. Now we have problem with Fision. Called HOA office. HOA office told us we can change it but still we have to pay for Fision too because Lennar has contract with them. What? That is the biggest betray from Lennar. How they can do this to people. This is ...

Had a problem with AC unit and the reaction time was not quick. Lived here for a few months always finding issues. You make a ticket to get it fixed and they only fix it if your home. So that means you have to take off work. So I been fixing it myself.

I can go on and on about the Great experience i had ( even during the frustrating moments) with the Lennar Staff during my New build Home process. But, Ahmed, Shetalia, and Brookx stayed right with me until the end. They were consistent, accurate and genuinely concerned to be sure i was satisfied. In the end because of their persistent to provide Quality customer service I am very Blessed and Happy with my New Build home!! Thanks Lennar!!

Unpleasant experience overall. Felt very rushed and like all Lennar staff was too busy to take a second and explain the home buying process to me. Lots of unanswered questions and just neglect as a customer in general. Maintenance warranty requests take a while. Ronaldo is someone who stands out as he was extremely condescending and unhelpful.

Lennar responded:
Good morning Elliana, we're sorry to hear that we fell short of delivering the great homebuying experience you deserve. The actual buying experience initially was very smooth, however since closing escrow and moving end to the community I am less than pleased with certain things. 1. - HOA covenants was not provided to me prior to signing purchase agreement nor was it provided to me at the close of escrow. Not being provided a copy and then receiving a violation letter for information that I was unaware is a little off kilter. (not happy) 2. I have followed 3 separate instructions for the homeowner request for community pool key and still have not received key or further communication from Legacy HOA as to ...

We had a very long drawn out purchasing experience through the loan application, both the FHA and Lennar’s conventional loan people. They were very impatient when they wanted information but otherwise slow in keeping us informed as to what was happening. They asked for information that was none of their business and eventually told me that if I did not give them the information that the loan would not be approved. This process took weeks. I went to a bank and got an approval with 4 days. After move in, I (a former builder) found that there were house framing studs missing in places where it ...

Lennar responded:
Thank you for sharing your experience, Larry. We are sorry to hear that your homebuying process did not meet your expectations.

We also regret to hear that concerns about the framing were found after move-in. We encourage you to reach out to your local Customer Care Team by submitting any warrantable concerns through your Lennar account. This ensures your concerns are properly documented and directed to the appropriate team for review and follow-up.

Good morning Naga. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re truly sorry to hear you feel you had unfair treatment, particularly during the loan process. The sales rep has inaccurate information and the closing process was a hassle. They claimed the home would be locked but let someone come in and track the carpets and damage the floor. Also, didn’t get the keys during closing.
