Lennar Mortgage issued a e check refund after closing. It's been a month and a half, 3 attempts a BOA and one at our bank and can't cash the check. Reached out to everyone we could think of at Lennar including rosiesupport@lennartitle.com. NO body is responding. We have requested a paper check or wire transfer.

The buying process was swift and everyone associated with Lennar was professional and responsive! Great experience I would recommend LENNAR to others!

On each step all the lennar team helped me with really fast response and very clear instructions on what needed to be done. Easy process

Customer service after closing and buying has been helpful. However I’d wish the closing to have been much smoother than it was.

The entire Lennar process was great, not only was it quick to get me in my new home but so many added bonuses in the process. I would totally suggest anyone looking at new homes to check out Lennar they take the time to answer your questions and the process is friendly and quick, it was just what I needed to get into my new home, and I love it!!!

Month and half still haven’t received mail keys. Overall workmanship medium at best!!! No attention to detail!!!

Everything I see is nothing but a rip off. Want your money, after that no follow up on customer to see how things are. Never heard from salesperson to see if I was happy and how everything is going. Never will I buy from Lennar again.

I am very unsatisfied with the whole experience. Worst ever decision I made to purchase thru Lennar.

Ultimately, I'm happy with my new house, everything was built properly, and professionally, and if there was a defect, it was fixed. My Experience was annoying during the process of signing the paperwork. Whenever they needed me to sign something, it was while i was at work helping out a customer, and because I did not sign or read their emails immediately, I was sent a second notice that read, "as of this time, on this day, at this hour we sent this document to you and you have still not responded." how rude and they continued this behavior after I've told them multiple times that I'm not available. The communication among themselves was not great, because I had to repeat myself over, and over again that I may be waiting to receive the documents, or information they are asking for. That didn't stop them, they continued to pester me to give them the documents or to sign their documents. Ultimately, everything worked out, but they are extremely pushy for you to sign their documents. They need to relax, and calm down, I still managed to have everything ready before the deadline, but not because they rushed me. I did not need to be rushed though, so for that I give them a 1 since I cannot give them a 0. But the house is fine, I'm happy as my first house, so credit needs to be given where credit is due. Jordan was a great Sales person though, he Helped me find the house, and was very kind to explain so many details about owning a house and the process to buy one. Over all is good. The workmanship of the house is good, however after we moved in the floor of the padio and the garage cracked and we were told the warranty does not cover that. That's a little disappointment. It's only a month since we lived. Cracked floor should be maintained by them.

Overall experience was a bit rocky, there is a huge lack of communication at times during the process which causes anxiety and unnecessary stress. I didn’t know I would be closing for sure until after 5pm the day before, it was very stressful. Also when I actually picked up my keys, the person who sold me the house was out for paternity leave (so happy for him) but the person there was real impersonal, just handed me the keys and was like good day. I was disappointed because buying a house is a big deal.

I have purchased about 15 homes in my adult life due to job moves. This by far was the worst loan experience I have ever had. Our loan officer, Amanda Claxton, gave incorrect information each time a question was asked. She has no eye for detail and is “ok with things not being exactly right”. I have never heard those words from someone working in finance. She told us things that simply were not true in multiple occasions and when we called her out she denied it even though I have it in email. When she doesn’t know the answer to a question she just makes one up. Simply the worst experience.

Initially I had doubt in my mind. But after my pre-qualification. I was told it got approved. Then the process begin and end on time of the day closing. They kept their promises, and shown total professionalism toward the customer.

the lennar team did a great job with my entire home buying process. from start to finish. from sales to closing. so glad I caught them building my house that I didn't know I needed, until I actually needed to move into it right away when I sold my home. the timing was impeccable, couldn't make this up if I wanted to. thank you lennar - chef's kiss!

My Lennar Sales Representative guided me throughout my process in buying my home.

We have been trying to buy for 5 years and could never qualify let alone afford a home in the DFW area until this year. The buying experience was great with Lennar, they were very transparent in what we were getting into. The numbers were spot on. The home is new so it’s great when it comes to knowing what we’re getting. There was some dishonesty in the selling process: we were told when we did our new home owner orientation walkthrough, that no one could be let into the home after that point until closing day as the locks changed and they wouldn’t be able to access the house. House was spotless at the new home orientation. We get our keys on closing day and walk into a dirty house! After talking to the salesmen they stated that they were showing our house after the new home owner orientation. They let us know they already tested our keys and they all worked. It was very disappointing. Reaching out to the sales guys now they don’t remember things they said when selling the house. For the most part we are happy with the home. Wish the yards were bigger and more level as it’s hard to use a sloped lawn. ... More

From the start of our home-buying experience to the end, we have had issue after issue - from trying to work with Lennar mortgage to the sales office, we have had to continually push *upper management* for a response. Although our home was move-in ready when we started the process, our closing date was delayed three times without so much as an apology - there has been absolutely no transparency through the process. Lennar emailed us early on saying to ensure we reply quickly to emails or requests, however, Lennar is excruciatingly slow in getting anything done. If you’re willing to be patient more than anyone should have to be, I guess our Lennar home worked out in the end, but I would go with ANY other builder in the future.
